Great location with a short stroll to Fisherman's Village. Hotel appears a bit shabby in places and nowhere near as good as the previous hotel we stayed in. I wouldn't class this as a 5 star hotel, it just doesn't have the type of class or amenities you would expect. I would put it as a 4 star at the most. The staff were great and the pool magnificent but rooms not cleaned well and towels provided each day were often threadbare or stains on them. Worst of all was the awful and distinct smell of mouldiness in the room that points to ventilation or air conditioning issues. Coffee/tea facilities in room were poor and the breakfast included was nothing special. The place definitely needs a major renovation.

Brilliant location right on the beach in the quiet part of Fisherman’s Village. The beach and pool were beautiful, and the staff were exceptional—especially Max at the bar who really looked after us. The restaurant food was outstanding, and the spa and other facilities were top-notch. The pool was spotless, with plenty of recliners and great floating lilos. Our room was cleaned daily and always felt fresh. We genuinely couldn’t fault anything and would love to come back—an excellent stay all round. Highly recommend

We loved the relaxed atmosphere and the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff without exception. Live music by the pool bar was a nice touch. Our only slight criticism would be that it would have been useful to have usb charge points in the room

I am really satisfied with my stay at Hansar Samui. Location is wonderful. It is very convenient since Fisherman Villeage is close and also enjoy very nice beach. The room is clean and all staff are friendly. I will defenitely be back at Hansar Samui when I visit Koh Samui.

I have mixed feelings on this hotel. On one hand the property is beautiful - salt water pool is amazing and you’re literally beachside. You’re also walking distance to all the markets and restaurants in fisherman’s village. The flip side is that I just couldn’t get over the room quality. We had an issue with the lack of cleanliness on the first night which they fixed the next day and comped us. But the room was just so mildewy smelling from the AC. It was impossible to get rid of the smell and I couldn’t get over it. I know it’s not just from beachside either because I’ve stayed at beachside hotels in humid weather and I’ve never had a mildewy AC.

スタッフの皆様がフレンドリーで親切構い過ぎず見守って下さり良い距離感で心地良く過ごせました。朝食も日替わりするメニューもあるので飽きずに楽しめます。お部屋からの景色も最高でしたし私が1番気に入ったのは広々バルコニー。ベンチとチェアーが備え付けてあり部屋にいる時は寝る以外ずっとバルコニーに過ごしました。水着やバスタオルなども干せる用にラックがあり朝にはほぼ乾いておりとても助かりました。またサムイ島に行く時は迷わずハンサーサムイを選びます。

It has a stunning view and the room is spacious. It was so surprised to receive red packets during the Chinese New Year. It was so nice to have some toys in the swimming pool. The receptionists and housekeeping staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The catering staff was on the contrary. We couldn't find someone to order even they were free. We gotta walk in front of them and asked them to place order. In addition, they were not familiar with the menu. The hardware of the hotel definitely needs to be improved. Hair dryer, the tv remote control didnt work well....actually, the remote control didnt work at all. The toilet couldn't be flushed properly which was quite chaotic. Pillows and mattress are too soft. Shower/rainforest was not strong enough.

Great hotel, seaview xl room was super comfortable. Breakfast good. All staff very friendly, Bond and Max at th3 pool bar always happy and cocktails were lovely. Pool was excellent and the beach literally 10 seconds away. Bars and restaurants of Fisherman’s Village and the busy night market a 5 min walk away My only minor gripe was the air conditioning was quite noisy at night, even if our unit was switched off.

Vi havde booket et seaview værelse og det var super lækkert. Dog var der en ret larmende aircondition uden for rummet hvilket vi gjorde opmærksom på i receptionen dagen efter. Personalet var meget imødekommende og opgraderede os til et beach front værelse som er større og sengen er derfor længere fra ac anlægget. De gav os desuden nogle drink billetter og ørepropper. Personalet er hele tiden super opmærksomme og hjælpe somme og hotellet ligger perfekt i forhold til alle restauranter og markedsboderne der bliver sat op hver anden dag.

The showers are constantly erratic, no constant warm water, keeps going from cold to boiling water plus low water pressure. Problem was complained about a few times, no solution provided. Toilet with low water pressure, poor flushing, with perforated Rotan door, very inconvenient, No chair or desk in the room, inconvenient positioning of toiletries, no hand soap by or on the sink near the toilet, Definitely not a 5 or even a 4 star hotel. The staff however are very friendly and professional .

Amazing resort, amazing room and most of all amazing staff! If you need anything they are so attentive and helpful - we will definitely be coming back! We even extended our stay by another 5 nights it’s so good. Really peaceful and the pool area is nice and quiet to relax.

i have stayed in this hotel during the last few year, and i will be back again! the staff is amazing and always are willing to help. food is great, clean, location is wonderful. We had to leave the hotel after few days because emergency, and the hotel was amazing, they gave us voucher on the days we could not stay, we are truly appriciate such kindness, we defintely will come back soon! we simply love everything about this hotel! oh if they can do for me a vegan choclate next time that will be amazing too! we will come back again soon for sure!!

The pool was amazing with the most beautiful view, the location at the end of the walkway was quiet and convenient to walk to everything in fisherman’s village , if you need laundry up the road it’s very close, lots of restaurants nearby, nightly entertainment , sitting on the balcony looking out at the gulf was lovely , the breakfast was great ,

Perfect hotel for us. We love the area, the rooms, the beds, the staff. Only thing that could be better is more wine options with better prices. All the other hotels we’ve stayed at this vacation has good french options for rose and white for around 1200-1400 bath.
