Clean hotel with all the necessities. Front desk staff were friendly. This hotel is dog friendly with a great area behind the hotel to walk the dogs. There is trailer parking in the back. Enough for two trucks with a max of maybe 20 ft trailers. The hotel is set back from the highway and backs into a neighborhood with a field in between. Anything in the bed of the truck I felt was safe. Great location.

The fire alarm goes off every day 1-3 times. We were told that anyone taking a long hot shower would set off the alarm. Makes you wonder when you should take the fire alarm seriously.

The staff and facilities were excellent. The property appeared to be new and well built. The rooms, front counter, dining area and grounds were very clean. They had a very good selection of breakfast options from the traditional sausage, egg, biscuit breakfasts to yours, cereals, waffles, and fruit. They also have a well equipped gym and pool.

Excellent facility. Nice room. Very friendly. Chose to stay here for the pool and hot tub. Both were green with algae!! Yuck! Have to assume the management did not care to service the pool! Very disappointed.

Well maintained property in a quiet spot! Clean, breakfast is fresh and well stocked. Our only complaint was that we tried to go swimming mid day on Sunday and the chlorine was so strong it made us sick. It turned out they had just added chlorine right before we went in, and there were no notices. The person we told seemed politely dismissive when we reported it. Other than that it was a perfect stay. The person working the front desk even did a Cookie Monster impersonation for my toddler when he saw his Cookie Monster shoes which was sweet.

The rooms in this property are NOT in any way clean nor sanitized. I arrived late after a 12 hour drive. Went into the room to shower before going to bed. There was hair on the toilet, toilet seat, and many hairs in the shower. I clean it myself, as I was ready to get some rest. I spoke with the manager/owner the following morning. His response is that it is hard to find good help in a small town. Also, at breakfast, I had to wait for the hotel staff to get their breakfast before I could get mine. Then they sat in the dining area, laughing, joking and talking loudly.

This was an ok stay but for the price it was not worth it compared to the other hotels in the area. We booked a suite with a king and pull out sofa, there were no linens available in the room for the pull out sofa - even though we reserved the room for 2 adults and 2 children. We called to see if we could get linens and the attendant at the front desk (who was super nice) said we could get linens, we just need to come down to the front desk to get them. There weren’t enough pillows to accommodate everyone. Thankfully one of my kids had brought their own. The first floor hallway has a slight urine odor which could be from the indoor pool but it was noticeable. Our bathroom shower had hair in it when we arrived and the bathroom floor was a little sticky feeling. Not the cleanest hotel we have stayed in. We have stayed at the neighboring hotel in the past but unfortunately, they were booked for the time we were going to be there but I would prefer to stay there.

I had a great stay here. I stayed 2 nights, 1 business and 1 leisure. I enjoyed the pool, breakfast, and generally everything about my stay. The room was clean and just as described. Yeh bed could have been a lil softer but done just fine. Loved the roomy shower!

Our stay was very comfortable. The staff is friendly and honest. We had stayed at this location the previous weekend. I had overlooked my IPad when we checked out. We called to let them know and requested a call if they found it. We received a call and then we requested that they hold it until we returned a week late. We were able to retrieve it upon our return. Thank you for a good experience.

So much was great about this stay. I do want to tell you about a bad thing in our bill. We made the reservation through Expedia. We told them we were traveling with two small dogs. They figured our bill, including fees, at $102 plus change. When we checked in they asked if we had pets with us and my husband said yes, two small dogs. Then when we were checking out, the lady asked about dogs, and Sam said yes, I told the lady when I checked in. The checkout lady said, “and she didn’t charge you the pet fee?” Sam said he didn’t know. We left with our receipt with a zero balance, but saw later, on our chare card a $50 charge….no explanation. They charged that without my permission. So, buyer beware!

The front staff was very rude.. I understand that it was a holiday and busy but was not helpful. Door to the pool was locked before closing and was rude about unlocking it for other guest. Gave us a key to an entire different room (we paid for the family suite, she gave us a basic single king) and then stated it was booked and couldn’t do anything. After finally getting the manager he realized she gave us the wrong room/key and that we were properly booked. Never once apologized. The bedding has what looks like either urine or coffee stains on it. Trash on the floor. Was not cleanly… at all. I’d consider booking elsewhere.

I always stay at this place when I’m in Sulphur Springs, it’s clean, quiet, nice staff, and convenient location. If you’re traveling with dogs, there’s plenty of room around the hotel to walk your dog also.

Property was very well kept from the manicured landscaping to the lobby. Receptionist was helpful on best place to park, based on our room location which saved lots of walking. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and there were tons of options including fresh fruit. We will stay here again and do recommend.

The breakfast was the worst i have seen ever, sausage patties drowning in a pool of grease, hashbrowns that were practically mashed and greasy,only hot water and regular coffee,no decaff,in coffee area was on 3rd floor where there was boxed doors between every room in hallway to navigate through
