We stayed at this Holiday Inn during the Texas State Fair. Saturday night our vehicle was vandalized and burglarized. We first asked the front desk employee if there had been any other vehicle related incidents in the parking lot which she first denied but later admitted there had been and the same thing had happened to that vehicle. She would not offer any help and was incredibly rude and disrespectful. We cannot recommend this hotel to anyone given the horrible staff and our experience with their site security.

Very clean and quiet. The pool heater didn’t work so my kids had to play in the freezing cold water( yes, they still wanted to play in the pool lol) other than that everything was good. And my family enjoyed the breakfast too. Highly recommended for family with kids!

Bathroom had hairs on the wall and a used towel behind the door. AC did not work for 2 days. They fixed the blower but it blew hot air out. Room temp was 79 degrees. Hallway was cooler than room. Woke up sweating at night. No available rooms to switch too. They did comp one night.

We stayed here for a water polo tournament, it was clean and conveniently located for our event, restaurants and shopping. Please be aware that they charge $5 a night for the privilege of parking in their parking lot because the staff does not make you aware of that unless you notice and mention it.

They accommodated me in a room on the first floor because it was the only one available. After two nights sleeping there, I found a cockroach in my room. I complained and asked to change rooms. She said that the first floor had these things!! They moved me to a bigger one on the third floor and guess what?? The next morning I found another cockroach in this new room. I complained and heard only one "I'm sorry!". What are you going to do to change?? That's disgusting!!! I spent the whole time thinking that I could have it in my luggage and that the cockroach could have touched me at night.

The staff and breakfast are good, it was the cleanliness of the room that bothered us. Major stains on the carpet and couch. To the point we refused to walk barefoot or sit on the couch. Lamp shade missing plus it was missing a light bulb do you just had an exposed socket. Bathroom lovk was broken also. The hotel was full for the total eclipse and there was no made service that weekend. Our phone didn’t work to call the front desk so I had to go down there and wait in line while other people checked in and then tell them we need towels, washcloths, shampoo, shower wash. Everything was empty. The first day our room smelled like sewer.

The good: Pretty dining room, sufficient parking, really kind staff. My kids loved the pool. Really comfy beds. The not so good: Our shower looked like it was under construction and wasnt the cleanest, big roach in our room, new dirty spot on carpet, they ran out of breakfast the last day of our stay so we had to go get something, pool seems like it needed to be cleaned as it was very cloudy. Food on trash not cleaned off our entire stay. All in all, I'd give this hotel a 6. It wasnt the worst.

I chose this hotel because it is convenient to the office I was working at in Dallas. Check-in was easy and the service was pleasant. I do think it is ridiculous that they charge $5 to park, it's a normal parking lot. The room is standard, comfortable enough. Unfortunately, My room was just off the elevator and was Extremely loud. I could hear noises all night. It didn't help that there was a rather large gap between the bottom of the door and the floor. Maybe if I had been in a different room my stay would have been better but I don't think I would book here again.

Had to switch rooms in the middle of the night because the air was not working and floor looked like it had just been done. Also, sounded like the window was open all night could hear cars from the highway. But thanks to the great staff we were given another room. Overall great place to stay.

this is a good place to stay if you want something affordable and easy. definitely not a place to sleep in if you wanted to. this is the first hotel where the walls and doors are very thin and you can hear everything. was up by 6am because housekeeping is very loud and even knocked on our doors by 8am asking if we needed anything. we just got there the night before😢 I appreciate it but definitely didn’t need anything. other than that it was a decent stay.

Front desk customer service was horrible, Maria was her name I explained my situation to her because of the problems I already had with the ac not working in the room and the fridge not cooling there were also flying bugs in the room in which we had to kill. Now the GM had already spoken with me and took care of everything, but since I had to check out and some things were not taken care of I went down to the front desk and addressed my concerns and Maria was rude and disrespectful to a paying customer who not one time had attitude or was rude to her. She had the worse nasty attitude. As I walked away she slammed her hand on the counter talking about me to another guy that was there so i walked back and stood there and she looked stunned, I said no don’t mind continue I would love to hear what your saying and she tried to blow it off and act like she wasn’t talking about me. I don’t recommend anyone going there it’s the worst and I will be sending a email to the manager and better business bureau along with leaving a bad review with pictures.

It's close to the Galleria Mall which was a nice place to get out and shop. It's also right on the 635 loop so easy to get onto the highway in any direction you need. The only complaint was the beds weren't great. But that's most hotels. Otherwise the staff and facilities were excellent. We will be using this location for any future Dallas trips.

Most things were as expected with things being clean, a solid to above average breakfast, etc. there were a couple glaring issues though. 1. They charged $5 for a parking spot….what in the world? 2. Far more problematic, our room smelled bad, like mold, stale, coat your lungs, bad. I absolutely hate complaining and asking for refunds or new rooms and I chose not to but strongly considered it out of fear for our health. Perhaps this was an exception for this place but it was quite bad.

We had a good stay. The property was clean and rooms were clean. Pool was a little small and cold. Breakfast had a lot to offer but we didn’t care for the taste so much. You do get charged $5 a night per car for parking but that wasn’t shown until after we reserved the rooms.
