I loved how quiet everything was. It was so peaceful and laid back. I also loved how convenient it was to Cades cove. The only thing I didn’t like was how we went down to the pool around 8:15 and the worker came in right when we were about to get in it and said it was closed. When the sign said 9pm. Other than that we loved it!

Good place to stay and not break your budget, for a night or two. Townsend is a nice little town close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, without staying in the chaos. This motel is across the street from the river, if you’re planning on tubing! Place is clean and looks to be going through some renovation. It is an older place, but room is clean and cozy. Beds were a little firm, no hairdryer in the room, and no place to plug in any USB type devices, so bring a plug.

So the sign on the pool says it’s open until 10pm but the staff made us get out at 9pm. They either need to take down the hours on the pool or tell people at check in that the pool closes at 9pm. Our tub didn’t drain very well. We had to continually empty the air dehumidifier in the room. This was not disclosed at check in either.

Clean room but not comfortable. Hard bed, harder pillows. No place to sit but on the hard bed, a worn out cushioned chair and a hard back wooden chair. This was a BASIC room. No mini fridge or microwave. Bathroom small and vintage. Only one light in bathroom that does not illuminate the shower stall.

Definitely one of our favorite stays so far. Staff was friendly at check in and check out. Our room was clean and loved that we had our own balcony/patio. Had a beautiful view of the mountains sunrise from our balcony. The only thing missing was a hair dryer in the room as I forgot mine at home. 10/10 would recommend and will be back in the near future!

I absolutely loved the location. The pool was amazing. I even loved our room. My only issue was the bed mattress/frame. I would recommend my friends and family to stay there. All the staff were amazing and friendly.

Quick one night stay before exploring Cades Cove. Older property but very well maintained and very clean! Interactions with staff were at check in and check out and we were greeted with friendly, professional service. Highly recommend this gem in the quiet side of the Smoky Mountains!

Very nice property and friendly staff. This is an older hotel but it was exceptionally clean with nice updates to the interior of the rooms. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Townsend.

This is a very well updated motor lodge in the heart of Townsend absolutely loved it! We had a king bed with a fireplace, and it was very cozy and plenty of room and everything felt updated and clean!

One of the clerks at the hotel was friends with a group that were staying there. The ladies were foul mouthed and vulgar in front of my grand children. Videos were showed and she allowed them to continue to harass visitors.
