When I booked I booked a room with 2 beds because my husband and I both snore and find it hard to sleep in one be. We didn't get two beds. Also we are in oour 70s and there was no elevator although your staff did offer to carry our suitcases. All in all the visit was good.

Very simple, hotel. Breakfast was great! Nice view off the harbour. Parking is way! to tight and congested. Its a older place with a nice modern update. Steps from street life in picton. $300 a night was alot to swallow for what it is.

We had a great breakfast on the property and brought food back to the picnic tables beside the waterfront. It was quiet and a peaceful view. We would return and give a favourable recommendation to friends and family.

Don't stay in a ground floor room. It is car park, with no privacy or view. The ground floor rooms have plastic chairs outside your window and we had our next room neighbours sitting outside our window smoking non stop - yuk. First floor rooms have their own balconies and most had a view of the little harbour. If staying here make sure you get one of the balcony rooms facing the water. Room was clean but not all towels replaced even though left on floor for changing. We had 3 in the room but for several days only 2 towels. Picton is a good location for exploring, only 15 mins to sandbanks beach. Picton has some restaurants, bars, coffee shops so good options. Recommend Picton as a base for exploring but if staying in this hotel, make sure you aren't in the ground floor carpark.

Such a pretty location. Our easy access to the sunny patio beside the harbour was delightful. The room was comfortable and very clean. We were disappointed that the dining room/restaurant was too full for us to have breakfast. We should have in put a request for a table ahead of time.

Plenty of parking either to front or rear of hotel and snow was cleared daily, nice view of the harbour. Breakfast wasn’t included in our room rate, but available at the restaurant linked to the hotel. Room was warm although the fan heater was quite noisy, room was clean enough and close enough to the centre of town. Staff all nice and friendly.

Very basic rooms and our shower had mould at the bottom, and water leaked all over the floor after each use. The bathroom door was very noisy and wouldn’t close properly. Just find it overpriced for what it was. Beautiful location though and right by the harbour and downtown Picton.

I stayed for a couple of nights for a weekend getaway with my husband. Here are our impressions: Pros: - Good sized room - Comfortable beds - Clean linens and towels - Walk-out balcony - Nice, large TV - Plenty of outlets to plug and charge devices - Friendly staff - Self check-in/check-out - Convenient Parking - Walking distance to Picton Main Street Cons: - No cleaning service during our 2-night stay (at $183 tax per night, this was rather surprising) - No closet for hanging clothes. There was a wall rack with hangers, extremely close to the front door; we basically bumped into our coats every time we opened the door. - We only got complimentary coffee for the first morning, there was no coffee the second morning. - Thin walls! We could hear noisy neignhours stomping around and making noise above us for a few hours during our first day. - Not enough/storage shelving in the bathroom - We had a hard time juggling with our toiletries on the very narrow glass shelf above the sink. - There is no light in the desk area - the closest lights were the ones between the beds, on the other side of the room.

Parking right outside our door and views lovely. Dirty in bathroom, rim in tub dirty and light up on wall chrome dirty. Also shower curtain ripped at bottom but overall fine and we would go again!

It was a really lovely, centrally located, clean, comfortable and super friendly place to stay. The staff is amazing and are very quick to ask if there is anything you need to make your stay better. The onsite breakfast/lunch restaurant is AMAZING. Best breakfast in Picton. The only thing we missed was they would benefit from a better tv selection like Netflix or Prime. You couldn't tell what was on each station and there were no movie or series options. Its nice at night to settle in and watch a movie or pick up your fave series. Otherwise, it was lovely.

I had very poor to no wifi in my room. The lighting was dreadful. I know most of the rooms have pot. Lights mine did not so I had poor light and no internet. The room was clean but clinical. Given the price it was terrible value. The view of the water is nice. Phone ahead and make sure you get a view. The staff is friendly but they couldn’t fix any issues for me. So in summary clean, well situated, friendly staff, good parking, short uphill walk to Main Street. Call ahead and ask questions. Also at certain times of year be prepared for mosquitoes in the evening if you want to enjoy the water view.

Comfortable room, bathroom had lots of space for toiletries. Staff member on duty was very attentive when we had an issue with the tv, she replaced batteries in remote within minutes, great service.

Beautiful view of the Picton Harbour from the Rosebud Suite. Check in was a breeze and Jeremy was very helpful with his texts regarding check-in availability. Comfortable bed and clean room. Only complaint is the location of the AC right next to the bed. Very loud and cold breeze for the person sleeping on that side of the bed.

We had a one night stay. We basically got in late slept and checked out. We loved breakfast at the restaurant. We were very disappointed with the person that checked us in. We stood at the counter for quite sometime before we were acknowledged more than 10 minutes. She answered the phone helped the person before even saying hello. Then it felt like we were scolded because we did not get the check in text. That text came at 11pm the night we checked in. After all this the code we received to open the door did not work. Our early check in was to help us refresh after our drive. We ended up being late to the wedding that we were attending.

Very nice basic no frills hotel. Electronic check in and out so don’t expect friendly staff as there are none. Location off of Main Street by harbour is its strength. No amenities just a Motel room.

Wonderful find - warm and friendly staff in all parts of the Inn and restaurant who were attentive to our needs. Everything was easy and convenient - check in, checkout, changes, parking, food. Short walk to restaurants and shops. The room was spotless and beds were comfortable. Lovely view of the harbour. Will return for sure.

The view of the harbour from the balcony was wonderful. The room was clean with a microwave, mini fridge and a Keurig coffee maker with pods provided. The location to the Main Street was convenient and walkable where there were many restaurants, shops and a movie theatre.

We booked a room (non cancellable) them immediately received a text saying the doning room was closed. The advertisement clearly said restaurant on site and breakfast available. We would not have booked this room had we known in advance. Also the railing for the stairs up to the room was covered in ice and the stairs were very slippery even though they were salted.

The balcony view was nice but I didn’t like the bright lights on the balcony at night. I had issues with the AC/fan unit and I didn’t find the bed linens very comfortable. Front desk staff was excellent - friendly and helpful. Overall, I thought the small room was pretty basic for the price - $350 per night not including breakfast. It was October so not even high season. Breakfast excellent but not free.
