Marriott Riverside at the Convention Center

Paid parking seems unreasonable. The food at the hotel took forever to get and when it was ready, it would just sit there.

Great property nice clean rooms. Only issue is that they charge from parking. Having To pay for parking at a hotel that I’ve already paid to stay at is a horrible businesses practice.

Clean, new looking facility. Would be nicer if the Starbucks was open later.

We love the pool and the hot tub.

Parking lot didn't read QR code but call button worked. Too high price for parking and elevator in parking structure was broken. Breakfast Satff were great!

Decent Stay, but Room for Improvement The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and check-in was smooth. Our room was spacious and well-stocked with essentials. Parking was easy and convenient. However, the hot tub was out of service, pools were lukewarm. When we requested towels, none were delivered—even after 90 minutes—which left us walking through the lobby soaking wet. Although we came for the event, we still expect our room to be a nice break from all the crowds. Our second night was less than stellar as we were kept up until 2am because of a loud party / concert happening on the floor below ours. While the location is excellent for convention center events and the stay wasn’t terrible, the experience was mixed. I might stay again for the convenience, but I’ll also consider other options before booking again.

The hotel was nice as well as the staff however the only issue was paying for parking. We already pay for the hotel why is parking $30 just to park at the hotel we are staying at. Obviously to get to the hotel and around you need a car and we shouldn’t have to be charged for this.

Going on a cruise we wanted a hotel close to the airport and port. Love this hotel. Pricing is fair, staff is extremely friendly and the room was very clean. Even better, Champions Sports Grill is in the building and we had a good meal after traveling all day!

House keeping never came to our room the 3 nights we were there. The staff was cold and not approachable. The pool and Jacuzzi was pretty dirty and we were left with no pool towels for hours. The cherry on top was the $50 parking fee when I checked out. Why is parking not included in the room? For being the "best" hotel in downtown riverside we were unimpressed.

I had a wonderful stay at this location, and I can't recommend it enough! The staff, especially Noah at the front desk, went above and beyond to ensure my experience was perfect. Their warm hospitality and attentiveness made all the difference. The amenities were fantastic. I was particularly impressed by the cleanliness throughout the hotel and the convenience of the quality restaurant and bar.

Found bugs in room

Terrible stay, there were bedbugs in our bed, we ended up very bitten

Room had a horrible smell and the AC was super loud.

The hotel was safe and very clean. Easy access to downtown.

Marriott gas always been great. But this time fell below on the bed having a dirty comforter and a sewing needle left in bed. My daughter was stuck in leg when rolling out of bed. The front desk was great on trying to resolve problem and had housekeeping change the beds asap. Vanessa great front desk service.

The property was located in a location we needed. The lobby is clean and modern. We were on the 8th floor. The hallway carpet was dirty and in need of vacuuming. The room was decent sized, big shower, and the bed was decent, not great but not amazing. For one night it worked. The remote had such a delay that it was difficult to use. No carpet in the room which was nice but showed the dust and dirt in the room. Overall our stay was good and we would stay again. Front desk girls were polite and friendly.

Clean room

The sheets had blood on them which was absolutely unnerving, unsettling, and disgusting to say the least. It made the rest of the room feel dirty and made me very uncomfortable for the whole stay. I would hope the sheets were washed but by the looks of it, I would assume they weren’t. There was also lots of dust on the edge of the shower doors on the floor that could use some scrubbing because it began looking yellowish. Other than that, the stay was fine with good amenities for Marriott members.

Great property, close to dining/bars, in the middle of downtown Riverside. Rooms are updated and look great. Good size room, and had a great view of downtown and the hillside. Would definitely stay again.

Overall, a nice hotel - clean, polite staff, nice propert, and easy to park and walk. Room was very clean and comfortable. Bed was a little too soft for me. Insulation is not the best, so neighbors and hallway noise can be heard. Internet was not great. Made it very difficult to watch TV. - HBO, SHO, Netflix.

Great location, central to everything. Room was comfortable. We had issues with the A/C but they fixed it quickly.

I enjoyed how the hotel was very accommodating, minus the false advertisement of free WiFi.

We got there and the room was hot out took a good ten minutes after we turned the air on to actually start cooling the room. I was calling to get a maintenance person when it finally turned on. It took another hour or 2 to get the room cool. The shower and towels had hair on them. It didn't have basic things in the room like a fridge. I called to let them know the fridge wasn't working and hot and they told me it's not a fridge but a cooler that looked like a fridge... We had to make many trips to the 5th floor to get ice. Ice is only on the 5th floor. We ended up with water all over the place because this fun "cooler." It was a hassle for a hotel that's supposed to be on the nicer side.

The security guard was extremely rude to my boyfriend asking him why he was there. Once he showed his room key the security guard said that doesn’t mean anything and stated people like him don’t belong here

We got to the hotel after making a reservation through hotels.com like we always do, after an 8 hour drive in a heatwave to the worst customer service we’ve ever had in a hotel. Natalie (manager or something) said we couldn’t check in even after seeing the receipt with the payment and reservation and having my ID and credit card. She said we needed to wait for the hotels.com payment to do something. It could take up to one hour. She never said “I am sorry” or showed any sign of empathy for us being exhausted trying to get to the room that we PAID FOR. We travel a lot and we stay in multiple hotels all over this country, and I’ve been using the app hotels.com for years and we never had a situation like that! Ever! In any other hotel chain they always allowed us to start bringing our stuff to the room even if the app is slow or, or they make the reservation manually and update it later. We never had issues! She raised her voice to me - with a smile on her face, of course! Awful terrible customer service. Then when we finally got to the room the mini fridge wasn’t working. I had to call her twice for her to send a new one to the room. We are traveling cross country so we carry coolers with food. So on top of terrible check in experience and having to wait we had to wait and call and wait more for a new fridge. Also the WiFi is paid (15 dollars a day). And the breakfast can only be eaten there, you can’t grab something and take it to the room. Also the room Had dirty spots.

When I arrived at the hotel when I check in I realized that I didn’t book the hotel for 2 more nights and I wanted to add another night. I understand that was an error on my end but the receptionist at that time advised me that they could not add another room due to all the suites being filled. I was also told I could not add any additional nights due to that exact room being booked for those 2 nights I was requesting. As I settled my luggage in my room I went on my phone and found 2 reservation available (hotels) on the third party app and 3 rooms available on the actual hotel website. I added them with no assistance from the very rude unhelpful receptionist down stairs. As I was going to check out and check in for my second stay yet again I was treated with another rude receptionists who hardly gave me any information. I thought they were going to give me another suite but instead they let me stay in the same room which what I originally asked for but was denied due to false information and the staff not wanting to assist me at the time of my check in. The second receptionist at the time then went to add do you know the rate of the room for the 2 additional night very sarcastically and very rudely making it seem that I could not afford a suite due to being Hispanic. I just want to add that there is a difference of informing how much the rate is and judging and making rude comments. The room tv remote didn’t work. Pillows had no fluff. Poor water pressure no tissues in box.

This is the 2second time we use the hotel and convention center for an event. The Hotel does not have the staff to handle the amount of people they book. They book back to back event and can not turn the rooms around fast enough. The rooms are not cleaned and can not check in un till almost 7 pm at night. We had an event in the convention center and came from out of town. This delay made us late as we could not get ready in our room. Not to mention the extra stress that this adds when you have a schedule and a large group.

Car got broken into

Property was centrally located in downtown Riverside, easy to walk to everything. 1 downside: there is only 1 universal EV car charger. There are several Tesla chargers, but only 1 universal and it was constantly being used by other cars.

Love we could walk to cafes and shop. But many homeless in area outside of property. We were confronted by one carrying a broomstick during the day. It took a lot of effort to be able to walk away from him. The homeless in the area seemed to have mental issues not drugs.

Great stay at the hotel with two rooms adjacent to each other with a connecting door. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Enjoyed looking at all the Christmas lights and decorations.

Amazing place to stay if you're going to be in Riverside. It was a block away from Downtown Riverside so we had no issues finding amazing spots to eat and drink within a two block walking distance.

When we checked in the concierge said we have free breakfast in the morning. When we went down they said no, it will $25 per person. Other than that hick up it was a very nice stay.

Marriot stays are always great. Clean. Comfortable beds and the drinks are great at the bar.

The staff is wonderful, and the property is very well-maintained. A pleasure to stay there but...buyer beware. Self-parking is $30 per night. Wi-Fi is available for additional charge. Breakfast buffet is delicious and ample, but if you want a cup of coffee & a roll, you might be better off walking to one of the nearby restaurants. The buffet is $24 plus tax per person. California up-scale prices. Additionally, there was the noise & bustle of an Anime convention on premises for the weekend...not an up-scale bonus.

The hotel was lovely and an easy walk to the Fox Theater, which was our ultimate destination, however we would have appreciated some food and bar service at lunch time.

Hotel was nice and clean. Movie channels were terrible. Connection was really bad and we couldn't finish a movie with the kids because it was lagging all night. Dinner service was really nice, breakfast service not so good. Few people helping the guests and it took forever to get someone to bring coffee and juice to our table.

The place was nice but lack of dinning. You had to eat in your room. But you had to walk down to the area to order. No ordering from your room or brought to you. They had the restaurant all set up and tables too, but they refused you to eat there. You order and take out in boxes. Beds were my best.

It was good but not the best, this Marriott seems a little run down but could be because of high traffic. Breakfast service is incredible, all else misses just a bit.
