We arrived after a long day after 3:00 (check in time) and our room wasn’t ready. The hotel didn’t seem exceptionally busy but then we were given an incorrect room (king room for 3 people). Then we find out the pool was closed which was the main reason we booked this place. Disappointing. But the breakfast was really nice and the staff was friendly.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Located a box fan to loan my husband who likes a fan pointing at him at night. Told us that there’s plenty of food still and come on down when we called down 5 minutes before breakfast was supposed to end as we had overslept. Wonderful breakfast and nice pool. Thank you for the great hospitality! Highly recommend!

The hotel was clean, but in much need of maintenance and/or upgrades. There was virtually no water pressure in the bathroom sink. The carpet in the room was severely wrinkled which created a real tripping hazzard. We've stayed at many other Holiday Inn Express locations and this one is not on the same level. Our expectations in relation to $300 per night were definitely not met.

At first blush, it seemed fine, but on closer inspection, we had an infestation of tiny bugs in the bathroom. The new flooring in the bathroom was not finished, with raw edges and open gaps allowing us to see the sub-flooring at the tub edge (easily could have been fixed with rubberized finishing mould to prevent water getting to the sub flooring, without finishing, you will soon have dry-rot), and some spacing work was left unpainted after completion. When I went to use the ironing board, it was broken. It is all in the little details. Someone needs to do a punch list for room 214, and finish what they started before having guests in the room.

Stayed in room 404 - water pressure in sink terrible..hole in bathroom door with a big patch on it…shower curtain bar hanging down..not worth the money at all.

Bath towels were extremely old! Also some rust on bathroom door. Maid didn't understand English and was unable to answer a question. This may be the reason why the low water pressure in the bathroom sink was not reported and fixed. Bed was very comfortable, breakfast was good and we enjoyed the fresh ground coffee.

Overall the stay was good. The staff were friendly and inviting. I was on the third floor and the noise level from above was insane and all night. It sounded like there was a heard of elephants above me. I have stayed there years before and do not remember such noisy. There was also a guy who was always outside on the bench every time we went in and out. I don’t know if he worked there but it was very strange and we were there for five nights. Overall good stay just the man was creepy and the noise level was the only drawback.

Broken Window, loud air conditioner, bathroom tile coming up, clogged sink. I usually stay at another franchise but our group was staying at Holiday Inn, maybe I’m spoiled but I paid more for HI than I do with the other group. You had your chance.

The toilet in our room was not properly bolted down, the bathroom fan didn't work, and neither did the outlets between the beds. The beds were uncomfortable, and the fan ran constantly on a 5 second cycle, yet the compressor didn't come on (quite annoying). The pancakes were chewy, and we almost didn't get breakfast at all because of a youth group which took all seating available, and even put their luggage on some seats instead of the floor.

Will not be back. Rooms in poor repair, including toilet not bolted down properly, beds were uncomfortable, and there was a youth group running around knocking on doors and then took up the entire breakfast area the next morning. They even had their luggage sitting on seats rather than the floor, leaving no space for other guests.
