Torpark hotel

Very nice parking with a working electric charging point. There is no comment for everything else. The hotel seems haunted.

For a one-night stay, it seems fine enough. The room was made decently presentable, the bath & shower worked fine, finding parking was a little confusing initially as it's not well signposted but the parking seemed perfectly fine and I had no issues having a space. The one member of staff I met on the reception was nice and showed us to our room - which was pretty invaluable considering how strangely laid out the building is. I booked the room for 3 nights, but we only ended up staying for 2. We started to notice a lot of random stains - I didn't worry so much about the carpet but it was very stained, but there were also stains on the bedsheets, the walls and the chair. The room was clearly not very well maintained. Burn holes in the mattress and a broken piece of pipe glass only slightly tucked under the bed suggests someone had been smoking drugs in the bed at some point and no cleaners had checked around ever since. The room had a kettle, but no drinking water to be found. No breakfast or food available so we had to go out and buy all food & drink elsewhere. The rooms had no keys and a strange digital lock system with access codes. The main entrance lock and the room lock shared a code, which either means there are around 60 codes (or however many rooms there were) that worked for the main entrance, or some of the rooms shared access codes. There was no way to lock the door securely from the inside so didn't feel very safe. After night two I decided to just get us home.

The room was filthy and the hotel smelt of weed. The pictured they use to advertise their hotel are not real. And when we requested a refund and sent photos of the room they refused. We left straight away and booked a different hotel.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. As soon as I arrived, I felt very uncomfortable. The entire place was dirty, disorganised, and chaotic. It was impossible to tell who was a member of staff and who was a guest because everything seemed so unprofessional. The atmosphere made me feel so overwhelmed that I had a panic attack. I couldn’t stay there for even a minute. I left immediately and had to find another hotel because I simply didn’t feel safe or comfortable staying there. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. I would not recommend this property to anyone, and I hope the management takes cleanliness, organisation, and guest experience much more seriously.
