Wonderful relaxing stay, nearly forgot I was working! Definitely go down to the spa, the different saunas are lush and the jacuzzi was great, plus the pool is long enough to get a few lengths in.

Absolutely fantastic stay. Could not fault it. It was a very pleasant surprise as I wasn’t sure what to expect by the photos, but I can honestly say I would gladly stay again. All the facilities were excellent, the spa was amazing, the gym was very good and the outdoor jacuzzi and lounge area were lovely. You’d think you were abroad. I must say I didn’t eat dinner whilst staying, but I did have breakfast which has a very good selection, I had eggs Benedict one morning and traditional English the next. Can’t fault it. The room was spacious and functional with a walk In shower and a very nice bed. At first I thought the £220 a night stay was a little steep, but on reflection it’s 100 percent worth it. Would definitely stay again.

The spa had good facilities, especially the hydropool, but somewhat limited on loungers and chairs. The staff were efficient and friendly. The restaurant lacked ambiance, especially when residents were passing through in their spa robes.We purchased an item from the spa, which was at a higher price than that as advertised in the room. We mentioned this at the time of purchase, but was obviously expected to pay the higher price; this needs to be addressed, especially given Trade Descriptions issues.

All the staff we came across were really friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and well decorated. The big standout is the luxury Spa facilities included in the hotel stay, we were able to use from 3-9pm and again the next day

The spa is good, with a few different sauna rooms available. Breakfast was nice. Outdoor area is great, especially on a nice day. The room was quite noisy due to the proximity to the kitchen. Having to pay £15 for parking we thought was quite steep and usually included in the price of the stay. Please move the smoking area away from the entrance - multiple times we were forced to inhale other people's smoke when entering and exiting.

A wonderful 7 nights at this former country hall hotel on a hilltop overlooking Torquay marina. A couple of initial housekeeping and room quality issues quickly resolved through a room change organised by Leo the duty Manager. Spa facilities are great and my wife had two massages, the small but adequate gym is well equipped. Food in the Brasserie was good and the breakfast service excellent. The hotel staff were very attentive and keen to help. All in all, a very nice and relaxing summer holiday break even if the weather (on this occasion) wasn't that great! Thoroughly recommended .

I had a classic room and although the bathroom was in a bit of disrepair it was clean and had a hot shower over the bath. The bed was clean and comfortable and there was an aircon unit in the bedroom which was a nice touch. The reception and dining area was good. The breakfast had standard buffet options and cooked breakfast menu. They had little shot glass smoothies which I hadn’t seen in other hotels and I thought this was different and nice. The main attraction for me was the pool/spa facilities, they were fantastic! The Himalayan salt room was a highlight, along with the Ice room and the clean loungers, the staff were very friendly and both girls smartly dressed. I would go back to this hotel just to go to this area it was wonderful. The hotel was in walking distance of Torquay town and had plentiful parking on site. Will definitely revisit.

Lovey stay as always. The first room we were allocated was quite dark and smelt damp! (You could tell it had not been in use for a while) the shower room was very basic! We paid £170 for the night so I asked to be moved as I did not feel the room was up to scratch. The receptionist was lovely and moved us straight away. The second room was absolutely fine. The spa was amazing as always! Staff in the bar were very accommodating. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and couldnt do enough for us, 5 ⭐️ service.

First time at the lincombe hotel. Its been a wonderful stay. From our initial registration to leaving today service and staff have been first class. Cleanliness perfect both the room and hotel in all locations. We're are so impressed we've booked a weeks stay in July.

Superb service from every member of staff. Excellent spa facilities, spotlessly clean throughout. Every meal from breakfast to evening meal was wonderful. Some of the staff were in their 20's but showed a level of service well beyond their ages. Great to see traditional standards of service still exist! It was truly a pleasure to stay at Lincombe Hall.

Beautiful historic property renovated to contemporary design. Clean. Decor very tasteful. Everything was wonderful. Spa lovely. Gym small as expected but good use of space and well equipped and very clean. Easy, convenient location. Walk down the hill to town/ Harbour. Would definitely stay there again!

Rating based entirely on the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the fantastic spa facilities. There was work going on while we were there which was a minor inconvenience but the room we stayed in was the real let down. Dated and uncared for. The bathroom was poorly finished and the shower was not the cleanest. The flooring was lifting and squishy in places and the room itself smelt of damp. We ended up using the spa showers in the end which were superb. Scoffs and marks all over the bedroom walls. The terrace was not much to write home about either.

Amazing staff, amazing service, amazing food and amazing spa. Unfortunately our bedroom let it down. It is clear to see that a lot of alterations have been made but we were disappointed with our bedroom which was obviously waiting for refurbishment. We knew the room was not going to be huge as advertised as cosy but you really couldn’t swing it cat. The bathroom was really small too. Both were very tired ( to say the least) and in my opinion shouldn’t be advertised or booked as it really let the hotel ( which could be excellent I guess eventually) down. Having been in this business for many, many years I myself would not risk my hotels reviews be effected. In my opinion we stayed where I could only explain as what it felt like staff quarters.

stayed in room 20 definitely not one off there best room pillows and mattress good do with being changed very small room had to keep blind down as staff was outside on steps right outside the window could do with privacy glass !! hotel it self amazing as always been here 5 times and will definitely be back but not to room 20 !

Not overly impressed. Should have read the reviews first. We had the room with the generator outside the window! Don’t really need to repeat what has already been said in other reviews Breakfast was very disappointing, looked anemic and was not hot. Shame really as it’s a beautiful property.

This hotel was a great find in Torquay. 10min walk from the Harbour/ Beach although note to others it’s up a steep hill. The spa was fantastic and even better within the price of room, you are given towels, bath robes and flip flops to use which was a lovely touch. Ladies - not only are there hair dryers but hair straighteners in the spa changing room! We didn’t eat at the Hotel so can’t advise but the tea/coffee tray has an endless selection of herbs teas, coffee and hot chocolate. Our room was on the ground floor by the roadside and you couldn’t hear anyone so lovely and quiet. Will definitely return when we have a night free from the kids!

Had a lovely stay at the hotel a beautiful meal in the restaurant and the staff were very friendly. The only down side was the room it was by the cleaners cupboard and fire escape so we had to keep the blind down during the day.The spa was amazing had a wonderful massage.

This is our second time at this hotel. We really enjoyed it the first time which is why we came back. The beds are extremely uncomfortable and the pillows are way too soft, No neck support. Overall stay was nice but the fact that we slept badly, we won’t be back. Our room also overlooked the staff stairs and the laundry room. Not quite what we expected. All and all- was ok.

We selected the Signature room and this hotel based on the photos on your website. It showed a very large room and very large bathroom. We paid extra over the Classic room based on the significantly larger room shown in the photos. The room we were given was much smaller than the photos. When we queried this with Reception it was explained that our room was bigger than a Classic. We appreciate there will be some variation in room size in an older hotel but there was a massive difference between the photos and reality which felt we had been misled. We asked about the room in the photos and were told this room had now been refurbished so was no longer a Signature room. This was disappointing as was the initial handling of our complaint. In the end we paid extra for a larger room. After this, everything else was good.

Exceptional property that is away from downtown yet close enough by foot to access amenities. We didn't think the location of the restaurant was optimal given many newly arriving guests had to walk through it. Otherwise, outstanding service and support. We will be back!

Fabulous adults only property with stunning spa facilities. Excellent food, reasonable bar prices and friendly staff. We did ask to move rooms and (loud dripping from drainpipes just outside the room which was very annoying given the pouring rain) this was accommodated immediately. Nice to park in the hotel grounds, but £15 per day is a little excessive, although appreciate it is secure and monitored. Heated towel rail in the bathroom is way too small to accommodate bath towels and spa towel, especially if the spa towel isn’t changed. However, we would go back and definitely make use of the wonderful spa facilities.

We enjoyed the service especially the treatment and the staff at the Spa. The waitering staff were very attentive, friendly and the service was very good. Like to mention Alan in the Al a carte dining room on Friday 4th August. Very professional and made us feel at home on our first evening. The hotel reception staff were very helpful attentive from check in until when we left. We would definitely consider coming back for a longer stay.

First time at the lincombe hotel. Its been a wonderful stay. From our initial registration to leaving today service and staff have been first class. Cleanliness perfect both the room and hotel in all locations. We're are so impressed we've booked a weeks stay in July.

Superb service from every member of staff. Excellent spa facilities, spotlessly clean throughout. Every meal from breakfast to evening meal was wonderful. Some of the staff were in their 20's but showed a level of service well beyond their ages. Great to see traditional standards of service still exist! It was truly a pleasure to stay at Lincombe Hall.

All the staff we came across were really friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and well decorated. The big standout is the luxury Spa facilities included in the hotel stay, we were able to use from 3-9pm and again the next day

nice hotel, felt reception staff could have been more flexible as we needed to delay our arrival by 1 day due to emergency, but they held us to start date we booked. i get thats the Tc’s & C’s, but somethings a little flexibility brings customers back. This was my 2nd visit at the hotel, but might now be my last as felt no comparison.

A wonderful 7 nights at this former country hall hotel on a hilltop overlooking Torquay marina. A couple of initial housekeeping and room quality issues quickly resolved through a room change organised by Leo the duty Manager. Spa facilities are great and my wife had two massages, the small but adequate gym is well equipped. Food in the Brasserie was good and the breakfast service excellent. The hotel staff were very attentive and keen to help. All in all, a very nice and relaxing summer holiday break even if the weather (on this occasion) wasn't that great! Thoroughly recommended .

Exceptional property that is away from downtown yet close enough by foot to access amenities. We didn't think the location of the restaurant was optimal given many newly arriving guests had to walk through it. Otherwise, outstanding service and support. We will be back!

This hotel was a great find in Torquay. 10min walk from the Harbour/ Beach although note to others it’s up a steep hill. The spa was fantastic and even better within the price of room, you are given towels, bath robes and flip flops to use which was a lovely touch. Ladies - not only are there hair dryers but hair straighteners in the spa changing room! We didn’t eat at the Hotel so can’t advise but the tea/coffee tray has an endless selection of herbs teas, coffee and hot chocolate. Our room was on the ground floor by the roadside and you couldn’t hear anyone so lovely and quiet. Will definitely return when we have a night free from the kids!

This place has a luxury feel as soon as you walk in. The spa is also ahead of many others in terms of luxury feel and facilities. We had a really lovely stay as six couples who left the kids at home for a night away to relax and unwind. Only a short walk down to the waterfront and into town too.

We had a great stay overnight on a Sunday when there was plenty of free parking on the road just outside the hotel. The spa was wonderful and our room was very comfortable. Great staff and facilities with a 24hr bar service. We would highly recommend.

Beautiful historic property renovated to contemporary design. Clean. Decor very tasteful. Everything was wonderful. Spa lovely. Gym small as expected but good use of space and well equipped and very clean. Easy, convenient location. Walk down the hill to town/ Harbour. Would definitely stay there again!

A beautiful property. Amazing staff. Stayed in a signature refurbished room, the bed was quite uncomfortable and hard. Bathroom large, shower a bit disappointing but overall a pleasant room. The templespa toiletries supplied were amazing and were available to buy. Breakfast at £15 each was a disappointment as limited pastries,yoghurts and fruit. No tea or coffee refils offered and the full english breakfast was quite small, I did not think it was worth the money. Had an evening meal which was ok, the mains were mediocre and overpriced. The dessert better, cheesecake was delicious. Spa facilities fantastic. Treatments fabulous. Outside terrace area was lovely overlooking the pool and jacuzzi. The hotel is located on quite a steep hill and its downhill to the town centre which is about a 8 minute walk. Don't think its ideal for the less mobile, also I didn't see any facilities for disabled guests at the property. Overall a lovely relaxing break. I would visit again but probably wouldn't eat in. The best thing about it were the staff, they couldn't do enough for us.

Absolutely incredible hotel/spa friendly and welcoming team throughout, nothing was too much trouble. The spa had loads of rooms ice,aromatherpay,salt aswell as a hydro and fitness pool, they also have a lovely although shallow outdoor pool and jacuzzi where i spent most of my time. Great food at the resteraunt you even get a voucher for money off the afternoon tea which was so yummy i couldnt finish it all so the team boxed it up for later! The only minor downsides to the trip were the rooms which some are yet to be upgraded there was peeling wallpaper and a musty smell, it's worth baring in mind theres a fair few steps to get throughout the hotel for those with mobility issues.The beds themselves were a dream so cosy!!! A huge shout out and thank you to the team as a solo traveller they made me feel ao comfortable. Already looking at booking again!

I had a classic room and although the bathroom was in a bit of disrepair it was clean and had a hot shower over the bath. The bed was clean and comfortable and there was an aircon unit in the bedroom which was a nice touch. The reception and dining area was good. The breakfast had standard buffet options and cooked breakfast menu. They had little shot glass smoothies which I hadn’t seen in other hotels and I thought this was different and nice. The main attraction for me was the pool/spa facilities, they were fantastic! The Himalayan salt room was a highlight, along with the Ice room and the clean loungers, the staff were very friendly and both girls smartly dressed. I would go back to this hotel just to go to this area it was wonderful. The hotel was in walking distance of Torquay town and had plentiful parking on site. Will definitely revisit.

Stayed for 2 nights, the spa facilities were excellent although there was no availability for treatments - it was a short notice trip so no time to book in advance. Room was good, clean, bathroom was a bit tired but the shower was strong. Service was good although we were not that impressed with the happy hour cocktail (possibly a bit weak)

Wonderful hotel, friendly staff, the room was great. Comfy bed, quiet air con, nice touches with bath robe and flip flops. Lighting was good too which is unusual. Food great in the bistro, and the spa was amazing will be back

Absolutely fantastic stay. Could not fault it. It was a very pleasant surprise as I wasn’t sure what to expect by the photos, but I can honestly say I would gladly stay again. All the facilities were excellent, the spa was amazing, the gym was very good and the outdoor jacuzzi and lounge area were lovely. You’d think you were abroad. I must say I didn’t eat dinner whilst staying, but I did have breakfast which has a very good selection, I had eggs Benedict one morning and traditional English the next. Can’t fault it. The room was spacious and functional with a walk In shower and a very nice bed. At first I thought the £220 a night stay was a little steep, but on reflection it’s 100 percent worth it. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely spa facilities, staff friendly and helpful. Some tired areas in rooms (stain on ceiling, loo seat loose). Having said that we enjoyed our stay, lunch was very nice.

This hotel is lovely. Its our second time and plan on returning. The spa and rooms are lovely. Table service at the spa which was handy. The staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner was a little slow but the service was great and the food tasted lovely.

This hotel is amazing in the summer due to the outdoor pool and bar terrace. It feels like being abroad. The communal areas are lovely, the food in the restaurant was very good and the spa was beautiful. The downsides of this hotel are that the room was very dated and tired (we had a cosy superking) and the parking charge of £15 per night for the hotel car park was excessive (so we parked directly outside on the road for our entire stay, which was free and actually closer to walk to with our bags than the car park).
