Perfect Location. Excellent facilities

Hotel Asia has been around many years and it's elegance continues to shine. Minor disappointment was no hot water kettle in the room. They did have instant hot water next to the elevators but no cups, tea or coffee provided. And there were many stains on the hallway carpet where people apparently spilled coffee enroute to their room. Has 2 lovely swimming pools well maintained and big enough to swim laps. Wonderful staff.

double swimming pools are great and relaxing. Hotel staffs are fantastic and friendly. Gym is a great place to work out. Transportation is very convenient. I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel on my next trip to Thailand.

The hotel is in a great location, very close to BTS skytrain and metro line to the airport. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The gym and pools are a plus! The hotel restaurant is open 24 hours and the food was delicious.

Carpet makes the room smelly because humidity was high in April. Hotel is a bit dated but the location is very good. They have a direct connection to the BTS. Staffing were helpful and pleasant.

A bit outdated and the beds are kind of worn out, we could feel the springs in the night and cleaning was poor. Dirt in bed and behind the pillows.

Friendly staff. Immaculately clean room. Nice surroundings. Variety of restaurants. Very convenient for sky train and 7/11 shops. Breakfast was included but didn't get chance to go.

My first visit to the Asia was 1993 and I have been a regular visitor since. I loved the hotel, its location, staff, ambiance, food etc. My last visit was in 2018, this the 1st since Covid. What a disappointment. I had read the reviews and the hotel had been updated. That is not entirely true. Ground level has been completely changed from a bright welcoming place to like entering a dungeon. It is so dark and a constant smell of sewage. We had a drink once and needed the torch on our phone to see the menu. The concierge team were excellent but the reception team while helpful were unfriendly and uninviting. We had an executive room. There was absolutely no update since my previous visits. Furniture old, badly marked, stains on the carpet, fridge very old. I dread to think what a standard room must be like. This is no longer a 4star hotel. You have to pay a deposit of 1,000Bh on arrival which you are told will not be returned for 45 days after departure. (Pay cash if you can as this will be returned to you when leaving), I needed to print a ticket, 2 pages for which I was charged. My sister and I were there for 5 nights left for 5 and returned for 3. The room on the 2nd visit was even worse. The fridge should be condemned it was so rusty and we were over a generator so no sleep at all. Changed room next day and we were upgraded to a superior room which was absolutely no different from the executive room other than it was quieter. Breakfast was good. Such a shame.

The hotel room and hallway were smelly. The carpet in hallway was very dusty. The hotel should consider renewing air vent system or install air purifier. Topping up of food during breakfast was very slow esp hot dishes. Bell captains were helpful and friendly. Housekeeping staffs were attentive. The female staff wearing black coat who appears to be supervisor ignored one guest who was requesting pen and paper only while I was queuing to check out. The servers for breakfast seems overworked due to overwhelming number of guests.

The room was clean and large, the hotel location was great, and the price was good.

Overall pretty good. Great location. Very convenient to take the BTS. The hotel room is a little bit old and out of date, but considering the affordable price, it is acceptable. The lobby is very beautiful. The internet is not very good. I had three zoom meetings during my one-week stay. The internet connect is barely okay. I got dropped a few times. I won't recommend people who are intent to attend online meetings to stay here. I asked them for faster internet and they have none. Overall, considering the price, I have little complaint.

Probably wouldn’t stay here again. There’s only 2 outlets in the room and 1 of them didn’t work. The shampoo and soap they give you isn’t even enough for 1 night with 2 people. They also don’t give you a clothes iron. I think it’s to make you pay for the laundry service since we had another Bangkok hotel nearby that let us use one. The closet can’t even be called a closet. There’s no way you could hang up clothes in there. It barely qualifies as a cabinet. Service was bad, they didn’t even orient us to anything at check-in. Not even sure why they require a 1,000 baht room deposit given the hotel’s dated rooms. Only plus side is location to metro.

Die Zimmer sind wohl länger nicht mehr renoviert/saniert würden. Überall.im Flur und in den Zimmer ist ein urarler Teppichboden der wirklich nicht mehr sauber war. Im Flur hat es immer nach Urin gerochen, wir vermuten mal dass es an dem alten Teppichboden lag. Ansonsten super Lage, gutes Frühstück und freundliches Personal

The room needs updating big time. Having to step over the bath for a shower is dangerous I nearly slipped. You need walk in showers. UN

Hotel is close to BTS station, 10 minutes to MBK and other malls. Clean, Big but room was very noisy from road.

The hotel has a prime location right off the BTS and one stop away from the airport rail link. I have been and out of Bangkok several times in the past few months picking up and dropping off family members, I chose this hotel because of the location and convenience. It also has an amazing breakfast buffet. There are 2 pools and a gym. The pools are a little dated but still in fairly good condition. Gym is very good. As far as the rest of the hotel, it really needs some updating, specifically the rooms. They are very tired and old. The carpet itself feels weird, almost greasy, I wore slippers in the room because of how it felt to walk on it. The fabric on the chairs and headboard of the bed were very badly stained. The room just had a very old smell to it as well and needed some air freshener. The blanket on the bed looked like it came from my grandmas house in 1960. The staff was exceptional! Breakfast staff was wonderful. Pool attendants constantly tidying the area. Front door always opened with a greeting. There was a young man who worked at the front desk (who I regret I did not get his name) who was outstanding. I dealt with him several times over my stays and he was just wonderful. Always helpful and efficient. He would sometimes wear a ring that was a watch and two hello kitty bracelets. He was the best!

L'entrée de l'hôtel est belle, bien situé, personnel agréable mais nous étions dérangé dans nos chambre par le bruit important de la central de traitement d'air du bâtiment d'en face (notre fenêtre donnait en face de leur toit)... Demandez à éviter le côté impair et le 7 ,8 et 9ieme etage

TV 32"size is too small. WC is too low and electrical sockets for charging devices too few. In summary, hotel assets are dated. Otherwise an excellent layover. Fifth stay over 3 years.

Check in experience was very bad. At first couldn't provide large bed in premium room although this was requested. Had to made it very clear I wasn't happy. Didn't help when colleague started to laugh as she thought it was funny. They found a room with a large bed relatively quickly but it's always a problem EVERY TIME I check-in over the last 20 months. I've booked another hotel in Bangkok for my next visit in November.

Har stannat på hotellet flera gånger, mest pga läget och då varit nöjd. Denna gången blev inte alls lika positiv upplevelse. Extremt kallt i rummet och AC går inte att ändra, högljutt och väldigt lyhört. Fick väldigt otrevligt bemötande vid incheckning kl 01 på natten när jag snällt sa att jag bott på hotellet x flera och känner till frukosttiderna osv att personalen inte behöver ta det med oss, utan vi vill bara gå och sova efter en lång resa. Fick då korten kastade emot mig och personalen höjde rösten och skrek ” go and sleep then, go and sleep”. Det är inte så man behandlar sina gäster.

Staff are extremely helpful. After the Earthquake hotel took great care of the people. They gave us all free food and drinks.

Incheckningen tog orimligt lång tid. Fin reception men något tråkiga allmänna utrymmen uppe i hotellet. Vi hade ett kylskåp som gav ett konstigt ljud ifrån sig var 5:e minut.

The bell / concierge / information desks staff were very helpful and friendly BUT the front desk staff were the opposite. The front desk staff were NOT pleasant at all, NOT helpful, NOT approachable, and did NOT display good customer service. The front desk staff would mumble something in Thai to each other when you ask them a question in English and then laugh as if mocking you for being a non-Thai speaking person. Thailand is a beautiful and its people are friendly BUT the front desk staff of Asia Hotel were NOT. I am NoT staying again at nor recommending this hotel to any traveler. BAD customer service of front desk staff!

Conveniently located with covered walkway from the Ratchathewi station. Check in process was seemless, friendly very helpful staff. Room made up every day with fresh sheets, towels and toiletries. Buffet breakfast was great value with a good range of food choices. Checked out at 10.00am, but we didn't have a flight until midnight - so staff safely stored our suitcases after checkout so we could have another full day exploring Bangkok, before returning to pick up our suitcases that night.

Clean. Staffs and services are very good. Walkable to Siam Paragon and Platinum Mall. Hotel is linked to BTS station.

Convenience location for public transport BTS station connected to hotel entrance. Shopping and food are many choices to get and walkable distance to MBK Shopping centre.

BTS直結で帰国便が渋滞する時間帯は空港迄の時間が読めるので近年は良く利用している

When I travel to BKK, I always stay at this nice iconic Hotel. It is well located, convenient access to the BTS station, from the 2nd floor. Just renewed. Good food options. I like it very much

The hotel is literally connected to the BTS.

The location was amazing, next to BTS Skyline stations, so very convenient to get around, especially as a tourist. Big rooms considering being in Asia, even though the rooms were a little old. But clean and nice lobby.

The hotel has a connecting stairs to the MRT, very convenient if you are taking MRT to the airport, walking distance to the shopping malls. Our room was spacious, plenty of room to put our luggages. Staff of the hotel were all friendly. All in all it was a nice experience staying in Asia Hotel. Would highly recommend

Super hotel considering the price... though likely constructed in the 70's, it shines like new and has been well maintained along with some modernizations. Super location close to the city center.

Breakfast Is 99% asiatic and people Who works in the hotel do not speak English. But the hotel is nice and really close to MBK and other malls

The hotel room was nice. Great air conditioning and everything in the room worked well. Extremely convenient location with direct connection to Ratchatewi BTS station. One of the front staff was a bit impolite, speaking very quickly and not foussed on us while speaking. Breakfast buffet was just OK; no bacon, however, if you are a bacon and eggs type of person. All in all, a good stay.

Convenient location and looks upscale; but while the public areas like lobby and dinning hall are updated and nice, the guest rooms our outdated. They would not check us in early or check us out late but they would hold on to our luggages through concierge. I would stay again because of the location and complimentary breakfast (which is served on a generous buffet spread). Wonderful stay overall.
