Check-in was friendly and quick. We parked in front of the unit so unloading the luggage was easy. The bedroom and bathroom were both fairly large and comfortable. The sliding glass door gave us a great view of the "mountains". Beautiful Spring colors. It was a short drive to town for dinner. There is a variety of restaurants so we were able to find one that was just right for us. We also enjoyed a stop in the country store. At check-in, we were asked to pre-order breakfast from a list of Continental breakfast items and to list a pick-up time. In the morning, we walked to the breakfast room and were greeted by the attendant. We found trays with our breakfast selections waiting for us. In addition, we had some yogurt and fresh coffee. The breakfast room was quite comfortable so we stayed there to eat.. A very satisfying breakfast. Overall, a very pleasant, relaxing stay.

Room was clean and very comfy. Loved the back deck and easy parking. Everything worked...small, quiet refrigerator, etc. Property was very pretty and well maintained. Downsides were one entrance/exit is on a hill/curve and you cannot see oncoming vehicles. They should prob close that one off for safety. Breakfast was not great (weak coffee, plastic utensils...) but servers were nice. Pool was under maintenance.

We were in town for a wedding and the location was perfect! The views were beautiful! We had a family suite with 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, a large living/dining combination and fireplace that more than met our needs. The in-ground pool was delightful too! The accommodations could use some refreshing and new slider doors and screens. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Would we stay here again? Yes we would!

Nice size room, park outside your door- very convenient. The grounds are beautiful with beautiful views. Nice prevent deck. Can purchase tickets in the office for the Hildene museum at a discount. Staff very pleasant!

Very nice place in lovely Manchester. Picked the hotel because it has pool and the kids love that, especially when it is as hot as it was this day. But we were told that the pool pump was broken since several days and the front desk didn’t seem to care at all about it or that we were disappointed. Not so serviceminded. Room and breakfast nice though.

My husband and I stayed for a long weekend. The room was clean, comfortable and had a patio overlooking the mountains. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept very well. The town is about a mile from the lodge and very walkable. Lots of boutiques and restaurants, coffee shops and a wonderful HUGE independent bookstore. The people were lovely. The lodge staff was attentive. Turndown service every day. Clean towels. Tv channels are very limited but we didn’t stay in the room much. The room itself was clean and cozy. Could stand a little updating but was perfectly serviceable.

The hotel location was great! Beautiful views and quiet. The room was clean. The bathroom was old, had rust and some mold. And the toilet didn’t flush well. Definitely needs an update.

The place was cozy, comfortable and clean. The only thing that I did not like was that my room was up against some sort of control room. Not sure what it was, however, I awoke during the night and the humming sound from this room kept me awake. However, not a deal breaker, definitely recommend this place. The location is perfect. I hope to return again this year.

Love this motel.... Late 50's motel but with modern updates and very clean and safe. Only negative was the spotty internet service. That is a minor thing and issue throughout Vermont. Manchester View was especially welcome to me as had been in a less than ideal situation 2 nights before. Thanks again

The location is convenient and while the Manchester area is pricey, I don’t think the property is worth what we paid. The decor is dated (in my opinion-others might say “quaint”. The air conditioning unit was very noisy. The breakfast was passable.

Wow, what a beautiful setting at the Manchester View. We were in Room 121, which had a great view of the area's mountains from our spacious balcony. The properly was clean, quiet, and relaxing. We didn't have breakfast, but we did walk over to the breakfast room to grab coffee & muffins for the road. All were excellent. Check-in/out was friendly, quick, and easy. The location 2 miles outside of the busy downtown Manchester area was ideal. Really excellent, all-around. We'll be back!

We enjoyed our stay. The location provided a beautiful view of the mountains and was close to downtown. The staff were wonderful and very informative about the area. The continental breakfast was good. You do have to place your orders the day before for the time you will pick up the breakfast. We would stay again.

Not my first stay here. Beautiful room, very clean and comfortable. Only a 3 min drive into the town center but far enough out to be incredibly peaceful. Gorgeous views from all parts of the property. I got to check in 3 hours early unannounced. Would highly recommend

Fabulous hotel – huge room, comfortable bed, good facilities, fantastic view. Wonderful reception staff and breakfast lady and a substantial carbohydrate based breakfast but no gluten-free bagels or bread offered. I was a bit surprised that when I messaged ahead of time to enquire about gluten-free food because I’m coeliac I was summarily informed without apology that the hotel does not cater for specific diets! There was fruit and (very sweet) yoghurts but even if they had just provided some boiled eggs, it would have helped. If it were not for this, I would have happily given this hotel the highest marks.

We had a great time here for a long weekend away. We were only a couple miles from downtown Manchester and about 25 min away from Stratton Mountain. The only thing I wish about this place was that breakfast was provided earlier than 8am. I would definitely come back!

Nice little room just north of the middle of Manchester. Friendly check-in and check-out (though smoke smell in lobby) and very friendly breakfast preparer. We liked the small breakfast with yogurt, freshly made muffin, toasted bagel, coffee, all ready when you say you’ll be there. (You must order your breakfast the night before. No big issue.) Nice enough place.
