Confusing parking, miscommunication at reception, broken elevators, elevators that were across the building that don’t work unless done a specific way (wasn’t told about at check in). Room was fine but had holes in the blankets and TVs didn’t work.

The suite was very spacious providing full kitchen facilities a lounge area and small balcony. However, I specifically chose the Meriton as it had a swimming pool... only it wasn't on site and you had to walk around the block to a communal swimming pool I then wasn't able to obtain a key (they were all out) and so had difficulty getting in.. not an easy process

Stayed in a street level two story apartment for two nights. The apartment was excellent. Super comfy bed and pillows and the apartment was quiet despite being next to the main road. The hotel has heaps of underground parking, is next door to Coles, bottle shop and restaurants. About a 10min walk from the tram station which is really convenient as we were in the city one night and Randwick the next. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. We didn’t check out the pool or other facilities, but what we did experience with the hotel there was nothing I can fault about it.

Sadly a number of issues: - pool and gym is a walk away in a seperate building which is unclear here - broken glass in cupboard - some kind of residue on office chair - bedding had marks - towel had hole - shower screen had a part broken (didnt limit functionality) - WiFi was pooor which made bith work calls and watching streaming difficult (with limited 5G coverage so couldnt even use that) All relatively easy to fix but together gives a poor rating Water pressure in the shower very impressive but it made the shower head move and soaked the bathroom a bit (I dont yhink I've ever complained about too much pressure!)

Room was fantastic, clean and to a high standard. Kitchen was fine, no washing liquid that i could find but that just meant dishwasher or leaving it to cleaning staff to clean on checkout. Only downsides is that the gym is offsite, wasn’t that big a deal, but as it is shared with the Meriton residental apartments, is really busy at night, and is still bsy at non-peak times in the afternoon

Overall, the stay was fine, but we had two major issues. The hostel’s jacuzzi was beyond dirty—extremely filthy—which was very disappointing. Additionally, we were never given a card to access the facilities and had to rely on the gym staff to let us in each time, which was quite inconvenient. We chose this hotel specifically for these amenities and ended up very disappointed. Other than that, everything else was standard, normal, and fine.

Property was incredibly noisy, the studio room had a terrible smell. It was also very unclean. The shower had soap scum all over the glass and the top floor was not clean as our feet were filthy after a shower. Would not recommend staying there

The fridge had mold in it and the seal was half off. Sauce up the wall near the bin. Looked like the bedroom cupboards hadn’t been dusty in for ever. When I told and showed reception they did get someone to come and clean it but Wasn’t offered a discount or anything like that

Pros: - Coles in the same complex - Friendly staff - Good location if going to an event at EQ Cons: - Initially put in wrong room (basement level via car garage with street entrance) - Modern suite in dire need of TLC all round - Hallways and rooms have an awful smell - More than rough around the edges - Didn’t feel clean - Didn’t look clean (bathroom mostly) - No facecloth/washcloths?!? Never have I come across this before? - Did I mention how awful the place smelt? (Musty, moist and urine?) - Pool and gym not in the same building - Broken shower door, half off its hinges so didn’t close - Screen door broken, off its rail so didn’t close properly - Road noise as property is on the eastern distributor (basically a freeway) Review isn’t a reflection on the staff as the were friendly but I absolutely wouldn’t stay here again.

Apartment very clean with everything provided that you could possibly want. Reception staff very helpful. The suites were in a very nice neighbourhood in Sydney, very safe and clean. Shops, Bars and bus only 4 mins walk away. Would highly recommend.

Lovely place to stay and walking distance to the Hordern Pavillion. The room was very spacious and nice. We had no toilet paper and stood on a couple of small pieces of glass on the floor so not convinced it had been cleaned properly.

Beautiful one bedroom modern suite, spacious and clean. Bathroom and bedroom were upstairs with a large bathtub. A small laundry and plenty of storage spaces with a walk in wardrobe and a storage cupboard under the stairs. Beautiful view looking over Moore Park and well located for the needed locations. Plenty of food options closeby and a coles supermarket close as well, which is handy with the full kitchen in the suite.

Microwave was not working, dish washer was hard to start. Offer is Irritating - the room is Not Next to a street but a FREEWAY! It’s a big difference and incredibly loud. Third Party parking not very polite. Our Plate was wrong inserted, so we needed to call help on the barrier 3 times - even if they told us they fixed it

I have stayed in many Meriton suites, they are generally one of my preferred choices. For this particular example the unit was dark and run down, the amenities were also located in a building further away. Would not stay here again.

I stayed at Meriton Suites Waterloo for one night. The apartment itself was large, clean, and well-appointed, and the staff were genuinely lovely and welcoming. However, being so close to the freeway made it extremely noisy, which definitely impacted the overall comfort. It’s fine for a one-night stay if you need something convenient in the area, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a longer visit unless you’re a very deep sleeper.

Great location. Check in is later than most places but we were able to enter early, just ask. Only negative issue is the wifi. Access was extremely limited, didn’t work most of the time which was in convenient, especially considering the high cost of room

This was a really great apartment and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Apartment is located near a bus which can get you into all the Sydney icons but is also within walking distance to quality restaurants and pubs which the locals go to. It is a 30 minute walk to the Oxford Street precinct which was great for me. The bed was EXTREMELY comfortable (I need to know which brand of pillow you use!). As there is some noise from the freeway next door this could be an issue for some (but not me). Apartment was fully decked out with washer and dryer which was a bonus too. I would recommend changing the shower head as it was a little worse for wear but only a suggestion.

Look it’s not great, it definitely needs some love and not really worthy of a 5 star rating. Whilst it was good value for money, and is located a short walk from Coles and the SCG. I probably wouldn’t stay here again for a hand full of reasons. - the mobile reception with Optus and Telstra is poor, which is normally fine when wifi is available, but the wifi was poor and often unusable. - the condition of the bathrooms were a little worn. - they have onsite pools, gym and spa which are located in a building about 5 mins away. But the room keys don’t work, and nobody told us a seperate swipe was needed (which they had none of). - room cleaning is every 3rd day, and it’s barely a clean. They didn’t replenish any of the amenities, didn’t even replace toilet paper, which was empty… what’s the point of even entering the room if you’ve literally just put some stuff in the dishwasher and loosely made the bed.

We had trouble on the first 3 nights due to leaking pipes in the downstairs bathroom & kitchen (fridge) We asked to be moved & Samuel the Duty Manager moved all our luggage to a one b'room Modern Suite... He processed a credit for one nights accom. & provided a gift with card & letter of apology for messing us around. Overall a great experience thanks to Samuel... All the staff very very helpful.

Definitely a great location, room was a bit untidy and the parking was a nightmare to access due to the staff not entering the details properly, took at least 5 attempts to finally get them to fix that issue.

Stayed in a street level two story apartment for two nights. The apartment was excellent. Super comfy bed and pillows and the apartment was quiet despite being next to the main road. The hotel has heaps of underground parking, is next door to Coles, bottle shop and restaurants. About a 10min walk from the tram station which is really convenient as we were in the city one night and Randwick the next. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. We didn’t check out the pool or other facilities, but what we did experience with the hotel there was nothing I can fault about it.

when we initially checked in, our room smelt very strongly of cigarettes & the staff were quick to change us into another room. however, the windows in the new room were stuck open and we had to wait for maintenance to solve this issue. the staff were very apologetic, but it seemed as though the rooms hadn't been cleaned prior to check in and that was how these issues had slipped through the cracks

Travelled from NZ & stayed for 4 nights with my daughter and we found that we really enjoyed our stay. Staff were super friendly and accommodated our small requests. We had a 1bdrm unit and the room was a good size and kitchen had all the ammenities we needed. Also loved that the room had it’s own laundry facilities. Coles, fitness centre & bus stop were also really close which has so handy for us. Would 100% stay again.

We attended the womens world cup football ⚽️. The hotel is situated near allianz staduim walking distance .The apartment was excellent every thing you would need for a extended stay .It was very roomy .The bed was very comfortable. The only negative was the road noise was quite noticeable of the busy highway outside .

Stayed here to attend a concert at Allianz - easy ride to stadium in an Uber and a quick walk down the street to Coles and Aldi. There were also various takeaway and sit down food options nearby. The property was clean and modern with off-site parking and friendly staff. I would stay here again next time.

Apartment very clean with everything provided that you could possibly want. Reception staff very helpful. The suites were in a very nice neighbourhood in Sydney, very safe and clean. Shops, Bars and bus only 4 mins walk away. Would highly recommend.

I booked this to work at Sydney uni as everywhere was booked out or too expensive. Meriton is a little further way but still accessible. Great local restaurants. Accessing he apartment was a little inconvenient in having to walk outside and around the block but the apartment was very comfortable. I will return.

Beautiful one bedroom modern suite, spacious and clean. Bathroom and bedroom were upstairs with a large bathtub. A small laundry and plenty of storage spaces with a walk in wardrobe and a storage cupboard under the stairs. Beautiful view looking over Moore Park and well located for the needed locations. Lovely place to stay and walking distance to the Hordern Pavillion. The room was very spacious and nice. We had no toilet paper and stood on a couple of small pieces of glass on the floor so not convinced it had been cleaned properly.
