Can’t comment on staff/service as I arrived after hours but I was given really clear instructions about how to access my room. A pleasant stay, in an old building, with a lot of history, and very easy parking. My only slight gripe is that my ‘window’ was onto a ventilation shaft so it did feel a little dark and claustrophobic. Wouldn’t have stayed in that particular room if that had been made clear on the booking page.

Check in was quick and easy. Super cute and charming. We loved the "vintage" aesthetic. Would 100% return if in the area again. Parking is in a small, rocky parking lot behind the hotel that can be a little tough to navigate when full. Though, this area is reserved specifically for hotel guests, which was nice given the fact that the hotel is in a busy downtown area.

Quaint property in the heart of Williams, AZ. Very central to diners, shopping, activities and the interstate. Property has historic charm, cute library, good continental breakfast and the staff is extremely nice and accommodating. Keep in mind it is still being retired so there is some minor construction going on in some areas.

Well maintained historical property. The staff is friendly and continental breakfast is a plus. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and Grand Canyon Railway. Rooms are small, but you can stretch out in the lobby. If technology and modern comforts are your thing, this hotel is not a match. Stairs are a barrier for those with mobility challenges.

Charming hotel right in the heart of Route 66. Contacted the hotel to let them be aware of a late check in and they were more than accommodating. Still under construction to bring it to up to date but keep the late 1800's to early 1900's vibe. Comfortable beds and clean rooms. No tv 's in the rooms and it was a non issue. Would stay there again 110% as the front desk woman was extremely knowledgeable about the hotel and town of Williams. Kinda like a tour guide for a hotel. Nice to get away from the Chain style hotels

This hotel is a beautifully remodelled historic hotel. It has been kept in excellent shape. The main lobby/gathering area is inviting and there is even a library. We will return on our next trip to the Grand Canyon.

Parking is limited and has no elevator so be prepared if bringing a heavy bag..the room is very clean, nice with old flare which I love. Small breakfast and very nice staff.

The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-designed. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our stay incredibly enjoyable. We stayed in the carriage house which was so comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and much appreciated.

Continental breakfast was unhealthy, limited choices. Sweetened yogurt only. High fat pastries. Nothing healthy to eat except a few pieces of fruit. The room was ok except that the toilet and shower area were in an area with an outside door that was not insulated, so it was very cold. There was a large dead bug in the sheets that our companions were staying in and the front desk was not at all surprised.

It was noisy inside and out until about 10:30pm. Hair on bathroom floor. Pillows were all too big. Wallpaper was peeling, lamps were too bright, shower caddy fell off the wall. Manager was great. I appreciate that it was an old hotel and the owners are in the process of restoring it

Cute little hotel with quirks, we stayed in the loft room which is a small but fun room. Staff was courteous and helpful, our room was clean and everything worked as expected. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of all the little shops and restaurants in Williams.

In love!!! The cleanliness and esthetic of this hotel is unmatched! I went around taking pictures to help with our home remodel because let me tell you not a detail was missed in this hotel, every corner, every light every rug was well thought out! Our room was on the smaller size but felt grand and large with the color palette and tall ceilings. The bathroom shower is legendary! We stay in older hotels often because we love the history of them, alot of them have been in northern Az and this one is a must stay! We cannot wait to come back this December with our family! If you are thinking of staying here, do it! The hotel staff and accommodations are hard to beat.

Room was spotless, clean and the staff was very friendly. The only complaint I have is regarding the breakfast as it was nothing but muffins, pastries, cereal with mil and orange juice to drink. I was hoping for more of a hot breakfast but overall, the stay was pleasant.

Charming 120 yr old hotel. Very small rooms. Very noisy room. Air conditioner from the hardware store was inadequate. Breakfast was Sam's club yogurt cereal and Sam's club muffins. Inconvenient parking. Clean though.

Our room was big enough for 4 people it had 2 rooms and each room had a tv. The room was clean bright and roomy. Very cute!! My only complaint hwould be is that the extra room needed a chair.

Beautiful restored Victorian hotel right on the Main Street of town on Route 66. A light buffet breakfast is available and included in the room rate, and served each morning in the lobby. Staff are friendly but only work peak check-in and check-out / breakfast hours. Outside of this guests can check in via the internet to receive their room code which also serves to open hotel doors front and back. There is a small parking lot for hotel guests around the back. Rooms are small and adequate - just as they were 100 years ago and each has a modern en-suite that has been recently updated. High ceilings and creepy wooden floors - sloped in many places as floors and the building has settled over the century adds character to the place. So beware when you are walking down the hall at a slight angle that its not the result of the 3 martini lunch. Rooms are basic but adequate. Rooms that face the street can be a bit noisy in the early evening with traffic and trains but the window mini AC unit drowns out much of the noise. Beds, mattresses, sheets and furnishings were all lovely and very comfortable. Bathrooms clean and newly refurbished.

This historic hotel was just that. The room was small but very nice, the shower was awesome and though there was no A/C, cracking the window provided us with plenty of cool air. I would definitely stay here again.

The front desk was delightful. The rooms were clean & comfortable, but the rain shower didn't work. I would also be nice to have a small chair in each room. The breakfast pastries were frozen, so not so good. It would be nice to have some low calorie yogurt. There was a great event of teaching line dancing which we didn't attend but could hear everyone enjoying themselves. Loved the overall experience and would recommend this hotel to others.

We had a wonderful time staying at this historic hotel. The bed was comfortable and the staff was super nice. The ac didn’t quite keep up with the room/heat so it was a little warm for our tastes, but overall a great experience. Parking was difficult, so arrive close to check in if you can.

Such a neat hotel that felt like being back in the early 1900s but with modern amenities and updated antique-style plumbing. Bed was very comfortable and the staff were so helpful before and during my stay. Even though I could hear others in the hallway pretty easily at night, they had provided disposable earplugs in my room just in case. At least a half a dozen restaurants within a 33-minute walk of the hotel. Really cool town/location and only an hour south of the Grand Canyon.

My stay at the Historic Grand Canyon Hotel was wonderful! The new owners clearly prioritize making guests' experiences seamless and enjoyable. Communication was excellent—I received detailed emails and texts about what to expect, parking, and even a digital Customer Agreement to e-sign, making check-in a breeze. As expected, the small hotel lot was full, but their guidance made parking on 2nd Street hassle-free. My room was spotless, with a comfy bed, thoughtful touches like makeup wipes, and even a black washcloth for makeup removal. They confirmed details ahead of time (no view, skylight atrium, no TV) to ensure there were no surprises. Entry via code was super convenient—no lost keys! My only gripe? The soundproofing could be better (but the hotel is 100 years old); I could hear neighbors’ conversations, and not everyone respected quiet hours. The train horns are audible, but they’re part of the charm. And guess what? Ear plugs were provided! I just turned on my white noise on my phone and slept well. They also had a link where you could pre-order items and even leave the hospitality staff a tip (which is awesome because I never have cash). We arrived late but the entry instructions were perfect. Lovely older hotel with a 19th century vibe, the library at the back is a really nice room to relax in. Staff were very helpful with our car woes. Would definitely recommend.

This is a local family owned hotel. If you want a great, historic experience to include outstanding service - this is your place. It’s close to everything downtown Williams and the staff was fantastic. We were thrilled also to take a break from technology and enjoy family time.

The check in was hectic only due to front desk office hours, ans then they have phone number to call with urgent issues which you leave on voice mail but NO ONE answers or replies. Tried several times with no luck.

Beautiful historic hotel!! Staff was very friendly and informative!! The hotel remains true to its history, and it right smack in the middle of Williams’ Route 66 section, and is very walkable!! Would stay there again in a heartbeat!!

Cute little hotel with quirks, we stayed in the loft room which is a small but fun room. Staff was courteous and helpful, our room was clean and everything worked as expected. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of all the little shops and restaurants in Williams.

Stopped overnight prior to heading to the Grand Canyon. Enjoyed Williams and this hotel is very centrally located. Very good art gallery next door. Wonderful dining within one block. Would stay here again. Very comfortable and the room was large.

We loved our stay here! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a more unique stay than your typical hotel. Charming and loved the historic feel. Also loved how convenient it was to walk to restaurants, shopping, etc. Front desk staff was very friendly

The hotel was very convenient to the train that takes you up to the Grand Canyon and restaurants. Staff were very friendly. Room was clean and they did a great job with capturing the history I think.

Charming 120 yr old hotel. Very small rooms. Very noisy room. Air conditioner from the hardware store was inadequate. Breakfast was Sam's club yogurt cereal and Sam's club muffins. Inconvenient parking. Clean though.

Continental breakfast was unhealthy, limited choices. Sweetened yogurt only. High fat pastries. Nothing healthy to eat except a few pieces of fruit. The room was ok except that the toilet and shower area were in an area with an outside door that was not insulated, so it was very cold. There was a large dead bug in the sheets that our companions were staying in and the front desk was not at all surprised.

This is a lovely historic hotel. The location is perfect. You can walk to most of the restaurants. Our only recommendation is to present a better continental breakfast. It was underwhelming. It would be easy to upgrade. Good quality pastries, a basket of better quality croissants, fresher fruit. The muffins they served were from warehouse stores. They weren’t horrible, but not enticing. We will recommend this hotel. It is unique in the world of mediocre and bland lodging!

Stayed in the cottage building behind main hotel. Nice quaint room. Staff was helpful in providing an extra rollaway bed. Very small bathroom that had door to outside alley 😱 More breakfast items with fresher pastries would be nice....

Parking is limited and has no elevator so be prepared if bringing a heavy bag..the room is very clean, nice with old flare which I love. Small breakfast and very nice staff.

Room was spotless, clean and the staff was very friendly. The only complaint I have is regarding the breakfast as it was nothing but muffins, pastries, cereal with mil and orange juice to drink. I was hoping for more of a hot breakfast but overall, the stay was pleasant.

There's a lot of history at this hotel, felt like sleeping in a museum. Friendly staff, very accommodating, excellent communication, highly recommend staying here. One exception -- not hotel's fault, the trains blast their horns a few times per night, hotel staff has complimentary ear plugs in the room. Continental Breakfast was awesome, fruit basket had great quality fruit as compared to pricier hotel chains.

Room was clean. Fresh towels brought to the room the 2nd day. Organized 4pm check in. Coffee in the lobby in the morning. Breakfast was offered but it was all carbs, plenty of other options to eat in the area.

The common areas of the hotel were top notch. Likewise, the staff we met were terrific. Our room was fine but not of high quality. The bathroom in particular, while clean, was a bit slipshod in its construction. Overall, however, we had a pleasant experience at this hotel and would stay there again if we find ourselves in Williams.
