BQ Belvedere Hotel

Eher ein 3 Sterne Hotel. Die Dusche lief aus, das Frühstück war vielfältig, aber nichts besonderes. Personal sehr gut! Der Pool war super, aber nicht früh genug geöffnet. Der große Parkplatz ist kostenlos aber nicht befestigt. Kam man sehr spät zurück, dann gab es kaum freie Plätze.

The hotel was very friendly clean the pool area was also very clean and tidy, The food at the hotel was really nice and a big variety.. really enjoyed my 3 days and higly reccomend this hotel

A special mention for Alex on reception who was very welcoming and so friendly and helpful all the way through our trip. The pool was lovely with plenty of loungers available and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

The hotel provides shuttle service to Magaluf and Palmanova which was convenient but very limited time available. With no shuttle after 6 PM. The hotel is close to Cala Major which was very nice. It’s about a 10 minute walk and there’s plenty of restaurants to go to along the way. Hotel is very clean and they allowed me to check in at 6 o’clock in the morning. On my birthday, they sent me a bottle of champagne to my room. I would’ve liked more amenities like complementary water in the room, coffee maker. Make sure you pack all your toiletries as there are none provided either. If you’re not looking for anything over the top, it’s a great location. If you’re on a budget the pool was nice and there are two poolside bars.

Check-in wasn't that good as soon as you say "good afternoon" they a binder in front of you with all the hotel information, to be honest is good but could have waited a few minutes. The information about the pool/beach towels is confusing and taking in consideration that you have to pay in CASH, probably this should be mentioned when we booked. Ended up renting one to find out later that the shop downstairs sells towels for €10 (renting + deposit was for us €24 that we got only €10 back when we return the towels). Food was nice and the theme nights were quite good, plenty of choice. Not eco-friendly you won't find a single water foutain around the hotel but we were able to find vending machines.

Was a good hotel, the food was very nice most of the time (had all inclusive). We thought it was quite bad though that pool towels you had to pay for (10euro + 10euro deposit, all in cash for some reason…) and the safety box as well. Weird when it’s all inclusive. Beds are quite hard. Worked for me but my friend thought they were quite bad. No fighting over sun beds and not that much people claiming them in the morning, was nice. The hotel is located pretty high up, so if you have issues with knees etc., it might not be the best fit. A lot of stairs to get there from the beach.

Die Unterkunft war der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für uns um die Insel zu erkunden. Wir hatten nur Frühstück gebucht. Das Abgebot ist reichlich aber nicht abwechlungsreich. Die Zimmer sind schon etwas älter und sehen dementsprechend aus. Trotzdem war alles sauber. Es gab einen großen Parkplatz.

just had a fantastic 4 night stay here, with the all-inclusive package. The food was excellent, and we never had to queue too long to get drinks. The pool area is beautiful and we never had any issue getting a sun lounger in the mornings. We used the free shuttle bus to Palmanova too which was great. The rooms are comfortable with an excellent shower.

Generally, we had a fine stay at this property. Staff was friendly. Rooms and hotel were very clean. Food at the buffet was average. Pool was big, nice and clean. It’s not close to the city and requires a bus to get there. This is really a hotel for families looking to stay at the pool the entire trip and like the “unlimited experience”. Not good for backpackers, those looking for culture or real experience.

This is not a 4* hotel, it is 3 stars at most. Overall, yes, I had a pleasant holiday at BQ Belvedere, but there were some things that let it down. Cleanliness was okay but lacking in detail - grime under the bed, under the sink and ants and silverfish in the bathroom. But what was worse was the appalling attitude of the restaurant and bar staff. Very rude, passive aggressive and generally unhappy to have to serve anyone. Customer service beyond the reception team was significantly lacking. Although I would go back to Palma, I would NOT stay here again!

Hotel has a major ant infestation. Woke up to hundreds of ants crawling on the floor and on my luggage, as well as ant bites. Staff did not apologize and refused to move me into a different room. Staff then proceeded to blame me for the ant infestation, without even looking into the room or adequately cleaning. When housekeeping finally came hours later, they did not clean and left numerous ant carcasses all over the ground. Staff unfriendly, judgmental and unwelcoming to solo travellers. Areas behind the furniture in room had papers from previous guests, meaning room had not been cleaned in these areas for over a month. Rooms are sad looking, dirty and no decorations. Not even a tissue box or mug is provided. Horrible value for money. Hotel also charges for the use of safe and pool towels, which is not listed anywhere on the posting. They require you to pay in cash too, which is impractical and clearly an attempt to maximize their profits. Your money is better spent anywhere else on the island. This is at best a 2 star accommodation, even that is generous.

Great hotel. Fantastic facilities and wonderful food. My single room was small but price point equalled this out. Staff went above and beyond to keep hotel clean. I liked the more secluded location…ie up the hill so it means a lovely quiet stay. Comfy beds and super quiet rooms. I really enjoyed every aspect of this note and will definitely go back and highly recommend. Some of the food was outstanding - Majorcian fish, tempura vegetables. Rest of food was great. Varied and tasty. Breakfast ran on an industrial scale to feed the guests who all come down at 0930 with eggs constantly fried, tables cleaned and staff ready with a smile. Fantastic. Thank you. Surrounding area given a 4 as roadworks retarmacing getting San Augustine ready for the summer. Visit Majaorcs, visit Palma, stay at BQ San Augustin.

Generelt bra opphold! Det eneste vinikkw var fornøyd med var rengjøring av rom. Det var flekker på gulvet på badet, som ikke ble vasket under hele oppholdet heller. Det virket som om de kun redde opp seng, og de skiftet ikke sengetøy, selv om det var flekker på det.

A nice hotel, clean room, lobby, restaurant and pool area. Had a corner double room on 9th floor which had fabulous views of the sea. Mini fridge in room but no coffee/tea service. Large and nice shower (good pressure) and big towels. Fairly comfortable bed. Room tidied up every day but no change of towels in our 3 night stay, no wiping clean surfaces and no replacing dirty glasses. Ants crawling on the floor on last day. Regarding the all-inclusive food option: Breakfast was not very good. Weird consistency and flavor to the scrambled eggs, thick sliced bacon undercooked, “juice” was horrendous and not at all fresh. Just a weird, watery liquid. Good coffee though 👍 Lunch and dinner were much better. Really great pizza was super tasty and pasta options were ok plus big salad bar. Icecream self serve was a nice touch for the children and grown ups alike. Biggest minus was the grumpy wait staff in the restaurant and pool bar. Made it seem like a huge pain and inconvenience to serve us. Asking for a second glass of wine produced big frowns and sighs. Why make the guests feel like a pain in the butt? I know tourists can be annoying but that’s what they get paid to deal with. The wait staff need some training in better customer service. Front desk, on the other hand were friendly and warm. All in all, a good visit but for sure the wait staff specifically detracted from the pleasantness.

We had a bunch of issues in this hotel mainly to do with the service. The staff members were a mixed bag, some were nice and others were quite rude. My friends had a mix up where they were given the key to a room that was already in use, their room also had ants crawling all over the entrance. My room had silverfish in it and for some reason the cleaner sprayed my whole room with vinegar (which did not kill the silverfish) and I had to sleep in a room stinking of vinegar. Honestly this might sound terrible but it wasn’t all bad, the beds were so comfortable and the room was nice despite all of that. I wish some of the staff were more polite as I had issues of a staff member ignoring me when asking for help, but responding to others (obviously my race may have been a factor in this situation, but I don’t want to assume. Maybe he didn’t like my face or something). Whenever we’d call the number for reception they wouldn’t come or respond for the longest time. The hotel is nice and the food was alright too, we got half board. But the staff… chip on their shoulders

Ampia colazione a buffet, piscina molto bella e pulita. La camera troppo piccola, la doccia minuscola… impossibile praticamente muoversi in doccia! Per il prezzo elevato, mi aspettavo almeno una camera di qualità.

lobby and swimming pool area is nice, but room are just a bit basic, check in slow, but good thing is staff help to check room once we report the aircon has issue. quiet area, but just a bit harsh to walk to store since is uphill.

I love the easy and Disability friendly access. Dislike the room it was too hot and the AC was on very low temperature with made sleeping to be uncomfortable.

We have just returned from short break (friends) 6-10 July. We had an amazing stay. The hotel is spotless throughout. Our room was huge and on top floor. We had a wrap around balcony from the bedroom and a second balcony off the lounge. The all inclusive option is a must. The food was fabulous. Lots of choice and freshly cooked. The snack bar also had lots of choice. The drinks were great. The service is a little slow but you are allowed 3 drinks at a time, so if you’re impatient you can always have 3 drinks at a time! The staff were so helpful in all areas of the hotel. The shuttle bus to Palma Nova is free and only a few minutes away. There is a beach down the road too. In all a great stay and would definitely return.

The air conditioning left the hotel at 29.5 °C (85.1 °F), did not cool well, and made loud noises that interrupted sleep, adding to the heat. The room is small and simple, comfortable but without basic amenities such as a kettle. Breakfast is very basic and bad, with no nearby options, although lunch, dinner, and the pool are worth it, also most of the staff members are ok. They have absurd policies such as charging cash for towels and vending machines that only accept cash, without offering cold water or drinking fountains. The shower has very low pressure, making bathing take longer. In addition, the hotel did not confirm in time a tour we had paid for, preventing us from doing it on our last day; they only refunded the money. Avoid this hotel, look for another area or pay for something better, it would be worth it.

Bra och trevlig personal. Underbart tilltagen frukostbuffé. Bra poolområde. Det negativa: väldigt lyhört, extremt små duschkabiner. Totalt sätt nöjda.

Lovely room which was serviced every day. Sea view. Fabulous shower. Room had fridge which was handy for water, beer and wine! Great choices at breakfast buffet. Drinks good value if you're not all inclusive. Large pool with plenty of sunbeds. Luggage room and showers available if you have a later flight.

Ordering from bar at night you'd get told sit down an use QR code that no customers could use as didnt work. Rude. Everyone told same thing. Kiosk Keith at pool bar never cracked a smile and made wanting to get a drink uncomfortable. Food was plentiful but cold every night bar one. I cant tell you how many people tripped over unmarked small steps which were dangerous. Hotel coach very useful for escaping the enviroment.

Nothing to complain about, the hotel was clean, staff were friendly, breakfast was very good and lots of variety i.e full english, continental, pastries, fruit and yogurt. My room was on the front of the hotel so if there was any noise from the entertainment or pool area I didn't hear any. I only paid for room and breakfast but you can pay €22 to have lunch or dinner there. I also asked for late checkout when i checked in and the staff member told me to check on the day of checking out, I paid €40 and stayed in my room untill 7pm which was perfect as it was raining all day so i relaxed untill getting to the airport for my late flight.

The air condition was broken. And the staff give us no support. The reception time was to long. The rooms was after cleaning dirty to. Breakfast was ok Mg

I liked the hotel, however it is a 15min walk to the center and 20min walk to the beachside on a steep hill.

Sehr schönes Hotel! Als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge (z.B. Palma) gut gelegen. Bushaltestelle in 5 Fuss-Minuten Entfernung. Fahrt nach Palma ca. 20 Minuten für nur 2€. Die Umgebung Richtung Strand ist eher "mittelprächtig", hat uns aber nicht gestört. Miro-Museum (empfehlenswert) und Supermärkte fussläufig erreichbar. Sehr reichhaltige und abwechslungsreiche Frühstücks- und Abendessenbuffets. Sehr lecker und frisch. Toller Service, unser defekter Kühlschrank wurde innerhalb einer Viertelstunde ausgetauscht. Habe ich noch nie so erlebt:-) Pools waren in den Herbstferien noch offen, aber nicht mehr beheizt. War aber völlig ok zum Schwimmen. Preise für Getränke im Hotel m.E. nach fair (3 Getränke zum Abendessen 7,30€). Kostenloser und pünktlicher Shuttle nach Palmanova. Wir hatten einen Shuttle vom Flughafen gebucht, was auch reibungslos geklappt hat. Alles in allem also ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Theres a bus stop right by the hotel & only 2 euros into Palma and there's a free shuttle bus to Palma Nova as well! It is located up a big hill with lots of steps which I didn't mind but those less mobile would struggle..the same if you had pushchairs.

The property is clean, friendly staff and food is good and has enough variety. Every day there seems to be some kind of theme. Drinks and snacks during the day OK and in June there is not a mass of people. The area around the hotel has not much to do. The hotel is on a hill so expect climbing from restaurants and shops back to the hotel. Convenient bus connections from the hotel to Palma and Palmanova/magaluf

Wir waren nach einer Kreuzfahrt noch für 3 Tage vor Ort. Das Hotel ist ok, nichts besonderes. Frühstück war allerdings sehr reichhaltig und gut. Die Zimmer waren sauber und wir hatten den gebuchten Meerblick. Der Ort selber hat uns nicht ganz so gut gefallen. Der Shuttle Bus zum Strand in Palmanova war prima. Der Strand dort ist wirklich toll.

Hotel amazing, nice set out, clean, lovely food and friendly staff. To leave hotel requires a good walk, bus or taxi as itvis isolated, which can be a positive. Free bus good.

Placed too far from beaches; shuttle bus not reliable, the driver did not stop a the pick-up point and advise the people to board for BQ Belvedere hotel, as the shuttle bus was not properly identified

No restaurants or bars close by ,had to go in to calle mayor for that which was fine going downhill but a steep climb uphill !!

I stayed here for a few days this July for a solo break. The hotel was clean and it felt safe. The pool was clean and there were enough sun lounges. The poolside food and drink options were great. The only reason I have given it 4 stars is because there aren’t a huge amount of veggie options in the dining facilities and twice when I asked about a dish which had no label I was informed at that counter by the chef working there that there were no veggie options notwithstanding a dish which was “labelled as veggie” at that counter; when I queried this the chef said it’s not really vegetarian which meant all the food items were not labelled correctly and on prior dining occasions I may have had something which was labelled vegetarian but actually wasn’t. The hotel itself in terms of bed room space, cleanliness, reception staff, cleaning staff, pool and outdoor space is great! The reception staff are very friendly and welcoming and helped me with a number of queries and with directions.

Need to pay €20 for one bathing towel depositum on €20. The day i arrived i didn’t need towel and the day i was leaving i didn’t need towels but i had to pay for those days too. The bar at the hotel had 2 waiters that did only speak Spanish. None of them didn’t understand anything you said so drinks was wrong or i got to many that i didn’t orders. The drinks at the bar was very poorly made, if you ordered a mojito it was not like how the mojitos should be made or taste. Bar also closes too early The doors at the hotel have a selfclosing function that makes the doors slam, that is very loud and at middle of the night you hear the doors slam so you wake up. The aircondition at the rooms are also very loud. Sometimes hard to find a sunbed because it’s not enough for all the guestes at the hotel. I feel like this hotel is a 3 star and not a 4 star hotel. But something positive too: Very nice outdoor pool and i like how the hotel have been renovated.

Great hotel with amazing food! Would definitely recommend all inclusive.
