Perfect location away from the bustle and noises of the town and just a short walk to shops and dining options. Parking was convenient and felt safe. The unit was very clean with clean linens and a spacious bathroom for our family. The only downside was that we didn't get wifi in our website, as it was located off the rear of the house and was too far from the signal. Overall excellent experience and would stay here again.

We have spent two weeks travelling Scotland, and, this is the best place we have stayed in. Very clean, good size bedrooms and showers. Easy walk into city centre. Safe parking. We couldn't have asked for more for our 2 night stay. Thank you

The room was newly fitted out. The bathroom was lovely with a huge walk in rainfall shower. Freshly painted and decorated . It was a five min walk to the river and vlose to all restaurants and stores. The street is quiet and houses around all well maintained. The beds were very comfortable.

Check in easy. Short walk to property. Lovely room, spacious, comfortable and very very clean (NO DUST AT ALL). Housekeeping deserve a pay rise. Never stayed anywhere as clean. Negatives…. Bedroom door sticks a bit so you have to push quite hard, perhaps shave a little off door to make it easier. Floorboards in room above very creaky. But not that big an issue. So overall, much more positive than negative. Would definitely stay again.

If you need a clean room so you can explore the area during the day, and rest at night this is a good option. It's clean and a 5 minute walk from the bridge. The rooms are small with very basic amenities. Some recommended improvements would be improving the internet and adding a small fridge.

Location was perfect! A short distance away from the tower centre. Also there is a bakery round the corner that was was great for breakfast. The room was clean and cosy, just what you need for a short stay. Walls are a bit thin so you might hear the person next door using the shower for example.

Alban and Abbey House proved to be an excellent choice for two nights in Inverness. It is an easy walk from the centre of town, and has ample parking. The area is very quiet. The rooms are clean and extremely well-appointed, and everything worked as it should. Note that check in and key collection is at a different property a few blocks away.

Firstly, be aware that check in is not actually at this property. You need to walk up the road, approx 5min walk, to another property. Secondly, I found it frustrating and disappointing that i had booked with 'pay at property' as my payment option, but they tried to process the payment a few days beforehand. Meaning it would be an unauthorised use of my card details stored in Expedia. Moving on to the room, we had the family room, which was an add on out the back. It was spacious and the shower had great pressure. Probably good being separated from the main building when you have children. Theres no excessive noise through walls to wake them up for early nights. This room also was accessible friendly. Breakfast not an option. They only offer breakfast to people staying in the reception property. Staff, i didn't find warm and welcoming. More dry and like our check in was an inconvenience. For the reception team, please remember that this is your customers first time visiting you. You might have heard the same questions and concerns many times, but this is their first experience. In saying that, this was my in person experience. I had a lovely exchange via email with Wayne. Wayne sent through some great recommendations, even without prompting and resolved the payment issue quickly without further stress.

The lady who helped me, Margaret, was so amazing and helpful. The hotel is great, the rooms is great, its superb value, and the service is superb. And the owner goes out of her way to help you. Me and Margaret do massively disagree on the key situation, and i firnly believe that two people in a room each deserve a key, as not all people sharing a room stay together 24/7, and thos can caise absolutelyhige inconveniences, but thats just my own personal opinion. I do think this hotel is outstanding, and i will be staying here many more times in futire. I have also recommended it to friends, who will use it on their trip to inverness. Thanks to Margaret and Staff for helping me have an awesome stay. You are simply brilliant!!

Nice guest house!! Very helpful hosts especially when it came to the stupid electric car we rented!! So well located!!! Inverness so easy to walk to!! A fabulous bakery around the corner called The Bakery.

Firstly, be aware that check in is not actually at this property. You need to walk up the road, approx 5min walk, to another property. Secondly, I found it frustrating and disappointing that i had booked with 'pay at property' as my payment option, but they tried to process the payment a few days beforehand. Meaning it would be an unauthorised use of my card details stored in Expedia. Moving on to the room, we had the family room, which was an add on out the back. It was spacious and the shower had great pressure. Probably good being separated from the main building when you have children. Theres no excessive noise through walls to wake them up for early nights. This room also was accessible friendly. Breakfast not an option. They only offer breakfast to people staying in the reception property. Staff, i didn't find warm and welcoming. More dry and like our check in was an inconvenience. For the reception team, please remember that this is your customers first time visiting you. You might have heard the same questions and concerns many times, but this is their first experience. In saying that, this was my in person experience. I had a lovely exchange via email with Wayne. Wayne sent through some great recommendations, even without prompting and resolved the payment issue quickly without further stress.

We had a lovely night here. Check in was friendly and easy, just a short stroll away. The only negative, as others have mentioned, was the footsteps from upstairs, and the smoking/drinking area right outside our room. Location was excellent for a walk into town for dinner and the bakery for breakfast.

A very nice little guest house. We were in a queen bed room in Alban house and the room was very spacious. The check-in site was not too far from the Alban and Abbey houses (which are next to each other). There's a really nice bakery that's a five minute walk, and a Tesco a little further down the street that are both very convenient. The shower is very small, but that seems pretty standard for hotels in the UK at this price point according to our other experiences. Staff were polite and helpful. It was really nice having a parking lot and we always had a space. Would definitely recommend/stay here again.

Good location, 5 mins over the river from main town. Good parking. Check-in is a pain, you have to go to an address 2 streets away. Room was very basic, with a broken chair, but was clean and the bed comfy.
