Good clean and practical. Not too far from hwy if driving, reasonably good price and breakfast, swimming pool and gym too, will return if nearby.

This is our go-to in Gananoque. The updates to this hotel are much appreciated. However, there is room for some better cleaning. The bathroom in our room had a lot of hair on the floor and the toilet seat hinges were almost falling off and still covered in pink cleaning product. The elevator also needed some spot cleaning, e.g. spilled grated cheese on the elevator floor was still there 10 hours later and there was constant water on the floor, presumably from pool guests. There was a problem with barking dogs on our floor, and we had an adjoining room - the guests in the adjoining room might as well have been in our room - zero privacy from a sound perspective. Of course the hotel cannot manage the behaviour of guests at breakfast, but we have never observed such a feeding frenzy. Staff were very welcoming and pleasant.
