Sehr gutes Hotel mit toller Aussicht vom Balkon. Wellness, Pool, Tennis und sonstige Spielmöglichkeiten lassen nichts vermissen. Fußläufig zum Ort oder Gondel gelegen. Essen mit Halbpension war gut. Kommen gerne wieder.

Das Hotel ist ok. Zimmer modern. Frühstück gut, Abendessen gut. Wellnessbereich etwas in die Jahre gekommen, da wäre sicher mehr möglich.

Jeden Sommer verbringen wir ein paar Tage in Arosa. Dieses Jahr haben wir uns im neu renovierten Faern Altein niedergelassen. Nach der Ankunft mit dem Zug gingen wir zu Fuss zum Hotel. (Kurzer Spaziergang) Eine schöne Eingangshalle und schnelles Check-In erwartete uns. Bereits um 13:00 Uhr konnten wir das Zimmer beziehen. (Check-Out ist um 10:00 Uhr!) Unser Zimmer war schön, aber sehr klein. Bei grösseren Koffer wird es dann schon sehr eng. Wir haben ein Zimmer mit Bergblick (inkl. Balkon gebucht. Da wir immer mit offenem Fenster schlafen, wollten wir auch die frische Bergluft einatmen. Diese wurde jedoch laufend von Rauchern verpestet. Wir waren wohl eingekesselt von Kettenrauchern und Kiffern. Der Rauch zieht dann leider bei offenem Fenster ins Zimmer. Somit haben wir den Balkon gemieden. Beim Wellness haben wir uns leider auch mehr versprochen, denn die Werbung von einem schönen und erholsamen Wellness trifft überhaupt nicht zu. Das Wasser ist eher kalt und schreiende Kinder von Hotel- und externen Gästen haben uns auch das Wellness verdorben. Zum Glück sind wir ja wegen dem Wandern in den Bergen und das Wetter war auch besser, als gemeldet. Wir haben Halbpension gebucht und wurden gut verköstigt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr lecker. Grosses Buffet, guten Kaffee und Sirocco Tee. Das Birchermüsli hat uns besonders gut geschmeckt. Sehr luftig! Die 4-Gänge Menüs am Abend waren eher einfach, aber gut. Wir hatten eine Woche einen tollen Aufenthalt. Das Essen war gut und reichlich, der Service sehr freundlich, auch wenn die Deutsch-Kenntnisse nicht bei allen so gut waren, alle haben viel gelacht, was man aus anderen Hotels so leider nicht kennt. Alle waren auch sehr kinderfreundlich. Der Spa-Bereich war auch sehr schön, leider relativ wenig Liegen im Ruheraum. Was ein wenig nervig war ist der Lift. Ein Lift pro Flügel im Hotel ist etwas wenig. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, wir kommen gerne wieder.

The Faern is a work in progress. It’s nicely designed and has a good location with rooms offering stunning views. It only opened recently so there is still some construction happening and the staff could use some more training. But in the long run this will be a very nice option to stay in Arosa.

Leider ist das Hotel nach der Renovation noch nicht ganz fertig geworden und hat noch so seine Makel: eg Fernseher funktionieren nicht (wir wurden aber im Vorfeld darüber informiert), Wandfarbe schlecht angebracht / nicht ganz fertig, herumstehende Leitern, Skiraum unfertig, offene Baustellenräume sichtbar für den Kunden, Wellnessbereich nur über die Treppe zugänglich (nicht mit dem Aufzug zugänglich), Dusch / Schampoo und Seifenspender nicht angebracht, keine Ablageflächen im Zimmer. Auch andere Kulturprodukte wie zB conditioner, bodylotion und vanity kit fehlten. Wir hatten 3 Zimmer davon waren 2 zu heiss und 1 resp zu kalt. Skipass wurden noch nicht angeboten und die Location des Hotels würde einen Shuttle sehr nützlich machen. Außerdem, gab es nur Synthetik Bettsachen und auch auf Nachfrage wurde keine Alternative angeboten. Die Frühstücksauswahl war für den Preis auch etw zu klein und bit keinerlei Variation. Alles in Allem, stimmte demnach das Preis Leistungsverhältnis nicht. Glücklicherweise ist man uns kulanterweise mit einem Rabatt entgegengekommen.

Paid for 3 days of half board, only able to eat one time because of reservations. There was no reimbursement. I understand this isn't the hotels fault but the children in the hotel are absolutely unbearable. I slept incredibly poorly the entire time. At least the staff was friendly and helpful at the reception, although fairly inattentive with dining (the one time I was able to enjoy a meal)

The Faern is a work in progress. It’s nicely designed and has a good location with rooms offering stunning views. It only opened recently so there is still some construction happening and the staff could use some more training. But in the long run this will be a very nice option to stay in Arosa.

Wir hatten eine Woche einen tollen Aufenthalt. Das Essen war gut und reichlich, der Service sehr freundlich, auch wenn die Deutsch-Kenntnisse nicht bei allen so gut waren, alle haben viel gelacht, was man aus anderen Hotels so leider nicht kennt. Alle waren auch sehr kinderfreundlich. Der Spa-Bereich war auch sehr schön, leider relativ wenig Liegen im Ruheraum. Was ein wenig nervig war ist der Lift. Ein Lift pro Flügel im Hotel ist etwas wenig. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Paid for 3 days of half board, only able to eat one time because of reservations. There was no reimbursement. I understand this isn't the hotels fault but the children in the hotel are absolutely unbearable. I slept incredibly poorly the entire time. At least the staff was friendly and helpful at the reception, although fairly inattentive with dining (the one time I was able to enjoy a meal)

It was a really lovely place. The pool was fabulous. Staff were very helpful. Bar and restaurant very pleasant. Room was really luxurious with small terrace and great view (of snow!)

The room was clean, breakfast nice (though could have had more options), the balcony was gorgeous and the spa was amazing. It was lacking a few basic amenities like conditioner, a mini fridge, espresso capsules for each day. The room was also quite tight for two people to stay in. But overall this was made up for by the atmosphere of the hotel and we enjoyed our stay.
