Studio 6 Extended Stay - Austin, TX - Midtown

AC worked great! Wi fi was slowwwww. Broken glass and trash everywhere in this neighborhood. Restaurants nearby looked nice. Friendly staff interactions.

Parking was easy but I had to go back to the office to get a new card because the card I was given wasn’t working, so I had to drive back to the office. That was really inconvenient.

Coffee basically not provided. Some appliances in the kitchenette weren’t working. Parking lot and walkways had trash. No ice machine. Otherwise is was a quiet comfortable stay.

This studio 6 has gone the extra mile to ensure all the little things are taken care of. Examples of this are the laundry room is spotless and air conditioned. Extra rubbish bags in the rooms and when sonething unfortunately did break was fixed the very next day.

The room its self was good … the outside isn’t kept well. Someone just needs to clean the parking area more often , full of trash

Dirty dirty dirty! No ac! Bed smaller than advertised. Weird strong smell! Mold in drawers! Cracked tiles not for bare feet. Dirty bathroom!

It had Roaches The bathroom door was broken.The heat didn't work.The shower rod was coming down The linen look dingy and dirty.

This property should be inspected properly for breaking several health code violations. From my check in period until 2am I killed around 5 roaches in the room. At 2am I was woken up to the tingling of a bedbug on my forehead!!!! They immediately switch me rooms, just for that room doors down to have the exact same problem. Bed bugs and roaches I simply showered left and they still refuse to provide me with a refund

Everything was nice and clean except there were tiny roaches at night time in the kitchen area but other than that the hotel is clean and good price.

So the first room that we were putting in was fine and then I was about to lay down and a few roaches come from behind the bed. The reason why I’m giving two stars instead of three, it’s because the second room that we got after the first roach invested room. I had got a second room number 220# and they didn’t have roaches the last time I got 220 about 2 weeks ago. But long behold then same thing happened. Me and my boo were about to lay down and two of them came out from under the bed and kitchen.

Motel was okay. Work on front door and sign wasn’t as clear at it could have been to locate second entry. Room was surface clean. Refrigerator had cockroaches. Friendly lady at the counter upon check in.

Horrible experience went into the room and smelled like cigarette then in the restroom there was 2 cockroaches would never stay there

As expected from an extended stay facility, Studio 6 has everything one needs in accommodations, including a full size refrigerator, two burner stove, microwave and kitchen sink. I only stayed one night, but I typically travel w two coolers; one for food and one for beverages, including water, soda and alcohol. I can refreeze my freezer packs over night and reuse when I pack up in the morning. If you like an iced drink, bring ice. Get a bag or buy a cup of ice somewhere. Overall, a great experience. Professional, courteous staff, w 24 hour check-in.

The room itself was perfect for our needs. Full size refrigerator with ice trays was a plus.rooms are a little worn down and in need of a refresh, but acceptable for the price. There were only 2 pillows and the bedding was scant, if you need a few pillows or get cold, bring your own bedding. The only problem was we ran out of coffee in the room after the first night, and the front desk did not have any.

The air conditioning was poor. It would cool the room for a little but then get hot randomly. The beds weren’t comfy woke up with body aches. Other than that it was an average affordable place. The parking or area in general seemed sketchy.

Everything is like 5 minutes away. You have three restaurants at walking distance. The room is very spacious. What is not said is that you have to leave a 50 dollar deposit and if you are going to use their pans and such there is a 150 deposit fee. If not you are only given one pan and on spoon. In our visit our stove did not work. We had already bought the groceries before checking. We were left with our groceries but were given a discount on our room.

I have 2 complaints about my room. The water pressure was very weak. So weak that it wouldn’t switch from bath to shower and that made for a very cold bathing experience. My second complaint was the heater did not work properly. I turned it on as soon as the cold front hit and went to attempt a shower. The heater was blowing cold air only which dropped the temp of my room considerably. I enjoy staying at this hotel and make it a point to stay here every time I’m in town for work. I certainly hope this issue gets fixed.

The room was spacious. The bed was uncomfortable. The door was hard to open. The kitchenette was nice though.

Very hard to find even with GPS. Check in was easy even though we showed up several hours after the office closed. The room was smaller than what the pictures showed. The refrigerator did not work. The freezer worked as the refrigerator until the last day, then it decided it would work which froze food that shouldn’t have been frozen (but I had no other way to keep it cold) and I had to throw it all away. The kitchenette is why I booked the room so we could save $$ by eating in but there was nothing to cook with…that was not in the description either or I may have looked elsewhere or brought something to cook with. When we contacted told the office about the problems they acted like it was known about and dismissed us like it was no big deal. I will not stay at this place again.

It was too hot with none working a/c

Dont believe those BS reviews this was a perfect place for a week+ stay it was quiet and clean and staff were friendly. The kitchenette was very helpful. When you first walk in the rooms though, theres a little smell of moisture but you will quickly get used to it. Overall, i would stay here again if i had to.

It was aweful. My wife and I will never stay there again mostly because of the rude front desk person, Robert, with a terrible attitude. He had my wife in tears.

The short Mexican midget behind the counter will go out of his way to make sure you have a terrible checkin if he’s not just blatantly taking out his aggressions on life on you. He keeps inviting me back to his room when ever I stay there and I keep telling him no. So now everytime I go there he has started making up reasons to get me to leave. And this past time actually told the booking site I went through that I was using fake is and credit cards to check in. They quickly realized that he was lying after I just sent photos of everything. But my point is be very very careful when going here. Their game is to take people who have paid reservations and not let them check in so that they can keep the nights rent and re rent the room. They also have you put a deposit down (not one other motel 6 out of ten in all of Austin charges a deposit. None.)and you are required to go checkout and if you are s minute late or if you don’t bring the paperwork with you or if you don’t go to checkout period they keep your deposit. U are also required to show if to get your deposit back and thats if they decide you deserve it back and haven’t made up some excuse like they did for me to keep it. I’m not joking I have reported these people a total of four times now to various agencies. And this time Im decided to make sure everyone knows.

The person checking us in was extremely rude and inappropriate with his tone. He was very condescending instead of welcoming. I refuse to stay here upon check-in. I did not stay here because of how poorly he treated us. I totally get how people have a bad day, but he should have not let it out while working and doing his job.

Room was not cleaned. Came back to dirty sheets. The stairs leading to the rooms had a step that is broken thus unusable. When I checked in, the guy at the desk had terrible service. Guy really hates his job. I walked out to pick up an uber, the smell of marijuana was coming out of three rooms

On my first night staying there, my tools got stolen. I went to the office in the morning to see if they could help me report it, but it was closed. Looks like they don’t open early. I went back later and they didn’t want to help. Honestly, I felt really let down by how they handled it.

The manager, Robert, went above and beyond to accommodate our special needs.

Checkin was delayed by 2.5 hrs and they wouldn’t even accommodate us with a later checkout…only 30min. Pictures do not match the reality as well. This is a mistake we won’t be making again in HR future.

Un staffed on weekend have paper up saying call this # if you need anything. My room key failed to work the second night of my stay had to call # and wait until someone showed up to open door to office to reprogram a working key card

Good place, clean , good location and good price

I didn't know that romms face the outside and it can be noisy, but the good thing is they have green area for your Dog and is nice, also lots of restaurants to choose from and even walk there and eat.

Theres a lot of homeless people walking around the outside the rooms and around the parking lot

I was in town for a business conference and needed a room for a single night. The room was spacious with a good refrigerator and coffee maker. The property has several restaurants nearby and is only a few minutes' drive from many attractions.

The pictures are deceiving. I like to cook when I travel for work and save money so I make sure to get a room with a kitchenette.. The fridge didn't work. And while I had a kitchenette, there were no dishes, silverware, pots or pans. Nothing. I called the front desk thinking I had to request those things and they said nope.. they just don't have them.

No plastic cups or coffee cups but it did have a coffee maker so no coffee for me in the morning. Not to happy.

Great rates. Full Kitchen. 2 elec oven burners, microwave, & refrigerator. The staff is the most helpful & kind, I've ever experienced
