LSA Mouraria by Numa

The posting advertised air conditioning. This was not true. Air conditioning did not work in the first room. They moved us. It did not work in the second room. I’m not convinced it worked in the entire building. Absolutely disappointing experience.

Suggesting to provide a microwave in the kitchen.

It was out first trip to Lisbon. The location was perfect. It was in the centre of everything, restaurants, shops, eateries, the river. Check in process was smooth, communication thru WhatsApp was good. Room itself was clean and comfy, with a unique design to the studio. There was a luggage storage facility was really useful coz we could check out from our room, leave our stuff and go was a walk before heading to the station. Wish there was tea/coffee available in the room, but it's okay. Overall our stay couldn't have been better. Will definitely stay here again.

The apartment was great, had enough space, with a kitchen that was functional, with all appliances and cutlery and dishes. Shower was very good. The check process was fine, impersonal but worked out well for a late check in. The only major complaint was the location in the neighbourhood was not great. There is a very small walking street to get their that was hard to find unless you used gps; at night this is a sketchy area, with lots of drugs and people to stay clear off, especially at one end of the street where a neighbour told us to avoid; this was after the first night where we saw an english man and his wife speaking to police after being mugged. It was a little bit disconcerting for kids, but if you are arriving before 10 pm it should be ok.

Had a wonderful stay for 3 people in LSA Mouraria. It is a perfect location situated near Rossio station (5 min walk) and the iconic tram 28 station (3 minutes). It also has a supermarket very close by which was useful! The check in process was seamless! I saw a lot of reviews saying this was difficult but it is not the case at all. You get messages via WhatsApp from the team and are prompted to provide passport details etc before the stay. So long as these are provided the access code is sent to you on the day of your stay - so easy! The apartment itself was very clean with all the amenities mentioned and the room service was good as well. We weren’t able to access the safe in the apartment as it was locked. Upon messaging on WhatsApp to the team this was sorted very quickly - they are good with responses. A few reviews mention noise, so it is worth noting. At night (especially in the summer) there is often a small music festival nearby, there was some noise from this on the weekends but it didn’t majorly affect us or bother us personally but worth noting if you are looking for a quiet place. Luggage’s can be stored in lockers for a small fee (€9 for 6 hours I think - fitted 3 hand luggages - locker is quite big). Small downside was the washing machine which we didn’t use as it was quite dirty but that was the only negative! Highly recommend :)
