Hampton Inn Branson - Branson Hills

Checkin was quick and the staff was amazing. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were really clean especially the bathroom which is refreshing. Lots of choices at breakfast including waffles, eggs, sausage, potatoes, and oats. Really nice pool area and exercise room too.

it was a good stay with an amazing breakfast, my only complaint was the pool was down and we couldnt swim the whole time we were there which was dissapointing.

I stayed in room 416, as soon as I walked in was hit with a terrible odor of urine. It was late and after a funeral so I was too tired to go move rooms. Anyone walking into that room would immediately notice the odor, why the staff continues to not address it and actively rents out the room is inexcusable and just points to a lack of proactive management of the rooms. The AC also did not work well so the room was muggy even thought the temp when I walked in was 68 degrees. On top of this the pillows in the room smelled disgusting, every time I moved my head I got a smell of an old gross stinky pillow, I tried all of them and they all smelled. This hotel is a mid tier hotel and I had a very low tier cheap motel experience, not even close to the value of the room cost. Clearly someone is not staying on top of cleanliness or they have pretty low standards. I definitely will not be staying here again. I also had my small dog with me and when I booked the hotel on a third party site, there was zero mention of a $75 non refundable pet fee. I'm fine paying a pet fee but don't appreciate the fee not being clear up front. When I mentioned they said it's not their responsibility. I do think if you elect to sell your rooms with a third party you should be responsible to ensure costs are effectively communicated to customers. So all in all I way overpaid to be in a swampy room that reeked like urine and slept on dingy old pillows. The experience was gross.

Seemed quiet and safe. Staff was super friendly! Great place to go if traveling with pets.

The only complaint I have is the first night. Whoever was on staff at the front desk.Was very snappy and rude. I asked a simple question about the pool and got a very snappy rude response. Also, it would have been nice to have been able to swim on sunday, but the pool was closed. Everything else about our stay wass five star.

Nice place to stay! Only Down fall is the pool was out of service a big let down, we was waiting to swim after a long Day at silver Dollar city. In my view if no pool is available you should receive a discount !

The minute I walked in I felt comfortable. Drinks and store options, friendly. The other hotels didn’t have amenities available when customers wanted them. Shut early opened early.

The hotel is close to shopping areas and a few minutes from the highway which is a plus. However, while the main parts of the hotel are clean, the rooms need updated and deep cleaning. The bathroom is dirty, especially around the shower. The comforter was worn out, rough, and not comfortable to sleep. The blinds they have in the room do not cover the light from entering the room. The way that the beds are set up the light comes through the side of the blinds and reflects off the mirror straight into your face while your sleeping. Good luck sleeping in past sunrise. The breakfast was good. Overall I was pretty dissatisfied with the condition of the room especially for the price I had paid.

Bathroom shower was dirty. Hair, gunk and black mold. The entire shower needs replacing. The manager did compensate us. We appreciated that.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room and common areas were clean. Only issue was a noisy a/c unit and a toilet that flushed only when you held the handle down. I’d have no hesitation staying there again.

In the bathroom corner the wall paper was hanging. Our room was right next to the ice machine room so we heard that off and on. I have stayed at this hotel years ago and everything was great back then but this time around was not so great. I don't think I would come back.

I could tell either the room hasn’t been used or the staff doesn’t dust. I drew a heart in the bathroom on the towel shelf. Made me wonder about the rest if the room.

Staff very nice. I requested a handicap accessible room. Room had grab bars but no walk in/roll in shower. The bed was terrible. It was worn out to the point you could feel springs making hard spots. Since having extensive back surgery the condition was horrible.

Quiet location. Worn furniture. Soft mattress. Not up to Hilton Standards at off season rate.

Everything was great except for one problem. No hot water. It was supposedly fixed but our second night it still barely reached a warm setting.

Was relatively clean, as far as maid service capability, but needs some upgrading! Also, we stayed in a corner room for quiet and the hot water took FOREVER TO REACH us !!! Lukewarm to cool shower is not acceptable! The first night, I just chalked it up to a full house, because it was spring break, the second night, was worse! No maintenance on site!! When addressed by calling that evening, evidently they were aware of the problem, and just said let it run for awhile?????? This is after we had already frozen. We addressed at checkout, the front desk lady got snarky with me about it! And I retorted! That if they already knew about the issue! Then whey haven’t they resolved it!? HOT WATER is pretty important when you’re staying in a hotel! Or a LEAST! Tell the consumer at check in that they need to let the water run A WHILE!!!! for it to get hot!!! All that being said, no discount was offered to reciprocate! Never again !! This hotel is black listed !

Friendly staff, clean rooms. Breakfast was okay. Beds felt like they were full-size beds instead of queen size beds they felt small not very comfortable. AC took a while to get cold and very loud.

Not a horrible place, we have seen worse, one could get by for a night. The rooms smelled very stuffy and there was no ventilation, with young kids we had to cancel the second night since we could not breath comfortably. The tub drain was blocked so we had to switch rooms, the second ine did nit smell any better. Definitely nothing close to the ratings this place has, the reality is that this place ranks at 3/5 stars at its best.

Peggy was our host. She had just come to work. She had apparently inherited a mess from the previous shift. Problems with the key maker/reservations. She actually took us to our room. Thank goodness. Someone else had left items in there. She called the manager and I think it eventually got better. She had a lobby full of folks at 4pm and one was extremely rude to her. I felt like she took one for the team. Shame on the previous shift/mgt for running your business this way. Our room is good. Thank you Peggy.

Staff was very, very helpful with a reservation problem!!!

Upon checkin I was put into a room next to another guest that was loud and out of control. They were repeatedly shouting expletives and banging on the walls. I notified the front desk, they attempted to call the guests room, but with no answer they did nothing. It continued on for 4 hours, which took us well past quiet hours. I went to the front desk to ask them to take care of the issue and the only employee onsite felt uncomfortable approaching the guest about their behavior. I then asked if she was unable to do anything that we just be moved to another room. It was approaching midnight and I needed rest. She found another room and told me that it would be a simple move down the hallway. There was no mention of additional cost!! I would not have moved rooms had I known there was a cost. I would have insisted the unruly guest be taken care of. This is unacceptable and will be escalated.

Overall, it was a nice hotel however I did not feel it was worth spending 195$ per night for this. POSITIVES: 1. Front desk staff were excellent (5/5) 2. Breakfast buffet was excellent & my kids loved it (5/5) 3. Texting service was very convenient (5/5) 4. Location, Convenience, Surroundings - - - >Excellent (5/5) Negatives : 1. Relatively old property with lot of things needing update like toilet with poor flush, Shower head (malfunctioned), pillows, Old microwave, old carpet. 2. High price point.

Great property. Check in staff was wonderful. Property was very nice and my go too location when visiting Branson. Do yourself a favor and stay at Branson Hills Hampton.
