There are so many rooms do not have a real window. The window face to the hall and the room temperature is very high even though right now is Mars. Staff do not want to help, there's no solution, I got cold when during the my stay. Horrible hotel, staff do not helpful, room is not the same as the picture. Stronly Dont Recommend.

Stayed 2 nights

review I booked a 2 night stay at the Hotel President Budapest, needless to say it was absolutely less than satisfactory. I acknowledge it was New Year’s eve and so the pricing and availability throughout the city is inflated but there is no way anyone should voluntarily pay to stay at the Hotel President Budapest- you are better off sleeping in your vehicle. From the exterior and the lobby the hotel is beautiful! Spacious and clean, staff is friendly but the rooms? An absolute joke and no one should subject them selves to such an experience. The bed- two half’s of the mattress making a whole which is standard however one mattress was rock hard and one was squishy like old sponge. The weird green carpet was stained, the shower/tub had black gunk in the cracks. As if the general aesthetic wasn’t enough to turn you off; the fridge didn’t work, the wifi doesn’t work in the room, the TV? you guessed it, didn’t work! The bathroom was so small, the room was the same. The pictures of the room online are in no way a reflection of what the rooms actually look like, the hotel itself is beautiful but unfortunately the rooms are just terrible not to mention it’s an absolute maze to get around as well. Over all- the staff is very friendly and the lobby is beautiful but that can’t make up for the other overwhelming shortcomings.

Room was lovely clean and warm. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. View from rooftop was stunning. Location perfect. Room had plenty of sockets but is in need of USB sockets.

There was a problem with our Expedia booking. The hotel did not receive it. Therefore it took a long time to book in but the hotel upgraded our room. The room we were given was lovely. The tea and coffee was not refilled in the room. When we asked at reception they did give us more coffee pods and teabags. Everything we saw was smart and well maintained The hotel is in a very nice central location, close to attractions but quiet. There are a couple of good restaurants in the street and local shops very close. The breakfast was very good with a wide variety to choose from.
