I really enjoyed staying there but their elevators seemed like they might quit any given second and the house keeping staff kept banging on the door asking us when we were going to check out and entered the room before we were done inside. Other than that no complaints. Rest of the staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel itself was clean and tidy.

Shuttle to and from the airport was free and efficient. They had onsite dining which was good. There was nothing around within walking distance which was inconvenient. The hot tub was broken which was disappointing but the pool was heated and nice. Great service and friendly staff.

We have stayed at this place 3 times and in 10 months we saw no progress with their construction. The construction signs looked worn out. I am surprised to see business meetings and weddings being held there.

Nice place. Elevator wasn’t working. Had to call the front desk to send it up to the second floor or take the stairs down. Great housekeeping, clean room and good quality toiletries and soaps

Airport shuttle was so easy, quick pickup and scheduled the shuttle for the next morning upon check in. Front desk was super nice and helpful. I had dinner at the restraunt and it was good. The room was exceptional. So clean and comfortable. Bed was just right. Really nice bathroom. Had everything I needed. I would definitely stay again.

The property was great, clean, excellent pool, and staff is fabulous. My only complaint is that in our bathroom, there was a drain hole in the floor, through which a terrible sewage odor came and stunk up the entire room 24/7. It also came from the sink drain. Room 306.

Unfortunately the hotel was having some maintenance issues during our quick stay. The hotel stunk of sulfur and the rooms barely escaped the smell. We told the staff and they seemed unbothered. The smell was truly awful. When we asked the front for towels they told us to find housekeeping. Thankfully it was a short stay because it was not pleasant at all.

Probably one of the worst properties we stayed at recently. Not clean at all, bathroom was filthy. We only stayed 1 night and checked in little later in the evening. Didn’t wanted to go through the hassle of changing rooms. Won’t return for sure!

First of all: the whole floor that our room is on smells like corn dogs, and if it isn’t clear that’s a really bad thing. Not just like someone carried in terrible food for the evening, but it still smells that way this morning so the smell has permanence. The floor of the room had brown grass on it so it was clear it had not been vacuumed. Coffee machine was dirty and all of the coffee condiment packets were partially used but not replaced. The fact that there is no free coffee in the lobby and a $16 charge for breakfast in a place as dumpy as this is astounding. Dated decor is not a big deal to me but when things are so worn one can’t tell if it’s clean that’s an issue. The main lobby and the ground floor spaces belie the nightmare that’s happening above. We’re only staying for one night and I’m so glad because this place is a major disappointment.

Staff seemed courteous and hotel seems renovated recently and clean. However despite the newness of the room some poor construction and renovation decisions. The floorboards were noisy from design. The shower was tub siz with no tub and water constantly made for a wet floor in the admittedly roomy bathroom. The worst was the low to the floor bed that had a super hard uncomfortable mattress. Did not sleep well which is vital in a hotel room. The sofa in the room was actually a slight bit more comfortable. Location for airport is of course great but nothing around it and a bit pricey for not sleeping well. Would I stay again? Probably not if I can find a similar room of better price point.

We had the loudest AC unit ever!! It woke me up every time it kicked on and it’s Phoenix - so it’s on a LOT. Be careful about making sure you know if breakfast is included with your room before you eat! We were more than halfway done before we were approached to pay for breakfast and then it took four tries to get the bill right. I do have to compliment the front desk staff at check in, the shuttle driver to the airport both had wonderful customer service!!

It was a quick overnight trip with grandkids. Room 220 is a suite that offers a hide-a-bed. It is time for a replacement. This couch bed was so uncomfortable no one wanted to sleep on it. The two queen beds were very comfortable.

Hotel rooms need significant work done on them, very old & run down and not what you'd expect from the Holiday Inn brand. Lamp in room looked like it had been in a fight with Freddie Kruger there were that many rips in it. Chair/stool had so many rips in it, it will put you off using it. Chest of drawers & table are almost falling apart. Bathroom had longterm stains, rust, wood missing, damage to shower screen, stains on tiles and damage to sink area & stains all over it as well. Carpets throughout are in need of a good deep clean with some needing replaced. Bed was comfy & clean which was a positive. Reception staff were lovely and helpful as were the cleaning team. Breakfast team where a whole diffdrent ball game! We were reminded breakfast was included in room rate, but we were expected to tip! Waited for around 15 minutes before we were offered drinks, as the staff were huddled up at the door counting tips, playing on phone and what looked like gossiping - we were only 2 people in the restaurant! Very unprofessional and we felt like an inconvenience asking for tea & orange juice. I wouldnt stay here again or recommend it to anyone. Poor show Holiday Inn

I have stayed here many times for classes I take. It is super close to the airport which does not benefit me. The staff is very friendly. I always bring food with to save money and time. This is the second time all my food has frozen in the fridge. I kinda assumed when I noticed that they had remodeled and it looked like a newer fridge, that I was safe. Checked for temp controls, nothing obvious🤔 so loaded it up. But after one night everything was frozen solid. When I brought it up to the front desk (2 times) I was told we will let maintenance know…not ‘I apologize’. I feel this is more on the part of the hotel policies…not the staff. But seems pretty simple to apologize. Also could’ve offered me some vouchers for the restaurant as a kindness. But nothing. Pretty basic customer service. I spent money on food that was wasted because of the faulty fridge and it was barely acknowledged.

Terrible late night check in. Shuttle of displaced passengers arrived just before us. Two newer people at front desk seemed to struggle to check guests in. It took about 10-15/guest to check in. No acknowledgment by staff to say sorry or thanks for waiting. Finally a night manager checked us in in her back office and was apologetic. Spent probably 40 minutes waiting in line. Get some help and training at front desk. My check in took 3 minutes. Hotel was fine. Industrial area though.

Room was comfortable and clean but TV did not work nor did coffee maker. I called the desk twice to get the coffee maker replaced, both times I was told it would be taken care of, this never happened over a two day period. Very disappointing!

Shuttle pickup from the Airport was non-existing. We were told 20-30 minute wait time. After 45 min. We called the hotel and they could not contact the shuttle driver and not offer an alternative transport to the hotel. Also, when we finally did check in and in our room, the checkin desk person then assigned our room to someone else, who actually walked into our room before realizing we were there. Our room key was no longer valid. Won't stay there again.

This property is beautiful, clean, and large enough for events. The staff at the desk were knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile. We returned our rental car after checking into the hotel since our flight was early the next day. They arranged the shuttle to pick us up and drives back to hotel. The shuttle got stuck in traffic, so they sent and paid for an Uber! Nice!

Veronica, the evening front desk manager was a super hero. The airport shuttle driver was unavailable and Veronica stepped up to drive the van to get us at the airport. There were nine people waiting to get on the van, and I know we were all grateful for Veronica's extra effort!

Served our needs of being close to airport for early departure flight and a very late return flight. This was right near the highway. However it was the location we chose due to it\'s location close to airport and airport parking "The Parking Spot South". The service was good even though we showed up very late in the evening due to our flight arrival time. Room was clean and sufficient.

5-night stay, first night I ate in their 1 restaurant. I got the classic burger,, I comes out looks great,!! Edges had chard black edges looking like it just came off the grill,!! IT WAS STONE COLD,, yep,, cold. The slice of American cheese just lifted right off,,never melted to meat. That tells me they are pre-cooked and kept in the fridge. There wasn't ANY Residue heat at all. So they slap it on the grill for 5 seconds -flip- another 5 seconds- serve. Last time I ate there. Breakfast was $15 per day, I ate elsewhere the rest of my stay.. Other people in my group said food was garbage (their words). I saw a lot of door dash deliveries,,, You have to drive 1.5 miles down University Dr into Tempe to start hitting restaurants.

The staff are all very friendly. The bar, and dinner menu were both adequate, although the service for both food and drinks was very slow. It was quite busy, however, and perhaps there were staff shortages? Either way, this hotel fits the bill for a one night stay, very close to the airport, and complimentary shuttle with friendly driver. ( Lance). Jason at the front desk was also very kind and helpful. They have no lunch provided in the restaurant, only dinner and a buffet breakfast, but we walked 10 mins down the road and found a Denny's. Rooms are okay, but could have been cleaner, and more up to date for the price. We found it quite expensive.

The renovation to lobby really makes this hotel entrance much more inviting. It would be nice if on site food service and bar in the lobby was open till 11 pm for late arrivals. The rooms of the hotel have a mixture of old and new - old furniture and renovated bathrooms. I would stay again. Front desk was very helpful - had an idea of local restaurants open late.
