At Bastion Hotel Barendrecht, travellers describe a practical stopover with comfortable beds, but note small bathrooms, inconsistent cleanliness (dust, odors, under-bed debris), mixed breakfast quality, and tight parking in an industrial setting that feels less appealing.

We will never stay at Bastion Hotels again. There was a dirty smell on the carpet in the hall way. The room had poor lighting. The shower head broke and came off. The cost of the breakfast was excessive and for the cost there was little selection. We have had a free breakfast at other locations. We did have free parking. The entrance to the hotel was hard to navigate with steep narrow steps up to the door. The hotel was fenced off due to construction. The best thing was the friendly pleasant staff. It is the management and cleanliness that caused us to never want to stay there again. And the cot of the breakfast was too high!

Nice hotel, rooms really comfy but to far out from the town centre.
