Waringhouse is on a beautiful property and is in a great location. It was so nice to wake up and have a hot breakfast served each morning. The breakfast choices were wonderful. The only complaint is that the hashbrowns were not good and this was consistent every morning (we were there for 3). We had breakfast out in the garden on our third day and it was gorgeous. We also ate at the pub one night after a day of touring wineries by bike. It was great to not have to think about where to eat after such a long day.

The complex is in a nice quiet place but also very close to Picton which is handy. Plenty of parking and space all around. Really enjoyed the bar and live music, and breakfast was good but limited for those on plant based diets. The luxury suite was very spacious, relatively clean and the bed comfortable, but a couple of things are worth knowing, depending on your preferences. First, the room was really dated, with heavy dusty curtains and old carpet and a stained couch. This made me feel less relaxed - didn't really want to spend time on that couch. Added to this is that the 'fireplace' which is mentioned as a room feature is electric with no heat. I do not mean it is gas, I mean it is a clay model of a fireplace with a red light that turns on behind it. No heat. So if when you see a room advertised as having a fireplace, for a premium, and you get all excited about how romantic and cozy that its, well, lower your expectations! All this being said, people were nice and the apple cider and cheddar soup in the pub was otherworldly in how good it was.

The walkway wasn’t shoveled and full of ice, my partner slipped and fell and really hurt her back! Plus Bugs in the window, dirty!

Yes room was very clean, although a bit dated. Staff, including restaurant staff, were very pleasant. We enjoyed our meal at the Barley Room Pub as well.

We stayed for Valentines Day. While other reviews called this dated, we found this to be super cozy, very private and a lovely, romantic stay! The Heritage suite was beautiful, old school and romatic. We appreciated the fireplace and the hot tub outside. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was included and absolutely incredible. The bed was amazing, we normally have a hard time sleeping on a different mattress but this was great and the four king pillows were very appreciated. The bathroom was nice and very clean. Decore was a bit off from the old style coziness of the room but was still very nice. I dropped a star because what we did not appreciate was the condition of the carpeting throughout and the use of LED style hard white lights in some of the fixtures. It totally threw the ambiance off. The carpet was VERY off-putting and even sticky in some places. Overall, I would definitely recommend the luxury suite. We had an amazingly romantic time!
