Double bed was 2 singles pushed together My window view was of a corridor So all 500 guests could see in to bedroom When walking past if curtains are open Fridge in room was warm Room felt dark with no natural light Swimming pool was empty Breakfast was a disappointment Roof terrace had great views But would not like to be up there when it’s busy As raised area Is constructed of wood And was moving in the wind The lobby via entrance looks the business But unfortunately the rooms are definitely not 4 star more 2/3 stars in my opinion But it a great location for walking about Very central

The cheapest rooms are in a separate building and their windows open onto a covered central courtyard, so you can’t open the window for fresh air and you end up feeling closed in. My fridge was also not working properly. The rooms are reasonably new and clean though. The thing that really annoyed me was just how much worse their gym is than the picture management has published on the major sites. I literally chose the hotel because of the gym, and it seems like that picture is from 15+ years ago. For cardio there’s only an old and maybe broken down stairmaster, there are only mediocre free weights, there are no mats for stretching. I guess the hotel lives up to its name lol.

Det var et dejligt hotel, lidt slidt, men fint, vi var dog kede af at poolen ikke virkede, da vi havde valgt det, pga.pool og spa.morgenmad fin, og rengøring meget god. Hotellet lå lige i midten af alting, metro stoppede 2min fra hotellet. Så fint.

Great location! The best with the hotel is the location! Nice modern rooms! Very good breakfast. They have nice terrace with the view but was closed during our 3 days stay, very unfortunate since we booked the hotel for the location and the terrace. There was no info about this during my booking:( I complained to the reception but with no luck or compensation

Not long back from our stay. Lovely hotel in a great location, walking distance to everything. Great facilities and helpful staff. The rooftop igloo bar had a better view than some of the more touristy rooftop bars & served delicious cocktails/hot palinka drinks. Breakfast had a great selection of foods & our gluten free needs were accommodated without issue, staff even remembered us & provided GF bread each morning without being asked. We made use of the hot tub , the only thing that could’ve made this hotel better would’ve been the indoor pool being in use (but we were aware at the time of booking). Would definitely go back

Really enjoyed my stay. The rooms were confortable, the breakfast was great. The spa area was nice, but the swiming pool was closed for renovation. The bar at the rooftop had a nice view. The region around is walkable with many options

Very good stay - staff and location ideal. Only 'downside', bars shut at 10pm. Eould havd been nice to have been able to come back for a drink after being out all day. This wouldn't be an issue for others. Would highly recommend!

Hotellets beliggenhed er fantastisk med gåafstand til mange seværdigheder. Service og hjælpsomheden i receptionen er virkelig god. Stor ros til receptionen. Vi oplevede at der ikke var styr på allergener i restauranten. Der var en oversigt med symbolforklaringer på fx mælk og gluten, men de enkelte madvarer var ikke markeret med symboler, så det gav ikke klarhed. Adspurgt om der var plantebaserede muligheder blev der anvist yoghurt med mælk og tun. Der er en fantastisk udsigt fra tagterrassen og der er en bar deroppe. Det er desværre kun muligt at nyde udsigten fra tagterrassen i barens åbningstid fra 1600-2200.

Main complaint was that wake-up call, taxi ordered for 6:30 am, and promised breakfast box never materialized. Information was not transferred to am staff.

Hotellet ligger centralt i Budapest, nära till allt. Rummet var rent men ganska litet. Ingen utsikt från fönstret man tittar i andras fönstret. Frukosten var ok men snarare för 3 stjärnor än för 4. Restaurang på taket med utsikt över Budapest var stängt för renovering.Om vi skulle veta att det är stängt skulle vi välja ett annat hotel.

Vi fikk ikke rommet til kl 15 som var tidligst tidspunkt for innsjekk. Stod og ventet på at rommet skulle bli rengjort og unnskyldningen var at hotellet var såpass fullbooket den dagen at de hang etter med renholdet. Vi fikk rommet først etter kl 18 og da fikk vi en dobbeltseng i stedet for to enkle senger (noe jeg hadde spesifisert i bestillingen). Rommet var lite og mørkt med kun et vindu mot en slags bakgård i første etasje. I resepsjonen stod det kun en person som skulle betjene en ganske stor kø av gjester, så det tok ganske lang tid før vi fikk hjelp. Resepsjonisten beklagde så mye at de ikke kunne gi oss to enkle senger, men bare en dobbeltseng da de bare hadde dette ene rommet å tilby oss. Alt i alt var det ikke verdt de 4 stjernene de påstår at de har. Har bodd på betydelig bedre og mer service vennlige hoteller med 4 stjerner i Budapest.

Doesn’t rate a 4 star. 3 if lucky. Very tired hotel, needs rooms refurbishing. Stayed 4 nights October 25, standard double room. Threadbare carpets, bedside drawers not cleaned from previous occupants. Very dark bathroom – poor lighting general. Furniture generally chipped (including breakfast room). No kettle for hot water. WC seat skewed. Temperature control not working. Constant repetitive music played in corridors, right outside rooms. Public areas OK. On the good side, there was a safe in the room.

The rooms in the inner hallway are very hot with no external window and an AC unit that does not give cold air. We raised this with the hotel and we was luckily moved to another room with an external window. However this was frustrating having repack all our belongings. There was no milk provided with the coffee facilities which meant you had to go to the restaurant and ask for milk each time. Staff were friendly and breakfast was nice. Great location.

Gute Lage, eigentlich ein schönes Hotel. Aber! Es hat Hellhörige Zimmer, wir hatten 2 Zimmer in der Etage 130-146. Die Halle, was eigentlich ein Treppenhaus ist , ist wie ein Mikrofon. Man hört im Zimmer den leisesten Ton, das Reden der Leute. Dazu gibt es ab ca.6:00 morgens bis 23:00 Musik in der Halle, die man gut hört. Uns hat es gestört, dass wir deswegen ab früh morgens nicht mehr schlafen konnten.

180 Euro for one night in single room with poor and worn furnishing is not value for that money. The room was located next to the lift. 4 meter window glas front, directed to after midday sun - aircondition cant regulate. Breakfest offer was fantastic. But... it doesnt makes it better, as that should be standard.

No outside window in the room, air conditioning was on but no cold air, heating was always on, room way to hot and my wife barely slept for 4 nights. Should have been told there is no window to the outside, we could have let in some cool and fresh air! breakfast was good. everything shut at 10pm, we are on holiday would like a drink when we get back from dinner! Everything very clean, room also, fresh towels, bit knocked about but ok, apart from Heat & Window. Not a 4 star, tries to look like one but fails in delivery and communication. Staff friendly! That said its a good priced 3 star (if informed about outside windows) and a great location.

There was a problem with our Expedia booking. The hotel did not receive it. Therefore it took a long time to book in but the hotel upgraded our room. The room we were given was lovely. The tea and coffee was not refilled in the room. When we asked at reception they did give us more coffee pods and teabags. Everything we saw was smart and well maintained The hotel is in a very nice central location, close to attractions but quiet. There are a couple of good restaurants in the street and local shops very close. The breakfast was very good with a wide variety to choose from.

Very nice location in area 5, convenient and close to many of the top sites we wanted to see. The staff was excellent and very helpful. Breakfast was awesome to fuel us up for a big day of experiencing such an incredible city. So glad we went to Budapest and stayed at The President. We saw the other options we almost selected and we were so grateful we had chosen this hotel!

I mentioned about Expedia Gold Status and asked for room upgrade if its available but the staff said "No, your room is already not basic?" I guess they meant my room is good enough... The hotel was not full and was available for upgrade but would not honor Expedia upgrade request unless I pay for the upgrade.

Overall, the hotel is average at best. The location is good and central in Budapest. Our room was serviced everyday, which is a nice change from recent experience at other places after COVID. Other services are however very disappointing. You have to scan a QR code to request services - you can’t phone reception. We requested a clothes iron 3 times this way, and also asked reception in person another 2 times - we are still waiting today and could not iron our clothes for the wedding we were attending. The towel warmer was not working, also not the hand shower. This was also not addressed after using the QR code to request this to be addressed. The response time was also not good, it took more than 3 hours for a response after commenting on the site, and then none of the issues were addressed as per above. The bathroom also shows signs of excessive wear and tear. The plastic trim on the shower door is broken. The sleeper couch is not comfortable at all. Overall, I would not recommend the hotel especially not for the price paid.

Çok merkezi ve güzel bir otel. Odalar gayet temiz. En üstünde harika bir roof barı var. Söyleceğim tek bir sorun vardı o da odalardaki klimanın soğutmamasıydı. Biz 4 odada 4 aile kaldık. Diğer odalarda da aynı problem vardı. Hava çok sıcak olmasa muhtemelen sorun olmazdı… onun dışında otel her yere yürüme mesafesinde… Kahvaltısı 10 numara 10 yıldız! 👏👏👏 Teşekkür ederiz.

Very nice location in area 5, convenient and close to many of the top sites we wanted to see. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The Hotel is in a great location. About between 3 - 5 minute walk to two different metro lines and stations. Great Breakfast, salty and sweet options, many various foods, fruits and choices. The President has the best breakfast that I have had in Europe. Friendly staff and welcoming environment.

Otroligt fint hotell och jätte bra och god frukost med stort utbud vad man vill äta till frukost. Bra luftkonditionering och allt kändes otroligt fräscht och rent. Trevlig personal vid receptionen och hjälpsamma. Så nöjd under hela vistelsen.
