Great staff that were very accommodating, clean facility, nice pool, and loved having outside bar with seating. Thank you for a wonderful experience and look forward to future stays.

Pool not area not clean and run down

Room was clean, and functional. Did not like being told I had to pay in cash for parking my car on the hotel's property. I've stayed at this location for several years and never had to pay parking fee. why the fee and why it had to be cash??

Hotel was great awesome pool and bar open late but not packed like the downtown places. Even on saturday of memorial day weekend. Will definitely book again

This hotel has a great location and a nice pool. But it needs major updates in the rooms. Beds were very uncomfortable in the 3 queen rooms. Carpet stained from years of use. Bathrooms were small and outdated. Also pool lounge chairs were so worn and broken. People working were very polite and helpful. Monday and Tuesday pool bar is closed. Very limited continental breakfast on weekdays. No coffee maker in room. From my understanding some rooms are getting updated during winter but my room was not one of them. You can rent a golf cart from the hotel which was convenient.

There was not enough on site parking for paying guests, even though we paid for 3 full days but only were there for 2. Breakfast was advertised but once we check in we find out there is none on the weekends, when the daily rate is higher. There was no microwave in room & a hair dryer was not in a friends room. The pool area was locked until after 10am when the website stated it was open from 8am until 10pm. We booked this hotel as we had stayed here before & enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, however it has changed: music in the bar started once the pool was open & continued later than 10pm. This was a nice place but it has definitely changed. I will not be back.

Having a pool with a bar on the property is great. Close enough to walk downtown too.

Close to everything. No breakfast on weekend was a bummer. Fridge was not working until finally the second day the guy up front let me go with him to switch it. Our air conditioner did not get cold. We had two rooms for six and the other room was fine. Pool was open to everyone at the other location so full of random people from other hotels will stay somewhere else for sure next time.

Facility was clean, and location was great a few mins away from downtown. Didn't offer breakfest on sat and sun, that was very inconvenient. Pool water was freezing, and we stayed 3 nights and room service didnrt come to trade out towels or freshen room.

The name “resort” is definitely a misnomer. Don’t be fooled. Great curb appeal but the 2-bedroom suite was disgusting. Cobwebs everywhere and no place to set your luggage other than the floor. Patched up walls with no paint over them. The hardworking money we spent on the 3-night stay was definitely overrated. Basically a place to put your head at night but nothing more.

The first two hours we were threatened to be put out because of music and it was between 8-9pm. We had to tip toe around the whole weekend so we wouldn’t lose $1,033 on the room. There were ants crawling in the bathroom. No beach towels. I guess that’s what happens when you book three weeks out.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The property is in a great location. Clean and comfortable.

Loved that is was set back on the road abd was quiet, but still very close to everything. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. My niece loved the indoor pool.

The pool was ok. Most unfriendly staff ever! Very dirty, stained towels and sheets. Pool towels were literally mix matched like the were donated from goodwill. Lets not discuss the free breakfast. The entire hotel had to share a gallon of milk if the wanted cereal. Overall just a nasty dirty place. We paid 1400.00 for 3 nights. At exactly 11, they locked me out of my room when i was trying ro load mt car. And my dogs were srill in there!

The carpets are filthy, the air conditioning doesn't get very cold in the rooms, and the shower head is so old that it barely streamed out and took an extra 10 minutes to get clean. This was for over $400 a night. I get that it is a seasonal property, but this place desperately needs updated and cleaned.

Motel quality at resort pricing. We booked a two bedroom suite for a family of five, we arrived to a packed lobby with one younger guy behind the desk doing a good job of getting everyone checked in in a timely manner, the wait wasn’t too long considering he was by himself. We got our room keys, and got to our room. We were first greeted by an overwhelming air freshener that definitely felt like it was covering something up, followed by well used outdated furniture, broken windows, holes punched through both bedroom doors and the bathroom door, and old rusty used appliances that looked like they were straight from a garage sale. It was at this point that we decided we could use a drink to ease the pain of our $700 per night purchase. We went over to the outdoor bar by the pool to be greeted by 8-10 other patrons sitting at the bar visibly upset by the lack of a bartender. After waiting 5ish minutes we decided to go into town instead and try our luck later. It wasn’t until that night did we discover how uncomfortable the beds were, that half of our light fixtures had no bulbs in them, the ac units had leaked condensation all over the carpet, and the closet in the one bedroom wasn’t a closet at all, but instead a dusty hot water tank covered by a thin wooden shutter. The whole experience was hilarious. If you’re a drunk college kid with your parents credit card you’ll feel right at home, but if you’re paying for this room with your own money prepare to be very disappointed.

We booked a "suite" with three queen beds through Hotels.com. The description said the unit was 1197 square feet. I would be surprised if it was 350, and the "suite" didn't even have a single chair in it - three 60-something ladies had to sit on their beds!. The description also said it included breakfast, but there was no breakfast at the hotel at all - not even coffee. No coffee maker in our room either, and one of the lamps didn't work. No desk (this was also mentioned in the description). When we talked to the front desk they were indifferent, and said they were not responsible for Hotels.com's inaccuracies in the description. I can say that the room was clean, and the beds were OK, but that's about it for good things. The pool was ice cold so you couldn't stay in it. The poolside chairs were old and had rips in them. The pool towels -- they first gave us small towels that were somewhere between a hand towel and a bath towel. When we asked if they had larger ones, they did but were hesitant to give them to us because they were "old". You weren't allowed to take any beverages into the pool area (even water or soda) - you had to purchase everything at their bar.

Spacious room! Would have liked sitting by the pool in the morning, but all access was locked.

Great location, hotel is in the middle between downtown bars/restaurants a few blocks away and is more on the quieter side by the two caves and winery. The one cave at Perry’s has a butterfly house, classic cars and putt-putt, The other cave is a Geo and Winery across the street. Both places are great.The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was amazing, friendly and very helpful. You’re able to rent golf carts as well (all day or by the hr.) Perfect place to celebrate birthday for a quick 24hr trip.

Our tv had no signal the whole time we were there, we ran out of toilet paper after one night, the beds were beyond uncomfortable. It wouldn’t have been too bad if it was a way lower price

The room was barely big enough for anything other than the bed. No chair or any place to sit. The price for what we got was rather high for the off-season. Staff was very nice though.

Rooms are small. One sink outside the bathroom. Shower not great.

The staff was courteous and competent. The room and facility was clean and the location is just off the beaten path providing a quieter atmosphere. Loved it and the OSU Buckeye Theme throughout the property!

Will never stay here again! Failed to tell us the new golf cart parking rules so got a $35 parking ticket. Night clerk banged on our door threatening to call thepolice if we didnt let him in. He accused us of having stolen i-pods in our room. Which we didnt have. I would not open the door I told him I didnt have the ipods. He left to call police. I called the police muself because i didnt trust the guy banging on my door. It was a nightmare being accused of a false accusation.

Room had an adjoining door, which means we could hear the next room's noise. Was like they were in our room. The best part was Jackie at the front desk. Friendly, polite, very helpful, and accommodating to all that I observed. Got us in the room before scheduled check in, and allowed us to store our luggage at the resort even after we checked-out so we could go eat and walk around before we departed. She was great and I can't say enough good things about her.

Nice property close to everything but still secluded

I was very pleased with the friendly and helpful staff. The location was a bit further from the downtown area than expected. Great pool area. Very limited breakfast choices.

No place to take my dog to bathroom. No vending machines. No staff at front desk, had to call and wait for someone. Jackie, who did come was friendly. Wasn’t told they had breakfast in the morning, check out time, pool and hot tub hours. Not really walking distance from Main Street, they did have golf cart rentals on site. Rooms were clean

The rooms were average. They said there was breakfast and there was nothing. They said there was a pool and hot tub but they had closed it for the season, they also said there was a bar and restaurant on site but was also closed down. I imagine if it were earlier in the season they would have all the amenities.

This is a great place that is hidden away from the main street crowds but close enough to walk to everything too. We only go on Sunday or Mondays to avoid the large crowds. Although everything was clean, we were disappointed that there was zero music being played at the pool area. There were no pool towels available by the pool, so I wnt inside to aske for a couple, i was handed old worn-out towels, one of them had shreds hanging off of it. Both towels should be thrown away, never given to patrons. The advertised "continental breakfast " on their website which used to be awesome but not so much now with the new owners. Pre packaged muffins and cereal & only about 2oz of milk left in the fridge , luke warm coffee & juice were the only things they have now.🙁. A continental breakfast typically consists of bread and pastry items like toast, bagels, or muffins to a selection of fresh fruits and yogurt options. Beverages like juice, coffee, and tea will usually be available, along with milk and cereal. On the bright side our room was ready early when we arrived & we were also able to get a late check out. Overall we still love this hotel and will go back, but they definitely need to step it back up to par where it used to be with the pool area and continental breakfast or they will start to suffer losing business.

The staff of the property was arrogant and was not helpful, website also shares incorrect details. I encountered the staff who was doing double shift/duty. On this property she was pumped/worked up and on other property she was nice, I don't know why. It mentions that this property offers breakfast but there was nothing good in terms of breakfast.

We wished they had more than coffee on the weekend, but it all worked out. Location was great, pool very relaxing and a pool bar!! Thanks for a great weekend!!
