1.- Alberca sin funcionar durante toda la estancia y en temporada alta, NUNCA se notificó al momento de reservar, lo cual de haberlo hecho, no habría reservado! Me mandaron a otro hotel con alberca diciendo que me incluiría un camastro y toallas, solo contaban con 3 camastros (todos ocupados) y no me dieron toalla, argumentando que el hotel Reina Roja debía proporcionarla, pero al mismo tiempo ellos decían que no se podían sacar las toallas del hotel… 2.- El elevador dejó de funcionar varias horas por supuesto mantenimiento, teniendo que usar escaleras. 3.- 1 día no hicieron servicio de limpieza a la habitación y no avisaron. Otro día dejaron toda la basura que contenía el bote hasta el día siguiente, yo tuve que sacarla por el olor. 4.- Llamas a recepción y nunca contesta nadie. En general muy mala experiencia de hospedaje, empezando por la alberca, en las fotos es parte la oferta que venden y al no estar en servicio, no existe una relación justa precio - calidad! Ya que pague por algo que no recibí!

En general muy cómodo y bien ubicado! No se informa que estaba en reparaciones y había ruido de los trabajadores; así como la alberca y azotea estaban fuera de servicio y el jacuzzi en el lobby estaba solo con agua fría, el primer chico que me atendió me dijo que estaba fuera de servicio y no era así! Y yo agregaría una plancha para ropa en las habitaciones! De ahí en más es una buena y cómoda opción en PDC

Teníamos expectativas de la alberca,para nada se parece las fotos publicadas,no pudimos subir ni un día ya que tenían un montón de herramientas,parecía bodega,lo único rescatable es el servicio del personal del hotel,todo el tiempo fueron amables.

Esta bien la propiedad, solo que cuando subimos a la alberca que esta en la parte de arriba estaba muy descuidada y sucia el agua por lo mismo; les faltan algunas cosas, no se si ya no les conviene o que pasa, pero simplemente después de las 6 no tienen servicio para bebidas o comida si es que no avisas que vas a requerir el servicio, algunos servicios extras podrían ser que les falta un microondas para las personas que compramos comida afuera, nos sobra y al llegar al hotel no tenemos en donde calentar, aunque hay lugares fuera en donde se puede, pero se podría evitar y que el servicio sea excelente así como hielos para los que traemos bebida y se nos hace más fácil hacer todo ese tipo de cosas en el hotel; y por último el estacionamiento, lo cobran pero no está en buenas condiciones y eso si se me hizo injusto que no venga incluido con el hospedaje del hotel.

My stay at La Reina Hotel was horrible. The hotel room was unclean. there was actually open condom in my room and a residue of semen on the curtains. This was disgusting and the bathroom was not clean at all. they didn't bother to clean the bathroom. Worse place i ever stayed.

I had a bad experience, i should have read the reviews before booking here. The hotel is nothing like the pictures, nothing at all! Nothing like the description either!! Its very deteriorated, the bathroom does not come with bath robes nor hair dryer, there is no mini bar no coffee maker no safe no ceiling fan…… as everyone has complained we also had trouble with the key, which you got to try multiple times to make it work. But worst was the pillow cases smelling definitely not clean, to someone else’s perfume… we had to call and request clean ones which we never received until we went down to front desk to ask for them again. As per the staff they seem friendly but definitely not professionals.

Al reservar EXPEDIA ofrece “estrictas medidas de seguridad, limpieza e higiene para darle la más segura bienvenida”, hotel con VIP Access, 3.5 estrellas y es todo lo contrario. No existe un control de limpieza en ninguna parte de las instalaciones, las albercas están asquerosas llenas de grasa, basura y hongo, hay basura tirada en el piso por todos lados, los baños son desagradables, sin papel, sin iluminación y con mal olor. La habitación tenía toallas manchadas, el aire condicionado lleno de polvo y moho, las cortinas rotas y mal colocadas, la silla sin cojín, el minibar sucio, el balcón lleno de basura como si no se hubiera revisado en días, la puerta corrediza no cierra, la manija de la regadera estaba rota y la ducha aún tenía restos de jabón del huésped anterior. Las bebidas que ofrecen aunque tengan costo son de malísima calidad. A pesar de que cuenta con estacionamiento disponible, en recepción te indican que debes pagar para apartar un espacio (esta es una de las principales razones por las que reservé este hotel y en ningún lugar indica que tiene costo adicional) tanto en su página web como en EXPEDIA se indica que el check out es a las 12pm y a las 11 am ya están pidiendo que te retires, adicional a eso al entregar la habitación no te puedes retirar hasta que alguien sube a revisar, nada profesional ese trato al huésped. Lo único agradable fue el staff de bar en rooftop y la persona que sirve el desayuno, muy amables. NO LO RECOMENDARÍA A NADIE!

La habitación olía mal y no hay ventilación. El personal de recepción es grosero, interrumpió mi check in un par de veces para pedir una bebida gaseosa en su termo y para hacer una broma con el de seguridad. En general es lamentable que el mal olor de la habitación genere desagrado de pasar tiempo ahí.

L’hôtel devrait être fermé car est en rénovation. Ils font des travaux pendant la journée et pendant la nuit c’est un bruit insupportable de la boîte de nuit voisine La douche ne fonctionne pas bien et l’internet est trop lent On a manqué d’électricité et les serviettes de bain sont dans un état lamentable

it was not a good experience. The power went out, they had cockroaches. Contruction, roof patio and pool closed. bad service, no coffee maker, toilet broken, no fridge. picture had balcony and they said i didnt get one, they gave me one eventually. no blankets in the room, but asked and got one. shower was great. came back to the room after a fun day at the beach and the security chased me to my room and asked where my bracelet was I said they never gave me one, it was uncomfortable. stayed there before but its gone down hill

Let's see, There's no windows in the room! The WiFi went down my second night and never came back. Pool was closed. They were Jack hammering with work. I left a very expensive dress shirt when I checked out. Went back the next day a it's gone. Stolen!

Location is the perk of hotel but it is in dire need of renovation. Did not have working lighting in restroom and no water pressure.

O Chuveiro não esquentava, o café da manhã tinha pouca opção fora comida local, o rooftop era muito ruim. Quarto confortavel, mas não me hospedaria novamente. Ponto positivo é que podia usar o rooftop de outros hoteis da rede.

Conocia este hotel ya fui dos veces tiempo atras pero lamentablemente empeoro muchisimo. Le falta mantenimiento profundo, el hotel antes tenia mucha vida ahora esta solo casi parece abandonado no hubo gente solo el guardia y la recepcionista. Un elevador afuera de servicio, el cuarto sin secador de pelo y carente de mantenimiento y buena limpieza habia una cucharaca encima la mesa del cuarto. La ducha oxidada y faltaban piezas, los focos medios quemados. Es una lastima el hotel ea muy lindo y tiene un concepto peculiar, bien ubicado y muy linda terraza pero algo paso pues ahora parece apartenecer a una cadena hotelera pero empeoro mucho era mejor antes sin duda. La buena noticia es que pague solo 930 pesos por la noche practicamente nada pues por eso el precio. Por ultimo en la mañana ya desde las 7.30 am empezaron ruido fuerte como de reformas y peor aun la camarista con musica de corridos a todo volumen en el pasillo, pues nadie le explixo que no esta en su casa y pues los huespedes descansan en la.mañana. Tienen que ponerse la pila y rescatar ese lugar porque aun estan a tiempo.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks. From the get go we had issues with plumbing in our room. We repeatedly told them about this, they’d come, but it was never actually fixed. We were eventually given a bucket to fill up the toilet tank with our bathroom sick. Finally we just had to ask for a new room. The pool was occasionally closed randomly which was unfortunate and is due for an upgrade. The policy is that you have to ask daily for a room cleaning at reception, which wasn’t an issue. It was just that a couple of times the cleaning never happened. Going to the beach daily you’re bound to bring in some sand and it would’ve been nice to have our room cleaned every time we had asked for it. It wasn’t all bad. The staff was kind and the location is amazing. The price was great too.

Excelente ubicación, muchos lugares a pie cercanos, la barra libre de cerveza que te incluye es un plus, tiene un concepto lleno de maniquíes pero es raro y a la vez divertido. Si eres relajado y no exigente este hotel es una buena opción. Pero no lo considero familiar ni para adulto mayor. Las habitaciones muy amplias, la cama regular y si tienes sueño ligero pide habitaciones de en medio que ae escucha todo el relajo de los bares cercanos.

1.- Alberca sin funcionar durante toda la estancia y en temporada alta, NUNCA se notificó al momento de reservar, lo cual de haberlo hecho, no habría reservado! Me mandaron a otro hotel con alberca diciendo que me incluiría un camastro y toallas, solo contaban con 3 camastros (todos ocupados) y no me dieron toalla, argumentando que el hotel Reina Roja debía proporcionarla, pero al mismo tiempo ellos decían que no se podían sacar las toallas del hotel… 2.- El elevador dejó de funcionar varias horas por supuesto mantenimiento, teniendo que usar escaleras. 3.- 1 día no hicieron servicio de limpieza a la habitación y no avisaron. Otro día dejaron toda la basura que contenía el bote hasta el día siguiente, yo tuve que sacarla por el olor. 4.- Llamas a recepción y nunca contesta nadie. En general muy mala experiencia de hospedaje, empezando por la alberca, en las fotos es parte la oferta que venden y al no estar en servicio, no existe una relación justa precio - calidad! Ya que pague por algo que no recibí!

HORRIBLE, My 14k gold ring was stolen, I had to go to the police station to make the report, another guest from a different room got 5000 pesos taken as well. Management didn’t offer any help. The hotel is no longer name Reina Roja the actual name is Kavia and has different administration, also it’s under renovation and the construction workers are left wondering around the guest hallways and rooms all day with no staff supervision, since is getting renovated throughout the day you are unable to sleep due to the loud noises that they make. This was the worst experience that I ever had. Total nightmare. I had stayed in La Reina Roja before and NEVER had an issue before until now that is called different (KAVIA) very disappointing at EXPEDIA for misleading us with a false advertisement and not be updated of the new changes.

Pésimo servicio. Nos dieron una llave de una habitación ya ocupada!!! Y regresamos y nos dieron que no estaba en sus sistema ocupado. Nos cobraron 15 dls por persona para una barra libre que es obligatorio! Y qué en la página decía esta información y solo nos enviaron un correo una vez ya hecha la reserva está muy mal. Pésima atención del recepcionista, la seguridad no existe en el hotel, cualquier persona puede entrar al hotel, las instalaciones están muy descuidadas , los cuartos les falta mucho mantenimiento. Muy feo cero recomendable

Pésimo Servicio del personal en recepción, cero empatia y criterio para el huésped, el check in... son tan centaveros que ni a las 2:59 pm te entregan la habitación por no darte tiempo extra de tu estancia .... TARIFA DIFERENTE A LA QUE RESERVA... te agregan un cobro sin prguntar.. por concepto de barra libre que segun es de 12 de medio dia a las 6pm.. pero como no puedes hacer uso de las instalaciones por que no haces el check in. pues es complicado... segun cuentan con Club de Playa.. te cobran un consumo minimo de 500 Pp.. para poder usar los camastros... y lo peor de TODO, NO TIENEN AGUA CALIENTE EN EL PISO 3... y el de recepción te dice que si quieres puede pedirle a alguien de del piso 1 o 2 que nos prestara su regadera ... JAJAJAJAJ PESIMA EXPERIENCIA NO LO RECOMIENDO

Todo muy bien, solo que no pedí limpieza en la habitación y entraron sin permiso, dejé dinero un fajo de billetes de quinientos, el cual tomaron 3 billetes, yo los tenía Perfecto contados. Eso no se hace.

No tenían toallas porque se les averió la lavadora, la camarista abrió mi habitación sin permiso pese que yo estaba dentro. El frigobar de la habitación perdía agua. Cuando llegue la primer habitación que me dieron estaba sucia comida en el refri el inodoro casi se sale, la nueva habitación no tenía toallas y cuando solicité toallas y dijeron no tenían más, les pedí que me dieran de la habitación anterior que si tenía y me respondieron que ya la habían rentado por lo que no podían darme esas toallas. Hotel en muy mal estado, sucio, le falta mucho Mantenimento. El personal agradable pero les falta predisposición. La gerente de recepción nada empatica y sin ánimo de resolver mis problemas. No lo recomiendo!

En general el lugar, ubicación está excelente. Las instalaciones en especial el estacionamiento tiene basura y el olor no me agrado. La alberca no la usamos porque estaba a un lado de la recepción, algo raro. Arriba había otra alberca que no alcance a ver, en fotos se veía bien. La habitación excelente, clima y limpieza. Nos dejaban detalles como flores en la cama muy bonito.
En general el lugar, ubicación está excelente. Las instalaciones en especial el estacionamiento tiene basura y el olor no me agrado. La alberca no la usamos porque estaba a un lado de la recepción, algo raro. Arriba había otra alberca que no alcance a ver, en fotos se veía bien. La habitación excelente, clima y limpieza. Excelente ubicación. Muuuy cerca de los restaurantes y bares de moda, de la playa principal y de la terminal ADO alterna. Todo en 5 o 10 minutos caminando. Además el hotel bastante bien en general. Incluye un desayuno también bueno.

El check in fué rápido, sin complicación. Pero fué una sorpresa que el estacionamiento tubiera un costo extra por noche de 110.00 pesos, no es la primera vez que me hospedo ahi y el estacionamienro es una de las razones para quedarne. De igual forma anteriormente solo había que pagar al check in, el impuesto de saneamiento de 30 pesos por habitaciòn, ahora tienen un resort fee de 1,550 pesos cosa que no menciona en la reserva, es mas al preguntar sobre de que iba ese “resort fee” dijeron que era por el cargo de desayuno buffet y acceso al rooftop para el uso de la alberca! Cuando en la descripciòn del hotel al reservar dkce desayuno incluido! Al final nos cambiaron de habitación, pues la chica de recepción no se diò cuenta que habia reservado junior suite! No había minibar y por supuesto, aunque la reserva decia incluir botanas y bebidas del minibar, nunca se preocuparon por atender dicho detalle! Pésima experiencia, las habitaciones ni si quiera tienen el mobiliario de las fotografías! Es una làstima, pero el hotel està en decadencia!

Bien solo que el desayuno no es bueno, el hotel se nota que falta mantenimiento .

They charge you an additional $15 a day which includes “free” breakfast and “drinks”. Ok, so breakfast is mediocre and the people there they barely give you something… not much though.. you have to keep asking. You know, you can have a breakfast beautiful and full with everything for $15. I haven’t seen any free drinks, the pool area on the building is not maintained and chairs have mold, so I wouldn’t recommend. I won’t be back. I liked but for this price, you can find better options. Also it is very close to 5th ave, but the music is so loud and you can’t sleep. Then a lot of noise from drank people yelling right under your balcony. Also, lots of cars that make huge noises….My room was ok, but I know I can get for the same money, something much better. Besides this, everything is so expensive,, almost 3 times more. They look at us, tourists, like you are a walking ATM.. so I think I won’t be going to Mexico at all.

Chambre vraiment bien, service à la piscine également. Petit bémotl est: Service pourri au petit déjeuner, c'est un buffet et quand c'est vide, ils attendent que les clients demande au lieu de refaire le plein, exemple cafetière vide, aucun café refait si on ne le demande pas, plateau d'ustensil vide, rien est fait tant et aussi longtemps qu'un client le mentionne etc..... Les employés préfères être sur leur cellulaire au lieu de s'assurer qu'il ne manque rien.

No te hacen la limpieza diario, nos cobraron el estacionamiento. Nos cobraron aparte el desayuno, nada barato. En el desayuno lo mismo todos los días y si llegas mas tarde ya no hay comida, solo lo que sobra. Y nadie se hace responsable si les reclamas.

Such a nice hotel in Playa Del Carmen. Staff is very friendly. Natalia was great. She helped with everything we needed. Room is unique, sexy and comfortable. Rooftop is such a vibe! Loved the Open Bar on beers. Close to 5th Ave which is close to everything.

Cuando llegue me comentaron que no tenían luz en la habitación y que me harían un reembolso de mi recervacion debido a que no me podía quedar. La gerente se comprometió a darle seguimiento a mi reembolso a pesar de que ya le escribí mail. No tengo ni reembolso ni respuesta por parte de nadie

Pésimo servicio. Nos dieron una llave de una habitación ya ocupada!!! Y regresamos y nos dieron que no estaba en sus sistema ocupado. Nos cobraron 15 dls por persona para una barra libre que es obligatorio! Y qué en la página decía esta información y solo nos enviaron un correo una vez ya hecha la reserva está muy mal. Pésima atención del recepcionista, la seguridad no existe en el hotel, cualquier persona puede entrar al hotel, las instalaciones están muy descuidadas , los cuartos les falta mucho mantenimiento. Muy feo cero recomendable
