Great place to stay! Multiple buildings that have been nicely updated and maintained. Great character in the rooms. Easy to access sandbanks by car. Great views. The restaurant on sight was incredible. And the outdoor (heated) pool was awesome. Will stay here again and recommend it highly!

The property had it’s own private beach and a waterfront restaurant!

Die Anlage an sich erinnert an einen Urlaub im Ferien Lager, eigentlich ganz hübsch, aber schon tw. Renovierungsbedürftig. Die Zimmer sind sehr sehr hellhörig und die Betten leider sehr ungebügend! Der Pool und Strandabschnitt soweit ganz schön. Nähe zu den Sandbänken, toll.

Cost way too high for this dated resort. Toilet didn’t work and plumbing noise disturbed my sleep. Lack of communication from staff. Construction bin outside my room. Pool not working. Not enough beach loungers on beach. Good size room. Not enough privacy with people walking by my windows. Location good.

The resort needs a refresh and update . The pool is closed the grounds are not that well kept. The tennis courts had weeds growing on the courts. The room was clean but very dated and had an extremely noisy air conditioning unit. But the most problematic was the request for a credit card incase of damages incurred to the room which was fine except they charged my credit card . When I enquired as to why my credit card was charged the hotel management said this was standard and I will see a credit in the few days . It had been two days and I am still waiting . I have never experienced a hotel charging my credit card ahead of time. Its customary to have it as a hold / safe guard against damages. I am still waiting for my credit . This not acceptable and I will not be staying at this property again .

Private beach is nice. On site restaurant is a plus...good food and reasonable. On the water. Great sunsets. The inn needs some work, but that seems to already be happening. It would be nice to just access the newly redone pool from the back doors though, instead of having to walk around to it.

Great for families. Have a lovely pool, tennis courts, basketball court, private beach, and restaurant on site. Rooms are a bit dated, but great for families who want to visit sandbanks and dont want to camp. Would definitely go back.

Everything was good. Only thing is that the pool is under renovations and website is not showing it.

We were excited to stay by the water in Picton (which the hotel write-up, suggested) unfortunately, that was not the case. For the price, We expected much more. The hotel room was not even motel aceptable. The carpet in the hallway did not seem to be clean, The water pressure in the shower was low, and the cobwebs and trapoed flies and mosquitoes in thehallway We're not cleared away.. The staff however were very friendly. Everything needs updating, so don't waste your money now, wait until renovations have taken place.

While the location was really lovely, the accommodation was sub-par. The bathroom was just plain dirty. The screens were buckled and didn’t keep insects out. The place was musty and smelled of smoke. The pull out bed’s mattress was absolutely disgusting with huge stains in various areas. There were weird ceiling angles everywhere and we bumped our heads quite forcefully. So hard, in fact, that I seriously might have a neck injury. Time will tell. At $619 for two nights, I feel like we were seriously ripped off. Very, very disappointed. The restaurant, wedding venue, meal, etc., were excellent. Too bad that didn’t carry over into the accommodations.

This needs a multimillion dollar renovation. Old, worn and tired. Our room had spiders and roaches. Thankfully the sheets were clean.

Building was rundown and not clean in common areas

Expedia should not try to book this hotel/ restaurant? The rooms were terrible, dirty, cob webs behind the chairs gross stuff behind the beds. Shower had barely no water. The pool was kinda useable but not clean or shocked. The pool was full of green algae. The rugs up the stairs are so old and dirty and down the hallways. A vacuum over 30 years old at least and cleaning supplies left out in the hall. Smelled musty and mouldy. The beach would have been beautiful if it wasn’t full of sandy rocks. Couldn’t walk with bare feet that’s for sure. Only one sign I walked over to read on the club house door. It stated do not drink the water, do not give to babies, do not put in formula and do not boil the water and drink it. We went and bought a case of water. We paid for two night through Expedia and left after one night stay. They wanted to upgrade us to a beach house we were already packed up and just came home. The lady at the front desk was nice she said take photos and send them over she would let management know. Beautiful property put 100.000 into everything old and gross, update everything, make sure the cleaning staff is doing their job completely correct and it would be a nice stay. Move your well away from your septic tanks make sure you fix your water system and have bylaws for your water. My friend and I would love our money back.

Look for reviews on google. It's pretty bad. Overall not very clean but okay except for the mattress which had a foul smell. They couldn't accomodate us and switch us to another room because it was full. Fully refunded us and the staff was really nice about it. Very expensive for not much, you're better off camping or staying anywhere in Picton!

Room was dated and not totally clean. Hall outside room had debris and was not clean.

There is a warning posted on all accommodation that there are unacceptable levels of nitrates and nitrites in the well water and people are cautioned not to drink it. The bed squeaked loudly with little movement. There was an unpleasant smell like detergent or paint and staff could not explain it. There was room for only one beside table in the bedroom.

Close to different vineyards, rooms are big but old. Needs some renovation. The stairs were hard to go up and down

Stayed on the first floor but I could hear every step of the guests staying upstairs above me.

Dirty carpets. Old furniture in rooms. Air conditioning is a window insert and loud. Staff was nice. Wifi was non existent or sketchy.

I thought the property was modern and I was shocked to see that it was old and dirty!!! Second, the internet was TERRIBLE!!! To me, that's false advertising when the website said FREE WIFI. It should say instead: BARELY EXISTANT WIFI!

We were pleasantly surprised with our Beach House suite featuring, front door parking, two levels of living space with a back deck that had a short step onto the sandy beach that had full reclining loungers. The spacious lower level of the suite had a powder room, a pull out bed sofa, a reading chair with an ottoman, coffee table, an electric fireplace, a television vision and sideboard, dining table and chairs, an adequate kitchenette (except no stove), glasses, dishes, cutlery, a Keurig and pods, sink, toaster, electric kettle, and a mini fridge. Upper level had a king size bed, a large closet, a large armoire with a television, a large bathroom with a combined shower and jacuzzi bath. The water pressure was great and once the hot water had a few minutes to run through the system it was also great! The view towards West Lake was spectacular with the wall to wall windows on the lower and upper! We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was amazing! The front desk and room attendants were great! We were sad to leave after our week stay! 11/10 rating!

Property nice. Room needs lots of improvement. Mattress very soft. Shower head points straight out. You are wet just turning the shower on.

Nice and clean. Easy check-in. Very friendly staff.

The registration lady was most helpful. Because of mobility issues, she was able to do a bit of shuffling to change our room from second floor to a room at ground level. This was most appreciated by us

There were not enough towel in the room. When we asked they didn't bring extra towel although they would. The water of pool was cold and there wete no towel there.

Great property close by the parc. Upon arrival at the room I had to swipe the patio and chairs. The broom was in the closet. Thank god. The check in staff was not too friendly. Could have been more welcoming.

Went for a Prince Edward County wine tour, and stayed here. Very conveniently located close to many of the wineries. The buildings and rooms are a bit out dated, but the grounds were really nice, very quiet, and has its own private beach. Was probably quite the place in its heyday, but is clearing needing further updating. Seems like the owners are putting the effort in, but still have a bit more to go. However, I enjoyed my stay, and would gladly return. Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant on the property was nice, except for it closing on Thursdays.

Well located to visit Picton and other towns in the area like Bloomfield. A country atmosphere, rural and quite. Property was nice to walk around, the woods and the beach. Parking was convenient for easy unloading and packing to check out. Check in and check out were easy and quick and staff were pleasant and helpful. Our room was nice but the screens on the porch need work. Whenever our upstairs neighbours took a shower it was very noisy in our room. A lot of the buildings on the property could use a sprucing up - paint job and general outside cleaning. The Knoll restaurant was nice and convenient and for variety it was easy to drive to town. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Super convenient and better than expected. 5 minutes driving to the sand banks and 10 minutes to Ontario Lake.

Très bien situé dans les Sandbanks. Hôtel calme bien qu’en bordure de route, très arboré, le gros plus est la plage privée (avec des transats). Chambre spacieuse, sdb très propre, coin salle à manger avec un divan-lit, une table, micro-ondes et frigo. Personnel gentil. Assez incroyable pour le prix en plein été.

Great location close to Sandbanks Provincial park. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the sunsets over west lake are incredible

Great property, it’s quiet and the beach is nice. There was no breakfast during the week days so needed to find a spot which wasn’t so close

The staff was super nice, the beach facing lodge room was perfect. We were able to stargaze at nice on the beach. Was super comfortable and peaceful. The restaurant is pricey but the food is AMAZING! If you want a quiet relaxing getaway, you’ll love this. The lodge room is the better than the one with the jacuzzi.

The room was quite beautiful and the location was gorgeous. The beach was small but lovely. The only complaint would be the onsite restaurant. The wait to be noticed at the entrance was exceedingly long. We waited for 10 minutes before leaving. We tried again, this time with a reservation and only waited 5 minutes until someone noticed we were there. We were shown to our table and then forgotten about. Another couple got tired of waiting so went to the bar to order their drinks. We were told the restaurant was busy that night (looked half-full) due to two parties. I would have rather they closed "for a special event" instead of having us waste time there. Went back to our room to order food to discover nobody delivered to the resort. Also, if i had one wish it would be the resort had a breakfast available every day so we would not have to drive into town. (Not a complaint, just a wish).

Property is very old and in need of upgrade. The dinning room though was very good and had an amazing view of the lake. The staff was also very friendly and very responsive to any requests

It’s a wonderful place. The only criticism is the restaurant The Knoll. Disgusting food. Very expensive. Condescending host.

Overall property including restaurant very run down. We used to vacation at Isaiah every year just for the convenient location for biking to Sandbanks. Just returned to Isaiah this year after a 3 year hiatus and it is very dirty. Nothing has been touched. Beach never raked, restaurant dirty, limited drinks (no cocktails), rooms very outdated

Overall, a nice property. Facilities are a little dated but clean. Restaurant only open on Saturday and Sunday for breakfast! Conveniently located if you you plan day trips to Sandbanks Provincial Park!
