I had a lovely time in this surprisingly cosy hotel. Even though located in the hutongs, once inside the hotel, it was unique, charming and cosy. The host was most delightful and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for her.

The entire property seemed clean, well-maintained. It was difficult to find the hutong (alley) because the sign bearing the hutong's name was on the western side of the hutong wall, facing east, and I walked from the west looking for it. =)

Die Idee war in Peking in einem Hutong zu übernachten. Das Hotel war auf der Webseite gut angeboten, die Realität war etwas anders. Man hat das Hotel sehr schwer gefunden. Die Zimmer waren schön, etwas klein. Es war viel Technik verbaut, die nicht so 100-prozentig funktionierte. Das Personal war aber sehr nett und sprach auch gut Englisch
