Great property right off the freeway. Easy parking with excellent bright lighting. Check-in was fast. Owner politely offered to store our expensive bikes (two) in a locked storage area for no additional charge. The morning attendant (Christie) was very helpful in checking us out, and retrieving our bikes. All and all, a great stay. We will be back!

Liked that there was a walkin shower in the bathroom instead of having to step into a bathtub to shower. The only negative thing re this property was a very strange unpleasant smell in the pool area

Close to I-40. Restaurant next door. Pet friendly ($25). But pool and hot tub still not available last 6 months.

The facilities feel very new and everything is very clean. I enjoyed using the exercise room.

I was disappointed with my stay, I expected much better. The pool was out of service and the breakfast was very poor – they didn’t even have oatmeal. I will not be coming back here

The pool and hot tub were closed. They said we could use the pool and hot tub at another hotel, but that was certainly inconvenient.

It was good except the pool was not open and we booked for the pool. We didn’t know until we checked in and no refund was given even though nobody informed us that the pool was closed. I looked online and indeed it said it was closed from July something to August something, but I never received an email letting me know this with the option of rebooking at a different location or even a voucher for another time. The stay was good, although some of the things in the room were run down or broken but we just needed a place to swim and sleep. Overall it was good.

Pool was out of order. Couldn't watch the world series. Had to be moved to another room because the TV didn't work. Breakfast area smelled like burnt toast and stunk up my clothes.

Cheap but a bed for the night. It’s a tired hotel. Pool closed. Everything a bit old and well used

Absolutely disgusting. The stench in our room was a combination of dirty diapers and old lasagna. I was sick too my stomach all night. We slept on top of the blankets because it was so gross and dirty. I did not even bother to take a shower or eat the ice or breakfast. The room with the ice machine had about 2 inches of water. I will never come back here again. It should be condemned. Trust me. The night clerk was absolutely adorable and so sweet.

The front desk was very friendly, the hotel and rooms were very clean. I highly recommend.

Bedroom area was clean but bathroom was so nasty, it looked like there was blood in the tub, TV didn’t work and there was no coffee. Definitely not the standard of choice hotels.

I’m sorry to write this but the truth must be told. My brother and I checked in at the hotel and upon arriving at the hotel entrance, we got hit with a terrible sewage smell. We immediately asked where the smell was coming from and we were told that it was from the drainage and that the city of Amarillo had been notified about it. The lady who checked us in said that we wont smell it once we’re in our rooms but that wasn’t true when we went in our room. You could still smell it. The room was alright but had an old carpet torn carpet, old lamps and everything else was old. Anyway, we ended up checking out were told that we would get our full refund. The website makes the hotel and the rooms appear all new and clean but that’s not the reality.

Dining area was very clean and had many options. Room was clean and there were plenty of towels.

The only thing good about this hotel was it was right off the highway. It was dirty the bed was uncomfortable as hell! Felt like the mattress was about 20 years old! Carpet & bathroom floors & walls were dirty a hole in the wall corner going into the shower from it being exposed to water. We were only there to sleep a couple hour so we could get back to AZ earlier in the day after we had already driven 12 hours from Indiana. Went down in the morning to see if they had any coffee in the morning & the girl setting in the chair behind the counter was asleep & someone else had already been through there & left their key on the counter. It took quite a bit of noise for me to get her attention to wake up. Definitely did not feel like a very safe place.

Property had a foul smell in room and common areas

Super clean and nice. The price was lower than expected and the staff was friendly and very helpful. I'd stay here again in the future.

Our room was horrible. Our TV was broken. When trying to have someone fix it, he was rude and hateful about it and didn’t believe that there was something wrong. (it kept automatically switching to the analog snow screen every few minutes.) Then, the desk chair was broken in a leaned back position. To top it off, our air conditioner was not functioning. The room unit was set to 65, but the thermometer on my alarm clock showed it was 79 in the room. We slept terrible because we were so hot!

Most of your king rooms the tvs didn’t work including ours. You can hear every noise in that hotel.

After trying to get the key to our room 3 times we were put into another room which had a door that was hard to open and didnt close all the way on its own

Toilet seat was too loose and therefore unsafe - I fixed it. Shower curtain rod totally loose, not properly installled - I fixed it. TV picture jumpy on all channels, almost unwatchable. I fixed it by unplugging the power supply then re-plugging it in. Then all was well. Amounts to inattention to room functions and safety.

Clean! Check in very polite and easy. Air conditioner didn’t work well. Stayed warm all night.

Was surprised how nice the room was. I was especially happy with the walk in shower. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. I will be staying at the location again. Easy on and off the I40.

Greeted by a very friendly Ali, and checked in efficiently. Comfortable room and bed. Just a little noisy in the hallway late at night.

It was a comfortable bed. Hot shower. The fact that they allow pets is ok but when you put a dog that barks all night next to a family without pets is annoying.

The location was good. Lots of restaurants around it. I didn't like the fact that when I opened the curtains my view was the back of a parapet wall, but, otherwise the hotel was comfortable and nice.

The bed and pillows were so comfortable and I’m picky about these things.

On Dec 21, 2023 I arrived at Sleep Inn & Suites West Medical Center, Amarillo, Texas to stay one night at a reserved room. I checked in, got two key cards from the desk clerk who said his name was Donny, and proceded upstairs. After trying both keycards numerous times, I hauled my suitcase back down to the lobby. I told Donny that the keycards didn't work, expecting that there might have been a mistake in coding them. He told me that the key cards were crap, and sometimes guests had to try up to twenty times to get them to work. He said he would re-code them, but that was just the way it was. I said I was not looking forward to hauling my suitcase up and down. Instead of trying to be helpful, he straightaway said that if I wanted, I could find somewhere else to stay. I had driven all day and did not want to start searching for another hotel, so I put up with what has to rank as the most rude, unhelpful clerk I have ever had to deal with. I considered reporting him to the hotel manager, but I had to get up early the next morning to continue my trip. I was going to let this go, until... Until I received my credit card bill, and discovered that I have been billed twice for my one night stay. Do not do business with this hotel. The staff are incredibly rude, and the either careless or blatantly dishonest.

Was suppose to accommodate for wheelchair but when arrived was told there was no wheelchair accessible rooms, felt disrespected when asked to provide certification for service animal even after explaining all paperwork has been packed due to out of state move (also is against HIPAA) so ended up paying an additional $50 more than originally quoted through Expedia. I would not recommend for anyone with special requests

I’ve stayed here numerous times before using Expedia. This property has really declined and is in bad shape and the desk clerk was very unaccommodating and rude when I checked in.

We arrived late at night, but Donnie at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. The room was amazing and very comfortable and clean. Couldn’t ask for more!

Check in was quick and easy. The staff was great! Breakfast was good. I had to do a late check out due to my family being sick and they worked with me on that! The staff was very kind, friendly & personable. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely stay with them!

Karriyn (don’t know if I spelled that right) was an amazing concierge at the front desk who assisted us with check in. Our rooms A/C and the fridge had no power in our original room so she gave us a new room on the same floor! She was incredibly helpful. This hotel also had a decent breakfast selection in the morning which we greatly appreciated during our stay

Anytime I'm in Amarillo, this hotel is my go to. It's has a Pizza Hut and Outback Steakhouse in walking distance.

Easy, right off Hwy

As soon as we arrived there was a man blasting loud music out of a portable speaker. It looked like he was begging for money. We didn’t like the fact that he was in the hotel’s parking lot and were hesitant to leave our things in the car. We arrived to an empty lobby and pressed the button to be helped to check in. 15 minutes later someone finally arrived. The room was dirty and old by at least had a comfortable bed which is what we needed. To our surprise, there were no full size pillows just small square pillows. We asked the receptionist for more pillows, and he said he would help us but never did. Overall, poor customer service and will not stay in this hotel on our way home. We have already booked another hotel in hopes of a better experience.

This property was easy on and off of Interstate 40 in Amarillo, TX.

Easy to get to. Comfortable room. Within walking distance to several restaurants.

The entrance was extremely dark upon arrival. We arrived late, 11:30 pm and we felt unsafe leaving our car in the darkness and entering a dark foyer and lobby. Very uninviting and depressing. Gentelman behind the counter was unfriendly and uninviting. Made me uncomfortable.

The room was clean but extremely noisy. The breakfast was disappointing. For three days they did not replenish the juice or yogurt. No packages of oatmeal, no milk, and only old apples for fruit.

While the property was conveniently located, the thermostat didn’t work well, the hallways smelled so bad that we wore face masks, and the breakfast was sparse and abysmal. There wasn’t even enough food for a full plate, and what we think were scrambled eggs looked like poorly-cubed tofu.

Check in wasn't good at first and the breakfast wasn't good. The rest of our stay was good. Next time the ownerof managerneeds to keep comments to himself.

One night stay on the way to Colorado from Houston. Staff are friendly. Breakfast is delicious and many items to choose.

We had an amazing stay at this property, the staff was super friendly, there was a steakhouse right next door with really good food. The room was comfy and big, we love to stay and will stay again in the future when we're passing through the area.

For the price it was good. Breakfast was fair. Hot water for tea was barely lukewarm. No eggs guess they ran out. Bathroom was dark with yellowish lightbulbs. On check in the keys weren’t coded so I had to go back down to desk to get clerk to do it

There were big stains in the room carpet. Holes in the bed sheet, and lamp shade. Light fixture was falling apart, apparently broken. Breakfast was lousy. Looked like scrambled egg whites.. and some diced potatoes... No meat. Totally disgusting place. Should have walked out but I was to tired..Traveler Beware.

Woman at evening chek in was professional, efficient and delightful. The hotel, and room was amazing quiet, even with an interstate close by. Breakfast was hot bu no bacon or sausage. Beds very comfortable, but all pillows were too large. Wish hotels would give a mix. Pizza Hut and steak house were next door.
