hotel has virtual check in, that was not on the booking site or i did not see it! all went well but it's scary that if you can't get in then what? I don't have international calling so how can I call? or what if you lose your key? or it stops working? based on that alone I would not stay there again

Booked well in advance, received a notification that the breakfast area will be under refurbishment and breakfast will be served in bags with option to cancel the breakfast. Upon check-in we entered a building site from the front door. We couldn't access the room, the key card didn't work but thankfully there were spare but had to make 2 trips to get the spare. The room was small and i felt claustrophobic. I called to clarify that the room didn't match the photo. We were given a change of room same size but without a divining wall. Breakfast didnt arrive on day 2. Not a great stay overall. Location very central but have to careful walking through martim moniz square. I was verbally abused by gangs hanging around.

Foi uma decepcao a chegada ao hotel, pensei que houvesse recepção, pirem tudo e por email, ou whatsapp, Recebi o codigo para abrir a porta, com o barulho da rua bao se ouvia a mensagem, gracas a Deus havia um casal esperando receber a mensagem de como receber a chave do quarto e nos abriu a porta, estavam a mais de hora aguardando, nao era o que eu esperava, nunca houve uma pessoa para nos ajudar, tudo Inteligencia Artificial, o numero de telefone para contacto, ninguem responde, se deixa me sagem e nao se tem o retorno, extremanente desapontada, ainda bem wue nao houve falta de energia eletrica, nao seria possivel entrar , poia a porta tinha acesso a codigo eletronico.

Muy mala organización. Al llegar al hotel dejaron la tarjeta de l habitación en una security box , pero al entrar a la habitación estaba ocupada. Eso genera sensación de inseguridad y nadie nos respondió el llamado ni mensajes ni nada. Debimos irnos a buscar otro hospedaje en el último momento.

Habitacion limpia y espaciosa para 3 personas, con una pequeña cocina para tener cafe, te y frutas en la nevera. tiene un supermercado en frente y una tienda de conveniencia a 20 metros en la misma cuadra. self-checking funciona excelente. llegas en metro por la linea verde, las estaciones Intendente o Martim Moniz son las paradas cercanas. el checkout rapido y sencillo.

The walls are paper thin. Heard people knocking on doors all night and loud conversations in the lobby (i was on the 2nd floor). The place smelled like mildew and the bed had hair on it. Bathroom was nice and so were amenities. Didnt feel the safest in the area, but liked having a grocery store across the property.

Es ist kein richtiges Hotel, keine Rezeption, in einer schrecklichen Strasse mit vielen Obdachlosen und direkt neben zwei Imbissbuden. Von 10-16 Uhr ist Helena im Haus, der einzige Lichtblick. Sie versucht alles am Laufen zu halten und ist sehr hilfbereit. Zimmer wären ok, dafür aber selbst zum Innenhof laut, wegen vieler ACs. Blick zum Messi Haus mit 30 Katzen, widerlich. Das Bad die reinste Katastrophe. Dreckig, Armaturen defekt und roch schrecklich nach Kloake. Frühstück entfällt wegen Renovierung des Frühstückraumes. Auf Wunsch Frühstück in einer Tüte am Vortag im Zimmer. Alles trocken, hart und nicht essbar. Wir haben es storniert und Geld zurück bekommen. Das Zimmer hätten wir gerne vor Anreise storniert, da uns mitgeteilt wurde, dass Renovierungsarbeiten stattfinden. Ging aber nicht, da die Zimmer davon nicht betroffen waren. Expedia hat nicht geholfen! Fazit: Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit, Rest unterirdisch, Expedia hätte reagieren müssen, da bei Buchung von Renovierungsarbeiten nicht die Rede war.

Schönes, großes Zimmer. Sauberkeit war in Ordnung. Sehr hellhörig und der Abfluss der Dusche hat stark gestunken. Gegend war relativ dreckig und nicht wirklich schön. Gute Anbindung zur Metro und schnell in der Stadt.

Buona struttura, ottima posizione per girare Lisbona. Consente di arrivare a piedi nei principali quartieri ed eventualmente in 5 minuti si arriva alla fermata della Metro e alle principali stazioni dei Tram (compreso tram 28). Pulizia mediocre, forte odore di scarico nel bagno verso sera. Servizio cordiale da parte del personale. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo.

This hotel made me so ill for the remainder of my holiday. There were two windows in our room and both led out to a passage with no fresh air, just a tall, narrow passage that held all the AC units. As a result, loud noise and hot air spilled into our room. The AC dried out the air and there was no fresh at at all so the lack of ventilation made me very sick.

Great for a short stay, bed was comfy, small balcony was great, high ceiling, clean bathroom. Easy to self checkin. Only negative thing is that it was a hot night so I had to sleep with the window open and the area can be quite noisy.

Hotel com recepção automática, quarto bem legal, bonito, tudo novinho, aconchegante. Até com itens de cozinha (talheres, pratos, xícaras), que não tivemos em nenhum. Frigobar, microondas, cafeteira. Uma varanda com vista para a avenida, vista agradável, próximo de vários comércios, centro com restaurante e pontos turísticos. Super recomendo! Quem vê a porta de entrada em meio a restaurantes não imagina o quarto que vem, muito legal. Wi fi bom, pega super bem, hotel de frente para um mercado. Me surpreendeu.

Don’t book your stay here. The front desk staff was extremely rude and just had an attitude. The whole hotel smells like a sewer and when we complained they didn’t even provide an air freshener. The rooms have ac but the AC doesn’t work effectively the rooms were so hot we had the ac to the lowest setting and still woke up to sweat all over

We were fresh off our redeye from the U.S. and looking forward to our week in Southern Portugal and Spain when we knocked on the locked glass door at Lisbon 5 Hotel, behind which we observed a woman at a desk. After a minute or so, she rose and opened the door for us, and I (a Spanish learner eager to demonstrate skills as well as sensitivity of being in a different country) responded, “Gracias,” echoed by my wife. That effort touched off a shocking, scorched-earth condemnation of our sentiments by this woman, who lectured us that in Portugal, the correct phrase is “obregado.” This wasn’t a friendly tip from our hostess; it was a hostile dressing-down in the tone of a schoolmarm. I drew a deep breath, apologized, and hoped that was the end of it. It wasn’t. She then demanded to know why I hadn’t read the check-in instructions she said were sent to me, which caused me to scratch my head in exhausted bewilderment and reach for my phone to check my Expedia app. (I later discovered she had sent them to my seldom-used Whatsapp account without notifying me of that fact on Expedia.) “Never mind,” she snapped, and brusquely ordered us to produce our passports with the tone of a hostile customs inspector. I began to giggle nervously. She then asked for my email address, and I complied by reciting it. “WAIT!” she ordered. The giggling increased. This was – by a country mile – the most hostile reception we have ever endured, more akin to a prison reception than that of a hotel.

Building was old, but well maintained. Construction was going on at front of building, but was not really a trouble getting in/out of the building. Location was great and close to many restaurants, across the street is a grocery, and the plaza and other landmarks to see are in the surrounding area. Ana in front desk helped greatly with our check-in process and keeping our luggages and getting it to our room before check in time.

We stayed for 2 nights, and it was good. I would say the outdoor of the hotel is quite deceiving from the pictures that are posted, I was unsure of where it was till I saw the sign. However, the inside of the hotel was clean and nicely put together. There is no receptionist but it was super easy to navigate on my own. Bathroom and rooms were nice. The hotel is also a short 10min walk to the district which is a bonus, overall I would recommend this stay for couples/groups, just be cautious of walking alone a night and avoid some parts of the street.

Great location with easy street access and simple access to downtown. Would stay here again. Seeing many other travellers drag their luggage over cobble stone streets inaccessible to cars to get to their accommodations made us very grateful that we stayed here. Building also had an elevator which was a happy surprise!

Schönes sauberes Hotel. Die Lage ist praktisch aber nicht besonders schön. Es gibt Obdachlose und am Bahnhof lungern viele Männer rum. Wir haben das Frühstück abbestellt für mehrere Tage und keine Erstattung erhalten das ist absolut frech!

A entrada do hotel parece de uma pensão simples e me assustou quando vi, a rua também não é das melhores, muito movimentada e um pouco degredada, porém quando entrasse no quarto é outra história. Quarto super espaçoso, limpíssimo, muito bonito, cama excelente, ótimo chuveiro. Tudo novo ou muito bem conservado. Café da manhã simples mas com coisas muito frescas e gostosas. Fiquei apenas uma noite mas gostei bastante.
