Good front desk staff. Friendly. I was not offered food and beverage credit hotels.com offered at the reservation. Other than that, fast check in, very comfy room ( except the issue with tv and bathroom) very small gym but functional for only 1 person :) Nice location

Let’s start with the positive - the staff were fantastic and the room is large Negative - bed was very uncomfortable, gym was small and the machines need to be wiped down, no complimentary bottled water offered in the room, the shower leaks onto the floor everytime you use it creating a flood in the bathroom. The breakfast was mediocre at best and not worth euro 22.

The garage with it automated parking boxes was hard to get in (24 euros per night). Mr room had finicky lights, very dark for my liking. I had a nice stay there.

We picked this hotel for the location which was very good. Nice staff and clean room. However the AC didn’t work and our room was too hot. We were told they control the temperature and would bring it down which didn’t happen. They had a sauna that we tried but it was not warm and at check out we were told they need to know when we were using it so they would turn it on (I wish they would mention this at check in). Also most of the TV Chanels had poor signal. There is no coffee maker in the room but we liked their coffee at the small lobby bar in the morning. Bryan made me a very good espresso one afternoon.

We stayed for 3 nights, on arrival reception staff very welcoming and room ready at 10.30am. Extremely comfortable beds, good location and underground station outside hotel. Daily housekeeping also excellent beds made and fresh towels, coffee and a complimentary bottle of water each day. Unfortunately the hotel restaurant was not operating other than for breakfast and hotel bar didn’t open till 6pm.

The location was wonderful, hadn’t any problems with the AC. The internet however, was a different story. Internet in the lobby was great but it was very spotty in the room. Staff were very helpful.

For a 4 star not a comparable international standard, no possibility to get water for free on the floors, no real bar (closes super early), facility doesn’t make the impression of a Hotel, but rather of an appartment House, elevators separated from floors, no nearby grocery

Schönes Hotel, zentral gelegen, jedoch relativ laute Umgebung. Die Matratze war schon sehr durchgelegen. Die Bedienung der Klimaanlage war nicht möglich, da das Bedienfeld defekt war. Sehr freundlicher Barkeeper :-)

2 mal das Zimmer gewechselt. Zimmer zu kalt. Handtücher teils dreckig. Schimmel in der Dusche. Personal nett und hilfsbereit.

Check in was great and the lady on reception was really friendly and helpful. The room was 208 and a corner room with dual aspect. Bed was comfortable, bathroom large and roomy with a great shower. No experience of food and drink options. There were a few negatives however - WiFi was terrible and I had to use 5G on my mobile devices. This is not acceptable for a hotel in this class!! One of the 2 basins in the bathroom was blocked so water would not empty. One of the 'flush' buttons for the WC did not work. The air-con was basic and difficult to control - I was only glad to visit in September and not in the heat of summer. The external window did not work properly and 1 set I could not even open. If this hotel is to compete with the Courtyard by Marriott, only 500m away, the Titanic and many others in the area of Spittelmarkt, it must address these issues. I would not stay again to be honest.

The lobby and hallways are dark and gloomy, and while they market themselves as a high-end business hotel, in reality they’re run down and overdue for a major renovation. The rooms don’t have real air conditioning. Instead, they use an “eco-friendly” system that never lets the room cool below about 22 °C. Ours never dropped below 23.5 °C even after eight hours, and only got there after spiking to 24.8 °C. When we asked for help, staff said they could maybe bring a fan. That took another full day and the fan they eventually brought was old and barely worked. Cleaning was equally disappointing. There was mold on the grout (the shower sprays everywhere and there’s no ventilation or shower door), a yellow stain under the toilet that looked like urine and stayed even after “cleaning,” dust on surfaces, and hair from previous guests on the bed posts. Even basic amenities are missing. There’s no way to stream or cast to the TV, and the internet is so painfully slow it’s not worth using. In 2025, that’s simply unacceptable. If this hadn’t been Berlin Marathon weekend when options were scarce, we wouldn’t have stayed. The only real positive is its location right next to a metro stop.

It was ok, we could walk to all the tourist sites and the train station was close and convenient. But there was not much close to the hotel as far as conveniences like a store for bottled water or snacks. The bed was comfy but the room was not sparkling clean.

Nice view from the balcony. The headboard needed some serious cleaning. Felt a little gross sleeping in the bed with stains.

Room very warm and could not turn heat down Very dusty

Great room, spacious and very clean, wonderful location for access to several Christmas Markets that are all within walking distance. Fabulous staff, would definitely stay there again.

The room smelled musty, the breakfast was too expensive for what it was and the ventilation did not work in the room. Very poor experience for the price we paid.

Conveniently located across the street from the underground. Our room was on the corner and very spacious. The rooms did get very hot in the night and the street got pretty noisy so opening windows wasn’t the best for sleep. The reception staff was helpful and pleasant but we were ignored and not helped when trying to get breakfast on a few occasions.

This is a great hotel. The room was spacious and swanky. The blinds were a little hard to figure out, but not a big deal. Loved the views. Great access to metro.

Modern and sleek hotel by Spittelmarkt metro stop. It’s a quiet part of Berlin but central. We got an upgrade to a junior suite which was fantastic, very spacious! There was a large sitting room area with a small study. The windows are huge so the room (suite) was very light filled. Loved it and would happily come back again

The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The front desk people were very helpful. It was convenient to great restaurants, shopping and attractions. We could walk to the museums and the opera. We will definitely book again next time we come to Berlin.

Clean spacious room. Walking distance to central Berlin.

The staff was absolutely incredible. Rooms were beautiful and large. What I didn’t like was that our room had an average temperature of 27 degrees. All day, all nicht, on all five nights. Their new eco friendly aircondition simply doesn’t work on all the rooms facing south.

Morgenmads buffeten var fremragende. Receptionen var meget imødekommende. Vi var i baren lørdag aften, den unge pige, der stod der, var en katastrofe. Uanset hvad gæsterne bad om, kunne hun ikke finde ud af det, det var lidt pinligt. Man fornemmede U-bahn lige ved eller under hotellet. Helhedsindtrykket er et fremragende hotel.

We stayed in a junior suite which had a fairly comfortable king size bed. I liked that the toilet was separate from the shower. The toilet seat though was a bit misaligned. Overall, an excellent stay with friendly staff, particularly the guy who works at night. I'd definitely stay there again.

A Disappointing Stay in Germany My experience at this hotel was unfortunately below expectations, leaving me to rate it 2.5 out of 5. Check-In: The check-in process was unreasonably slow, taking 25 minutes despite there being two staff members behind the counter. Only one of them was actively assisting guests, which was frustrating after a long journey. Bar Voucher Issues: As part of the stay, I received a €13 voucher intended for use at the bar. However, the bar staff were inexperienced and unable to process it on the first evening. I was told to try again the next day, only to find the bar closed and the voucher unusable with breakfast or any other services. Breakfast: The breakfast was underwhelming. While cold dishes were available, ordering hot items such as poached eggs, scrambled eggs, or an omelet came with disappointingly small portions—barely five spoonfuls served on tiny plates. This left me unsatisfied and unimpressed. Room Quality: On a positive note, the room was clean and fresh, and the bed was decent, though not exceptional. Service: One redeeming aspect of my stay was the exceptional service provided by the male Spanish-speaking receptionist. He was friendly, professional, and accommodating—a true asset to the hotel and a model for hospitality everywhere. Conclusion: Overall, the service inconsistencies, disappointing breakfast, and issues with the bar overshadowed the positives. While the room was fine and one staff member stood out for

It’s ok. Front desk team not nice.

I really loved my stay at COSMO! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. I was able to check in early, which was a huge relief after beginning my travels early that morning. Loved how close the hotel was to the Spittelmarkt U-Bahn stop, as I was taking the U2 line for the majority of my exploration. It was my first time in Europe, so I wasn’t used to some of the appliance functions/features or the less powerful air conditioning. I got a bit warm one of the nights, but that’s mostly due to excessive temperatures in Berlin. I’ll definitely look to stay here again when I come back to Berlin in the future!

Nice hotel. I appreciated an upgrade. The only opportunity for improvement would be their front desk-bar staffing. When you rely on only one staff member to cover the bar and front desk you force guests to wait. Excellent customer service does not include standing and waiting.

We stayed two nights. The staff was excellent. We were upgraded to a suite which was lovely. Many restaurants around and close to many attractions. This was a very walkable location. Highly recommend.

Excellent ‘quiet’ hotel in a nice, safe, neighborhood yet close to many things. Alexanderplatz a quick 3 stops across the street on the U Bahn. Breakfast was delicious each morning. Service from the front desk to housekeeping to the bartender was exemplary. And the room was very comfortable, bright and well laid out. While I had hoped to stay closer to Alexanderplatz, I am quite sure we made the right choice by staying here. And the refundability option prior to our arrival was appreciated as we have an ailing parent at home. Glad we didn’t need it, and we enjoyed our stay.

Modernes Hotel mit tollem Frühstück und U-Bahn Station direkt vor der Tür. Brandenburger Tor und Alexanderplatz auch zu Fuß in ca 20-25min erreichbar.

Staff was really helpful, the hotel looks a little outdated and some facilities look old. Area is very quiet and walkable, but is not that close to some main places. Good thing is that there is a U-Bahn station right in front to move quickly.

Helpful when I left my wallet in the backseat of an uber. Barman was enchanting. Food in the morning was excellent and the service very good. The hotel is close to the subway but the area is otherwise rather dead and while within walking distance of major museums and restaurants it feels rather desolate otherwise.
