What I didn't like was paying for parking. It would be different if the parking area wasn't on the property. Everything else was nice. I wasn't greeted as nicely as I have at other Embassy suites. I wasn't offered the complimentary water upon arrival. When I was checking out I had to ask for it. The free coffee was good. The breakfast was good. High five to the omlet maker. Pool water was cold but no circulation. Gym area was nice and clean. I wouldn't mind staying there again. It is about 20 minutes from downtown Savannah but I didn't mind the drive back and forth.

Pillows weren't great but the most frustrating parts of our stay was that the air conditioner didn't work, maintenance came and fixed it but then it stopped working again leaving us very hot during the night while trying to sleep. To top it off, when we booked we booked for location and amenities, to include use of pool that was out of service. Having known this I would have booked elsewhere

I paid a lot of money for this hotel only for our family to get away and have fun in the indoor pool. 90 degree weather outside yet the piol was icecold and our kids were upset and felt let down. The hot tub was closed as it always is. Wasted money.

The property was not well maintained. It was very disappointing. There was a kitchen gas smell the entire trip. It was concerning. The pool was not cleaned. The only good thing was the omelets.

The hotel itself was nice, but out of 3 elevators only one was working. The indoor pool was not clean and the jacuzzi was broke, broken ice machine, the breakfast was delicious, would stay again if those items were fixed.

The first night we could hear the AC unit in the room dripping water very loudly all night. We saw a cockroach in the morning. They switched us to a new room the next day and the second room was much better. Staff was polite, but the cleanliness of the rooms was about a C .

The furniture was old and soiled, I did not even want to touch the couch. There was a lingering smoke smell. The tiles and grout in the bathroom needs scrubbing, stained and dirty. The carpet has past its limits, 5 year carpet going on 15. Curtains old and frayed. For the price, I expected better. I asked about dining at check in and was told there was dining, only to find out the bartender made a few fast food plates.

The staff and service was excellent. The room needed a new seal around the toilet. You could smell sulfur all the time, The carpet in the room and hallways needed cleaning immediately. There was only 1 dryer working for the entire building on the 5th floor and it took 4 cycles to dry my clothes. There were not many plug ins for accessories to charge. Cleanliness is very important especially for 257.00 per night. Do better Embassy Suites.

Please check your rooms! We had to change rooms Because housekeeping did NOT Change the linen. They made up a bed with food in from a previous customer! It was disgusting. Talk the lady from head of housekeeping showed pics & all. She said she was embarrassed! She also stated she would see us at checkout & we NEVER Heard from her since. No email, phone call or anything!

My husband and I both enjoyed staying at the Embassy Suites but I was surprised by the view that we had on the 2nd floor. Due to us being there from Monday-Wednesday, we decided to pull the drapes back and could not believe that we were looking at a brick wall along with the A/C equipment between the windows and the wall. Unless the hotel was full, we should not have been given that room especially since we were there during the afternoons. In the future, I will ask when I check in what type of view will we have. Brick walls are boring!!

I booked the recommended room from Hotel.com and the elevator ended up being on the other side of the bedroom wall. I heard it operating all night. It sounded like someone was sliding furniture across the floor. The listing did not say anything about the elevator. It's enough for me to never come back for future business trips.

Second time staying here. Nice enough though the room seemed a little "tired." Traveling with my dog, so maybe they assign the not-so-great rooms to those traveling with pets. Elevator shaft noise through the wall every time one or the other was going up or down. Will probably check out another option when I'm stopping over in the area next time.

Staff need customer service training. The person checking me in just stopped in the middle of checking me in to help coworker fix a computer issue instead of finishing with me first. She never explained where the elevators were so I could get to my room. Supposedly there is a restaurant and pool there but I have no idea where. Bartender left in middle of service to go get mixers from a store, without letting anyone know what he was doing. No one seemed to know the real happy hour times, one said ended at 7 other 7:30. Hours advertised were 5:30 to 7:30 marked out with sharpie to say 7. This was definitely not a Hilton experience.

We had to sit in the car for over an hour before we could check in because the room was not ready at check in time and we had just driven 10.5 hours. The lady at the front desk is miserable and obviously needs a job where she doesn't talk to people. AND we are expected to pay $10 a day for parking when we paid almost $300 for a room for a night with poor service. The breakfast was good but we had to wait for bowls for about 30 minutes and there were no spoons.

While I understand I booked via Expedia I was disappointed in absolutely zero recognition of being a Diamond Member. It took multiple attempts to get my existing Hilton Honoris Account added to my reservation so that I could use free internet. Their policy says zero about how you purchase your room, third party or direct via Hilton, to get access to free internet. Also, room was not available when we checked in and it was about 530pm on a Saturday night. There was no cart available to carry our luggage, we had to carry it all ourselves. There was congestion of parked cars at the entrance area which made the entire experience a bit haphazard and inconvenient The breakfast was chaotic with very limited staff, poor quality of food, different locations for plates, utensils, and items that made it really confusing to get everything for the breakfast. We have been to other Embassy Suites in D.C and the breakfast provided was excellent, the whole experience was really good. In comparison this one was really bad.

Breakfast was understaffed and not as it has been in last visits. Items remained empty almost our entire breakfast forcing the poor omelet woman to be extremely busy. We have stayed at the Embassy Suites Savannah Georgia airport location a number of times on trips from Carolina to Florida and love the free happy hour with drinks and a free breakfast and the nice facility in general. A special kudos to the lady behind the bar during our last visit. We arrive ate after having been stuck in a 4-Hour backup on I-95 North from Florida. We missed the happy hour. But she was very kind and understanding and helped us get food. Regarding the room we stayed in, 416, the bathroom was slow to drain and the toilet seat was stained yellow & chipped. We were given a handicap accessible room, which we did not require. I suggest that customers be asked about handicapped accessibility rooms so as to help ensure such rooms are available for those who require them.There was constant jet noise from a military base that was using the Savannah Airport for training in landing and take off exercises every 10 to 15 seconds during our whole stay from when we got there until the morning when we left. I'd suggest giving guests the option of the non airport, quieter side. The thermostat was difficult to use. The sliding door from bedroom to bathroom was very heavy and had no handle to open or close it. We could not access the Wi-Fi with the password given to us on this visit or the one we had a few weeks before. I'd suggest that more electrical outlets be available on the bed nightstands along with USB charging inputs.

Animals were allowed in the restaurant and this was a huge turnoff. The breakfast was good but the grits were cold. Furniture in the rooms need to be replaced . Our couch was worn out. Very few television channels- unable to watch some of our teams play.
