Hôtel le Chardon Bleu

This hotel is so lovely and hospitable. We really didn’t want to leave but we had already booked another. The owners are so lovely to be around and the atmosphere is family friendly. You feel very comfortable here. It was perfect for the price and the location. Everything is so close and the breakfast was very good. If you don’t want to walk up stairs with your luggage this is one thing to consider but it’s a very easy 3 minutes. The rooms are clean and tidy but the best thing about this hotel is the he hospitality. I have stayed in many hotels and I really felt like this was one I would definitely stay again..

This was such a bad experience that we actually didn’t stay the entire night and i booked another hotel just to get away from here. This hotel is a maze where to get to my room i had to climb multiple stair cases and pass through hallways. And at the end was the tiniest room i ever saw. Also it was stinking in the room. It was definitely not cleaned properly. I lasted all but 30 minutes in there before picking my bag and leaving the hotel for good. I would WARN people to STAY AWAY from this hotel.

We have just spent 6 nights at this lovely family run hotel. The hosts are unbelievably helpful to ensure your stay is perfect. They assisted us with tickets for the ferry to Ste Tropez and made a reservation there for a fabulous restaurant. They provided secure enclosed parking for €25 per day and even escorted me to the local optician for advice on an eye issue which was so helpful. The room had a kettle and fridge which were useful. The host even lent us a plug adapter and a clothes steamer was available if required too! We have stayed in Ste Maxime a dozen times before and stayed at almost every hotel in the area and I can honestly say that this one is one of the best. It has the kindest hosts and it also has a fab location which is a couple of minutes from the beach, restaurants, bars and shops. So do not hesitate to book this one if you are looking for a central location and value for money.

Bra hotel med jättebra läge. Nära till huvudgatan och beachen. Bra frukost i mysig liten trädgård. +++ till värdparet som var supertrevliga och hjälpsamma. Återkommer gärna hit

Fantastic hospitality! This is a gem, close to the beach, restaurants and the cosy town of Sainte-Maxime. Hotelrooms are spacios, clean and is OK decorated. Great bed and wonderful large terrace with access from the room. The homemade breakfast is so tasty and you can enjoy it in the lovely little garden next to the breakfast room. Very personal service and great staff. We even got the recipe for the homemade cake from the hosting couple. We will definetely return the next time we are in town.

I am not paying for this hotel. When I got there there was no reception no way to get a hold of anyone and the room when I entered had bugs flying all on the bed and around. We did not stay so I am not paying

Court séjour convenable avec des hôtes très agréables, Hotel charmant bien place en centre ville, chambre petite et basique pas aussi chaleureuse que la decoration de l entree...une bouilloire mais pas de petits nécessaire tisane cafe tasse etc avec, un bon petit déjeuner sucre mais un peu cher ainsi que l hotel... pour la saison...

Muy básico. El hotel es viejo con falta de mantenimiento, los espacios son excesivamente pequeños, el servicio es muy medido y mediocre. Linda foto de playa en el perfil que no es del hotel, en fin. Poco afán de servicio al cliente. No lo recomiendo.

Le gérant (un monsieur) est horrible est affreux. Sa femme et le staff dont excelentes mais la personnalité du monsieur est absolument horrible. Je choisiserait une autre hôtel la prochaine fois. J’ai payé pour être abusée par le gérant - jamais encore!

Le Chardon Bleu is family owned and ran by the most amazing husband and wife duo. They were extremely welcoming, helpful and accommodating. We truly enjoyed our stay there due to their charismatic energy and sweet demeanor. The area was extremely safe and very walkable with lots to do in the area. Not to mention their puppies who hang in the lobby and greet you when you walk in. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who loves to support small businesses/ family owned businesses. Thank you very much Guillaume for your hospitality. We will definitely be back whenever we return to the South of France.

Accueil chaleureux, emplacement centrall, petit déjeuner buffet avec des produits maison comme la confiture, les cakes, que des atouts pour un séjour agréable.

This is the forth time staying at this magnificent, family owned hotel. They are so welcoming and accommodating. My husband and I felt like family. The breakfast was delicious, some items were home made. The location is fabulous. We could see the ocean from our room. We will come back. Highly recommend.
