Motel 6 Carpinteria, CA - Santa Barbara - South

The lady in the front desk Sarana , cancelled my hotel reservation and pretend I did not have a reservation and made me book all again for the arrival night for a higher price. I did it because It was late in the night. When I spoke to Sandra an excellent front desk staff in the morning shift, she figured out that she found my reservation and the night shift lady did a mistake. The supervisor Sebastian argues and would NOT process my reservation as-is instead want to keep the higher price. This place is a night mare, and people were smoking and yelling in the nights.

The room was clean and the staff were really nice. For specifically, although, I think she normally works at another location.

Good location for a roadside rest. Simple with nearby amenities. Some traffic noises but slept well.

The staff was incredible. We had an issue with the TV in our room and within minutes of calling the front desk a maintenance worker was at our door and the issue was resolved within minutes. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The location was amazing. We could walk everywhere. This is just a few minutes walk to the harbor seal reserve and very close to Linden Street. I will definitely stay here again. The value for what you get is truly amazing.

Just an average hotel. Could hear all conversations from room next door. Fairly clean. Comfortable bedding.
