Checking was horrible. The staff were unfriendly and slow to respond to minimum request such as bed sheets. There was no parking so I paid a guy outside and I found my car damage the next morning. The room was not set up for 3 as requested and had a horrible view. Overall the dirtiest and the worst hotel I’ve stayed in in my life including poorest countries I’ve visited in Africa and South America. I typically stay at Sofitel or Hyatt but was last minute stop. It looks like the hotel was no updated in 50 years.

This hotel has an acceptable standard, but does not have the qualities you would expect from a 4 star hotel. The rooms are clean and of average standard, but there are few light sources (lamps), and the lamp in our toilet was so weak that we had to use the flashlight/torch on our phones to get enough light. The breakfast was generally good, but the dining hall was very dark. The staff was friendly and helpful. In case you intend to use the fitness room, please be aware that although the room is quite large, it is practically empty. There are no (!) weights, mats or other standard gym equipment. Except for one treadmill, three stationary bikes and a small wall bar, the fitness room is completely empty.

Check in was very very slow we had completed on line check in but had to do it all again and then told to sit down and wait for our name to be called it took 45mins to get the keys! The gym is just a few machines no weights and water broken. The breakfast and pool are perfect and pool staff very helpful. It’s a good location and room was clean although tired compared to pictures and air con could have been better - we had a lovely stay (once we had a key)

There is no parking, only 10 spaces available, reception staff are not helpful, restaurant staff are good, breakfast is not good and not up to Novotel standard, there is no privacy in using the bathrooms, there are no tables next to the beds, towels are old and worn out, and the beds are old and uncomfortable.

The hotel was very well located in the city and was within reasonable walking distance of all the locations I wanted to visit in the city. It was also 10 minutes from the airport and Gare de Marrakesh train station. The hotel was very nice and the room accommodated was lovely, comfortable and spacious. The breakfasts provided by the hotel were lovely with a wide variety of options. All of the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned very day and 2 bottles of water provided each day along with coffee, tea and toiletries. The hotel has a very small gym (cardio equipment) and a large relaxing pool area. If I was returning to Marrakesh I would stay at the hotel again. Thank you.

Es gab zwei Probleme in meinem Zimmer: 1. Die Balkontür schloss nicht richtig. 2. Das Waschbecken tropfte. Nachdem ich dies gemeldet hatte, wurden beide Mängel behoben. Ansonsten waren Frühstück und Sauberkeit in Ordnung. Die Lage des Hotels war ebenfalls gut.

This Hotel was a very bad experience. It was not clean at all (especially my bed), it is badly managed, the air condition is not working properly, the shower was not working and many things more. Simply a very bad hotel and it should not carry the name Novotel.

4.1/5 from me. Good, standard business style hotel. Rooms are quite large. Separate toilet and bathroom. In the bathroom, I had a bath and a separate shower. Pool area is nice with comfortable seating and shade. Location is great near lots of lounges, clubs and restaurants. Fast Wi-Fi. Very good room service and everything can be ordered from the restaurant. Comfortable bed. Negatives: no chairs on the balcony and room a little like an office with grey carpet and furniture, etc. Recommended.

In such a prestige area hivernage, rooms are poor and the whole hotel needs updating, as an international brand this does not meet the standards of other novotels across the world. Toilet is separate to main bathroom. Rooms are poorly outdated and bland no toothpaste provided, this is a 3 star hotel at max, I paid £324 for 3 nights it was only worth £150, I’ve stayed in ibis hotels which are much cheaper and better. Very poor

A tired basic hotel, the rooms are a good size, bed is comfortable, bed sofa is lumpy and unusable for sitting or sleeping, the toilet is tiny and claustrophobic and really dark as the lighting is dark,the bathroom is not good, the basin is tiny, the shower cubicle is small and the bathroom is really poorly lit, the lighting is terrible. The reception staff are excellent 👍 5⭐️,the cleaning ladies are fantastic 5⭐️the breakfast staff are fantastic 5⭐️and the security staff ishmael and the others are fantastic 5⭐️

The staff at this hotel were wonderful and really added to the experience of staying there. Reception staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to help. The hotel's location is brilliant for exploring the city and many attractions are within easy walking distance. There are also many decent restaurants close by. The rooms at the hotel are a good size and have a degree of comfort but are extremely dated and in need of refurbishment. The bathroom had a separate bath and shower and hot water was plentiful. The bed was very comfortable, there were only two pillows however and both were in need of replacement. There was a kettle and microwave in the room and teabags and sachets of coffee were provided but no creamer which I found strange. The gym was spacious but has no fixed or free weights and the cross trainer is in need of repair. The pool area was very clean and had plenty of furniture for guests to use and this included parasols. The pool bar was very clean and there was a good selection of drinks and a decent lunchtime menu. Breakfast was buffet style and available from 7am. There was a huge range of choice and of a high quality. I really enjoyed my stay and the hotel provided value for money.

I have been coming and going from Marrakech more than 30 times now and have never been so disappointed ! The customer service at reception was absolutely atrocious ! The lady at front desk just disregarded a few of us like we were from the jungle. Arrived early cool so no problem waiting until 3pm but people were arriving after me and being checked in ? She just kept on asking me to sit and wait there’s loads of people here I said that’s fine but they have not been here before me ? Straight disregard ! Wow then to top it off the room was terrible . No air conditioning in the room it looked mad tidy the room needs crazy upgrading ! Room 303 by the way the fridge was not working I mean wow I’ve never put a review but this just had to be done ! I have been coming and going from Marrakech more than 30 times now and have never been so disappointed ! The customer service at reception was absolutely atrocious ! The lady at front desk just disregarded a few of us like we were from the jungle. Arrived early cool so no problem waiting until 3pm but people were arriving after me and being checked in ? She just kept on asking me to sit and wait there’s loads of people here I said that’s fine but they have not been here before me ? Straight disregard ! Wow then to top it off the room was terrible . No air conditioning in the room it looked mad tidy the room needs crazy upgrading ! Room 303 by the way the fridge was not working I mean wow I’ve never put a review but this just had to be done ! Si un Marocain arrive avec une requête à la réception pendant votre check-in ou si un coup de téléphone entrant en langue arabe se présente et bien vous, le client, vous attendez.....!! Ceci n' est pas absolument pas normal pour un établissement de ce groupe français de renommée mondiale. Le petit déjeuner est satisfaisant en terme de proposition de produits. Par contre la carcasse proposée n'est absolument pas adapté. La chambre est correcte avec bien évidemment les imperfections locales quant à la qualité de l'entretien du matériel.

The staff at the hotel were all excellent and helpful, from the reception to the restaurant, poolside and the cleaning crew. I would say the decor is a bit tired, there needs to be more staff on reception at check in time as there only ever seems to be one. I had to queue for 30 mins which after a long and delayed journey was not a great experience. Also there was a planned power outage one day of the stay, it appears there were signs up mentioning this however they were in French which I don’t speak. It would have been helpful to have been notified in another way so we could have planned around it.

Check in was very very slow we had completed on line check in but had to do it all again and then told to sit down and wait for our name to be called it took 45mins to get the keys! The gym is just a few machines no weights and water broken. The breakfast and pool are perfect and pool staff very helpful. It’s a good location and room was clean although tired compared to pictures and air con could have been better - we had a lovely stay (once we had a key)

Het hotel ligt op een goede plek. Er zijn trendy restaurants in de buurt en het is maar 15 minuten lopen naar de Medina. Ook met de auto is het hotel eenvoudig te bereiken. Je kan voor het hotel parkeren of in de parkeergarage. De receptioniste is niet vriendelijk en niet behulpzaam. Alle Marokkaanse medewerkers zijn top! Echter de Franse medewerkers in het hotel zijn niet behulpzaam en onvriendelijk.

Everything was in good working order, in what I think was the best area to stay in Marrakech. The location in Hivernage is very good with easy access to both the Medina and Gueliz. The room was clean and spacious and the service excellent, the team made me feel super welcome from the security at the entrance to the front desk, the bar and the restaurant.

There is no parking, only 10 spaces available, reception staff are not helpful, restaurant staff are good, breakfast is not good and not up to Novotel standard, there is no privacy in using the bathrooms, there are no tables next to the beds, towels are old and worn out, and the beds are old and uncomfortable.

Hotel tres moyen . Pas de clim a la réception qui est catastrophique. Les réceptionnistes st paresseux. Chambre propre mais bruyante. Le pdj pas terrible du tout .pas de jus d'orange mais une boisson chimique. Pour une chambre a 120 euros ! Fauteuils cassés a la réception. L'emplacement est bon. C est le seul avantage.. A déconseiller. Cher pour pas grand chose. On m a refusé une photocopie. Il faut remplir a la main la fiche d arrivee. Honteux!

The staff at this hotel were wonderful and really added to the experience of staying there. Reception staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to help. The hotel's location is brilliant for exploring the city and many attractions are within easy walking distance. There are also many decent restaurants close by. The rooms at the hotel are a good size and have a degree of comfort but are extremely dated and in need of refurbishment. The bathroom had a separate bath and shower and hot water was plentiful. The bed was very comfortable, there were only two pillows however and both were in need of replacement. There was a kettle and microwave in the room and teabags and sachets of coffee were provided but no creamer which I found strange. The gym was spacious but has no fixed or free weights and the cross trainer is in need of repair. The pool area was very clean and had plenty of furniture for guests to use and this included parasols. The pool bar was very clean and there was a good selection of drinks and a decent lunchtime menu. Breakfast was buffet style and available from 7am. There was a huge range of choice and of a high quality. I really enjoyed my stay and the hotel provided value for money.

The hotel was very well located in the city and was within reasonable walking distance of all the locations I wanted to visit in the city. It was also 10 minutes from the airport and Gare de Marrakesh train station. The hotel was very nice and the room accommodated was lovely, comfortable and spacious. The breakfasts provided by the hotel were lovely with a wide variety of options. All of the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned very day and 2 bottles of water provided each day along with coffee, tea and toiletries. The hotel has a very small gym (cardio equipment) and a large relaxing pool area. If I was returning to Marrakesh I would stay at the hotel again. Thank you.
