Our stay at this hotel was good enough. The staff was friendly and helpful. The price was ok. The coffee was good. But there were several little things that started mounting up. I’ll list in order of noticing… Stains on the carpet. Unattractive and unattended. Toilet was leaking. Water on floor around base. Pool deck was dirty. Water cloudy. Wads of hair around pool and in the water. Eeww! Shampoo pump didn’t work. Locked bottles didn’t allow access. HVAC unit was really loud. Ran out of toilet paper (one night stay). No back up. Breakfast was not very well stocked. An hour before closing up, I had to ask for more coffee, more bacon, more scrambled eggs, more pancake mix… As I said, the staff was friendly and helpful and responded to our need for shampoo and TP, and said “thanks” for letting them know about the leaking toilet. They also restocked the breakfast items as they were able(?). I will say the beds were very comfy! Not sure I would choose this hotel again.

Room was not ready said to come bak in half hour came back still not ready came back again and was told only room left is on 3rd floor and the elevator was broke. My wife has bad knee had to walk up 40 stairs

The lobby is newly remodeled and looks great! The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, and pillows were great. The breakfast was very good also! After two other hotel stays in Anderson, this was a great stay! The hotel clerk was very friendly and helpful. When I go back to Anderson, if I need a hotel it will be here. They are also renovating all the rooms. We didn't get a renovated room, but it was still clean and nice. It was alsona great price! The other 2 hotels were more expensive.

Worst part is the elevator doesn't work. Hopefully that will be fixed ASAP. Rooms weren't ready when guests were arriving to check in. The breakfast was excellent. Hotel guests were friendly, the bed was very comfortable!!

My first room, rm 216 was great but the tv didn't work so I was moved to 306. This room had badly stained carpet, peeling wallpaper likely due to water and black mold on the bathroom wall. The drawer kept opening on the tv console. Other than that, the lobby, breakfast, hallways were nice.

Our stay was an over night stop on our way to visit family. It was our sons' first stays in a hotel and they had a blast. My only complaint was that the room could have been cleaned a little more thoroughly. The bathroom had some hair left in the shower, easily wiped out, and the ceiling had some built up dirt moisture spots. It just needs a good ceiling wipe down. Also the room could have had a more thorough vacuum. Nothing major, we still enjoyed ourselves. Breakfast in the morning was nice.

We originally rented room 218 a suit with a jacuzzi tub. Hairballs & a few other things came out of the jets, serious lime build up on all faucets. The air in master bathroom didn’t work. They ended up moving us to RM 223 that was full of mold. The air actually quit working in this room a few hours after we got settled. Had we both not of had a couple drinks we would have just drove home. Front desk gave us a $40 discount the next morning which technically wasn’t a discount just the cost difference between the two different rooms. This is not your typical you pay for what you get situation the suite cost us almost $200. We didn’t eat breakfast there so not sure how it was.

Liked the location and shopping and dining so close. Beds were little messy and the bath tub was not clean. Could have used an eraser to clean the dark spot on bottom of tub and looked like maybe start of mold around the edge of tub that could have been cleaned off. This was the first holiday inn express I had been in that wasn’t beyond expectations. Workers were very friendly though. Bed sheets were clean and no bugs so we stayed!!

The staff members in this hotel were pleasant and helpful. We were greeted promptly, politely and given adequate directions to find our way around the hotel. The breakfast was very nice and the staff member serving it was accommodating. However, upon arrival, I went to my room and noticed what appeared to be tomato soup spilled on the door handle and door. Cleaning it off, it did indeed look like tomato soup. The bathroom appeared to be not cleaned at all. A necklace had been left on the counter, making it look like the counter had not been wiped down. The bathtub was slick and seemed oily. The carpet in the room was very stained, there were cigarette burns on the curtains and the surfaces had not been wiped off. The gardens on the grounds were full of weeds and not kept up at all. The elevator was in need of a good cleaning as was the pool. This was a very disappointing experience.

The parking lot had several lights that were not working - very dark when we returned in the evening from an event. Our room was clean (linens, etc); however, I think the rest of the room could be updated - no ports to plug in our electronics. But, overall, a good experience and would stay here again.

Mixed feelings about this one. Pool was shut down for maintenance and elevator was broken. We were only on second floor so no big deal. Room furnishings were worn and stained. Nice staff and quiet, no hi way noise. Just has an old and tired feel to it.

Staff was very friendly. Peephole had tissue shoved in it so it wasn't usable. The walls/ceiling seemed very thin as I could hear the people running up and down the hall and the people above sounded as if they had a mini horse staying with them. The room was nice and clean. The elevator was not in order, as I found out upon check in. Thankfully I only had one flight of stairs. I would stay here again if in the area.

Room was nice. The hot tub had hair flowing in it that wasn’t ours. Bed was comfy, pillows could be better. Biggest thing was the ac didnt work and we were hot all night.

I think these rooms just need to be updated. The lobby was nice but the elevator and rooms need some updating. Like in the rooms there was no plug in usb or otherwise at the nightstands beside the bed, most of us use cell phones and use them as alarm clocks or just to check things. There were no plugs to be able to do that. Just needs more modernization for today’s lifestyles. Staff was fantastic! You have great people!!

Our stay here was amazing! My sister and I were traveling across the country with six kids and looking for a safe clean place to stop overnight. This hotel was perfect! They upgraded us to a family suite that was extremely clean and so cozy! They had a great breakfast for all of our kids and just all around had great customer service. The whole experience meant a lot to us!

I booked this room for my son and daughter-in-law so they could get away from the kids for their wedding anniversary. I had a special request to decorate before their arrival, and although check-in time had changed from 3pm to 4pm, they not only honored the 3pm check-in time, but also worked with us and let us decorate before they arrived. The couple was Very satisfied with all aspects of their stay, and I am very pleased with the outcome. Recommended.

We arrived at 5 o’clock and was told our room still wasn’t cleaned and ready. The swimming pool was down as well. The door to our room would not close completely and the toilet wouldn’t work properly. The breakfast was good though

We requested a bar by the tub to get in & out easier manager said there wasn’t one but when we got in the room there was. Pull down the covers & the was poop on the sheet. Went down & asked them to change it she handed me the sheets so I said do I get a discount for doing your job. She said she’ll be up in a minute she came & I helped her change the sheets. Breakfast is 6:30-9:30 we went down 8:40 there was no food. No bacon,sausage , eggs, no cinnamon rolls, there was 2 biscuits & the gravy had a crust all around the top had not been stir for awhile. We ended up going out somewhere. Also the hair dryer didn’t work. Would not recommend this hotel.
