The parking lot had not been plowed or salted in a while, and cars were driving and parking in several inches of snow with a layer of ice below it. The room was old and had home-grown patchwork repairs, and just looked beat up. The counters and sink were dirty, and when my wife wiped them down, the white towel came out black. The floor was gritty. TV came on but cable didn’t work — kept saying “No Signal” even after rebooting, etc. Roads were re-freezing, or we would have gone somewhere else. Very disappointed.

everything is adequate. Clean and comfortable. Property maintenance is needed: no pool, parking lot needs replacing etc., but it is fine for a few night stay in Panquitch. Meets all basic needs: beds, shower, refrigerator in room, microwave etc. Manager/owner was very kind to us.

The property had changed names to Econolodge the day prior and we weren't notified of the change. The ice machine was broken. The breakfast was lame. However, the staff were friendly and the room was clean. I hope the name change brings some much needed improvements.

The place is really old and seriously needs an upgrade. The washroom is really dirty that I did not feel comfortable using. The room in general is dirty and has stains everywhere. The location, however, is conveniently located near Bryce Canyon in a small town.

Upon arriving, I couldn’t even turn on the TV. It was dirty and full of bugs\spider webs. The shower curtain looked yellow and nasty. The “free” breakfast was hardly a breakfast, they didn’t even offer creamer for coffee. You get what you pay for I wish I would’ve cancelled and paid more to stay at a better place.

I viewed this booking as a place to sleep that would probably be old, but clean. It was old, but it was NOT clean! The toilet, sinks, and bathroom floors looked like nobody had remembered to try for a while. It wasn't disgusting. Just could have easily been ACTUALLY clean and wasn't! The SOAP DISH on the bathroom counter was gross!

The room initially smelled as if it were clean due to the overpowering smell of cleanser. On closer inspection there was hair all over the floor of the room and bathroom, the sheets were not clean and had hair on them and dirt stains. Pillow cases had dirt stains on them as if they had been dragged on the floor. The bathroom mirror was held up by screws driven into the dry wall, but sticking out about an inch and a half. Definitely a safety risk here. Our door did not have a tight seal around it and you could see light, people’s shadows moving across, and feel air getting through the spaces. The ice making machine room had the most intense cigarette smoke smell ever and you would come out of there smelling of smoke. There weren’t enough seats to accommodate all of the guests for breakfast. The egg pan had water pooling at the bottom of the pan, there was no one to attend the meal area.

On first entering the room the overall appearance did not seem bad. The bedding and sheets were good. It’s just when you started to look closely you could see the neglect. The bathroom was a disaster. There may have been an attempt at painting at some point but done horribly. The counter top back splash edges were unfinished and paint spattered. The bathtub was so old and stained I would not step foot in it. The taps looked like they have never been cleaned. The flooring was filthy and there was garbage on the floor from a prior guest. The TV, microwave and refrigerator did not work. The coffee pot was dirty. I think they had made an attempt to fix this room up with newer bedding and flooring but completely neglected everything else. We were booked for 2 nights but left after one it was just too creepy!

My wife and I stayed at this property for 8 days while we hiked the nearby parks. It was very dirty upon entering the room. I tried to change hotels after the first night, but was unable to because I booked through Expedia. I attempted to go talk to someone at the front desk the next morning at 8an, but the lobby doors were locked. The mirrors were dirty, the toilet was dirty, with a dried puddle of urine at the base of the toilet. There were ants crawling on the bathroom floor every morning. 8 days we stayed and they serviced the room 1 time. My went to the front desk after 3 days to get clean towels and they told her she had to bring the dirty towels to them before we could get clean ones. They came into the room after 7 days and emptied the trash, but did nothing else. The bread they had out for breakfast toast was rock hard and the yogurt was out dated. I was very disappointed in the stay and the property.

The room was much larger than we expected, and was very comfortable. The beds were excellent. The bathroom was a little rough; the toilet kept running unless you lifted the float to shut it off. We were very happy to stay here.

Excellent large room with 2 spacious vanities - one in toilet area and one outside. Good breakfast, especially if you don't come too late. However, Wi-Fi very weak and slow, dropped us repeatedly. One staff member unfriendlyand not overly willilng to be helpful.

I stayed in room 235, hot water in faucet system is no have at the hand washing bowl, only cold water was working. The chain in water supplier bowl for toilet was broken, water came out and never stop all night. Ceiling ventillation fan in bathroom was not working. Wifi weak and drop out many time.

Small but comfortable room. Certainly not luxurious, but everything worked properly and we had a convenient location to attend the Panguitch Valley Balloon Rally for my birthday getaway. Free breakfast with waffle maker, cereal, bread, muffins, juice & coffee. Check-in was very smooth, with no problems booking with my Expedia One Key credits. Appreciate that!

AC didnt work. Front desk said they would come - never came. Room was not very clean. Scheduled to stay 2 nights. No turndown service the 2nd day. We were so fed up, we checked out the 1st day instead of staying another night. On our overall trip, we stayed at 8 different motels. This one was unanimously the worst!!!

Great hotel over all. Good people. Happy to see an actual person in the lobby. :-) The rooms are older and need a little repair. The beds were comfortable. Floors a little dirty, but might just be from the gravel parking lot. Our car broke down just north of town so we had to come back and stay for a few days. The people here helped me find a shop to take the car to and allowed us to extend our stay as needed until the car was fixed.

The bathtub was dirty and not possible to block the water in the tub to bath my kid. Otherwise the location is near Bryce Canyon so it's convenient if you want to make a stop before visiting Bryce Canyon.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while visiting Bryce Canyon. it was very convenient and was located in the historical town of Panguitch. The hotel was very quiet, and there were a couple of restaurants nearby. The owner / manager was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the included breakfast was good. The property is showing its age a bit, especially in the bathroom and could use some renovations, but it served us well for our visit to the area.

If you're just staying the night to visit the National Park, it's adequate. But the general vibe is dilapidated. Dingy cinder block walls, visible pest traps, supplies randomly stored. Breakfast was better than continental, and included waffles, eggs, and sausage. But the batter was runny, the eggs watery, if you came late you were out of luck. There was Directv but no basic channels like the Food Network. You get the idea. It wouldn't take much to make it a nicer stay, but çonsidering how cheap hotels are in Utah, the value just wasn't there. For getting out of a snow storm, it's fine.

The staff were lovely but I have the say the hotel was in terrible condition and very filthy. We arrived late at night so it wasn’t until daylight the next morning that I noticed how dirty things were. The furnishings and fixtures were very banged up and dated (which is unpleasant but I can deal with it), uncleanliness however is unacceptable. Had I seen the state of the place the night before I would have found elsewhere to stay. I did take photos but I don’t think I can upload them here. The breakfast only consisted of the bare minimum; muffins, cereal, waffles and coffee.
