Centara Udon

Well priced compared to others of this quality. Parking is not easy but otherwise nice place.

It is conveniently connects to the Central Mall in Udon. Friendly staff, comfortable bed and room and breakfast is good. It has no valet parking. I was told to park anywhere, so I assume I could park at the mall's parking garage. That was a mistake, my car's tire got locked by the malls security for parking there overnight.

It was a 4 star stay. The pool is disappointing compared to the pictures and fitness in a no window low ceiling dark environment. Had lived of rise for a month and ordered pizza in the restaurant “sorry we are out of pizza” never heard that line before.

I have stayed at this hotel before. It is convenient to the mall and has a good restaurant that is open late. The staff is friendly and accommodating. This is an older hotel, but comfortable. The pool is small and not very deep. I like the steam and sauna room in the mens locker room, but the hot tub could be updated. It's a 10 minute walk to the night market. There is a night club near the hotel/mall entrance if you like live music and dancing. If you are looking to shoot pool and have a drink with a bar girl that is about a 5 minute walk.

Great loved the piano bar.

Hotel was nice and room was adequate. The pool was terrible without sun, very shallow, and cold. The gym was nice and obviously the location was good.

Overall it was good, busy room smelt like it needed to be aired out, abit of surface dust

The Hot water was an issue. They have a strange tap. There are instruction but we couldnt get hoymt water. Everything else was good I wont stay here again due to hot water

Nice room & property but AC didn’t work in room. Sweating all night. Reported to front desk in morning and only said sorry. Didn’t do anything to resolve.

Great hotel and my preferred hotel in Udon . Last stay was mediocre. The AC was weak making the room slightly uncomfortable. Past stays it was never an issue

The property is within steps to the central mall which offers endless shopping and dining opportunities. The negative is it is also close to a bar and at least on the Friday night that I was there, the heavy bass from the music could be heard late into the night. Very nice room for the money though.

The room was modern with a comfortable bed. We had a top floor room. The breakfast was very good as well.

My wife and I have booked 40 stays on expedia to reach platinum level in the last 6 months and this way by far the worst hotel we have stayed at . It started with Parking gaurds jostling our car around and making finding parking ridiculously. One person would say park here and 2 minutes later another would come tell us to move . At check in there was a typical and frustrating misunderstanding about Expedia upgrades. After checking in we went for a swim and were chain locked in the pool area at 8pm sharp. when we called to be released from our prison my wife was questioned about who we arw and what room we are staying in rather then sending prop help and being apologetic. When arriving to the room to shower we were both burned by extreemly hot and random flucuations in water temperature. Hopeing for at least a good dinner we ordered in room dining . The food order arrived very intrusivly and incorrect. There were multiple phone calls made to our room with confusion about the order. The order was sent in 2 deliveries my wifes food arriving 30 minutes before mine. My soup ice cold and my sandwhich full of a # of ingredients that weren't even on the menu. I ordered a chicken club and got ham and egg and chicken om 3 pieces of bread ??? Additionally our voucher for free drinks issued at check in was not honored . I will never be returing here and I suggest anyone considering this location to look elsewhere VelaDhi is a nice hotel near by with an amazing restaurant & pool .

Upon arrival the male receptionist insisted my booking did not include breakfast. Even after challenging him he disagreed. Then finally admitted it did include breakfast. No information was given on facilities. WiFi or anything at check in. Only the denial of breakfast and ridiculous deposit request. The WiFi in the room kept dropping during my stay. I would have serious reservations in booking this hotel again in the future. I would call it complacency and contempt

Centara Hotel in Udon Thani has a great location—very convenient and close to the shopping mall. The food is good, and the staff are friendly. Overall, a great stay.

Second location i stay with and both doesn't recognize the Expedia/hotel .com VIP access. This location no welcome drink but i did ask to changed from twins to single bed.

Front desk staff was very rude, I asked about the laundry bag if I could have some, upon checking out, I was shocked to see that there was a charged on my bill and I asked why, the staff said that I did not know how to read the sign. I was in utter shock that such statements could come from service staff. It was a male front desk staff that said that to me. Please do note that your breakfast could improve as well. quite dissappointing

Exceptional service, beautiful people working there. I've been to so many countries and so many hotels, and this place is the best hotel I have been to in terms of everything.

I specifically requested connecting rooms. Front desk should do a better job with guest requests.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Udon Thani. The room was superb and very comfortable. All staff were very welcoming and attentive to my needs from the time I arrived till the day I left. The service was beyond my expectations, this is a very classy hotel and I will definitely be staying here when I next visit.

This property is right in the heart of Udon Thani! Plenty of dining options at the shopping mall right next door! Easy walk to UD Town and other awesome restaurants and cafes nearby! The swimming pool is awesome and will definitely be staying there again the next time we’re in Udon Thani:)

The hotel is next door to the big mall, Central plaza. There are Starbucks, McDonald's,KFC and other street food in the basement and Top supermarket inside the Mall. There are tuk tuk you can catch a ride in front of the Mall. You can ask the hotel to call taxi for you as well.

Great central location for shopping and amenities. Lots of restaurants nearby and would be a great place to stay if you have kids as the shopping mall is attached to the hotel.

The Good Perfectly located next to the mall. Front desk service was competent and check in/check out was a breeze. Rooms were clean and look like they were refurbished a few years ago although the bathrooms weren’t. The Bad The porter service is non existent and they stood watching on while I had to load 6 large luggages into 2 vehicles upon checking out. When my travelling party of 6 (with 1 disabled person) checked in, I had to call the porter to come over to help with the luggages even though he was stood not 10 meters away and was available. The nearby bars (100 meters away) were blasting loud music way past 2am even after the new year celebrations and the heavy bass sounds could be heard even through the sealed windows in our rooms which were above the 10th floor. Can’t imagine what it must have been like for guests on the lower floors.

Great hotel in the center of Udon. Everything you need is available by walking, taxi or grab. Easy and enjoyable stay in this hotel. Directly connected to the big shopping mall

Kanonbra hotell med kanonbra frokost

This hotel is attached to the main shopping mall in Udon Thani. As you would expect this hotel easily reached the excellent grading. Efficient/polite staff. Excellent hotel dining options. Plus numerous restaurants in the mall. Room spotless. Wi-Fi strong and reliable. In my opinion I will stay here again anytime. Very enjoyable experience. Well done.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und direkt neben einem grossen Shoppingcenter. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend und alle sprechen gutes English.Frühstück sehr reichhaltig und von guter Qualität. Das Hotel ist sehr empfehlenswert.

Very nice place and next to Central shopping mall. Drinks are a bit too expensive at rhe hotel specially for Thai standards.

Vi er kommet her igennem de sidste 10 år. Og desværre er kvaliteten af fx morgenmad faldet drastisk igennem årene, fra at være fantastisk til nu ligegyldig. Værelserne stadig ok, men trænger til renovering, nogle senge er fine andre lagt totalt i stykker. Måske det er tid til at finde et andet “transit” hotel

Convenient location. Good, tasty breakfast selection. I like the restaurant food. The only negative is the pool, shallow and needs up dating. No attendants at the pool for service. The hot tub in the mens room is old with chipped paint and needs replacement. Good size mens locker room with steam and suana, good place to relax. The hotel is a little dated but reasonably priced, I would stay there again.
