Nice Hotel. Clean and friendly service. Mattress not that confortable. Pool area very nice but the pool water needs more love (water not clear) The bike rental is very nice. Note that they are no cleaning service on the property. Very near the Ado station and Tulum ruins and beaches accessible in bicycle or 45 minutes walk.

Lovely little hotel tucked in a side road. Close to the main restaurant and shopping area. All in walking distance. Beautifully furnished with lovely details. Cost and comfy beds. Helpful staff. The pool is small but enough to cool down or dip your feet in. Our child loved it though. The breakfast is basic. The free continental is two slices of toast with butter and jam. We went to the Taqueria next door for proper breakfast. Showers don’t get very hot and stay rather lukewarm. It takes forever for the water to warm so you end up wasting a lot of water.

Hotel is very pretty with a little swimming pool in the centre with a massive tree around it. Really liked the setting. We had a ground floor room which was nice with a small patio and the pool right in front of it. Noixe was not an issue, but i do think the hotel was quiet at that time. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was adaquate. I do think it was good value for money. The location was convenient to the main road restaurants and stores. I would say the only con, and its not really a bad thing, the ground floor room had little natural light and the streetfront looks run down.

Great location! Walking distance to many shops, restaurants, atms and exchange houses. We were ok walking up to our third floor room! Nice view, clean, check in was easy and friendly. Parking was available in the front of the hotel for our rental car. They also had many bikes to available.

The room design is unique... concrete but nicely set. The pool and garden was perfect for the size of the hotel. Love the location. Just one lane away from the hustle and bustle. Wifi signal was poor.

Staff is nice but it didn’t make up for the false advertisement that this hotel makes! I tried getting out as soon as I realized the TV never worked, you could not ride to the beach easily as claimed, there was NO sun in the area of the pool which one cannot swim in just wade/walk. They do NOT provide shuttle and I was left stranded at the airport as they never responded to my many requests for a pick up starting a week in advance! The hotel has NO working telephone to even by able to contact them - what if an emergency occurred???? Not even coffee offered! Bugs and lizards in the room - yes it is near a jungle but come on! Very disappointed overall in this hotel!

This is just the place I needed for a solo getaway to tulum. The staff was so friendly and helpful with anything I needed. The aesthetic of the hotel was my favourite part. The terracotta colours and soft lighting makes it feel really cozy. The pool is so cute and o enjoyed cooling off in it. Lots of shopping and food just one block away. And across the street a really nice cafe that I frequented for breakfast. I was able to rent a bike for 200mxn/day, and I used that as my mode of transportation for most of my trip. Good price and such a fun way to see Tulum. I will definitely be staying here again if I ever come back to Tulum and I really hope I do.

This little hotel right in the middle of everything in town was a perfect home base for our family as we explored the surrounding areas by car and enjoyed town by foot. The pool was too cold to get in, but I’m sure it’s refreshing on a hot day. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel was very cosy. Close to everything , pool was more for sauna not deep or full size. The complimentary breakfast could have been better. Over all good stay.

This was a solid stay. The location was ideal for getting around town and checking out the shops in La Valeta. The lobby was gorgeous and the room was clean. It was a little noisy being so close to the street with car alarms going off, not much the hotel could do about that. The room had most of the basic ammenities (soap, water, lock box, towels, toilet paper) but nothing much more to write home about. The staff were friendly, bed was pretty comfortable, and the air conditioner worked great! Overall, solid overnight stay.

The hotel was really nice and affordable. Unlike other reviews the shower was working properly. The only downside was the cleanness. There were a lot of ants in the room (and climbed up the bed at night) and there were pieces of hair on the bed sheets. Other than that great location and friendly vibe.

Muy mala experiencia,la habitacion que ocupamos no funcionaba el dispositivo de tv, el desague de la regadera no funcionaba se bajo a reportar y la de recepcion dijo no podia hacer nada al respecto, las almohadas tenian moho,pedimos hablar con el gerente a lo que nos contestaron que no tenian autorizado tener comunicacion con ellos, por lo que solicitamos el nombre del gerente y nos lo negaron tambien. El segundo dia pedimos rembolso para retirarnos del hotel por lo mencionado en este reporte y nos contestaron que seria a travez de esta plataforma para solucionarlo.(Puedo adjuntar pruebas pero no me da opcion)

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Posada. The staff were very nice and very accommodating. The staff speak good English (if needed), and are always around to help. Our room was cleaned every day, without having to request it. Free drinking water was provided in the common area which is a great amenity. The area is super walkable. It's nice and quiet at night, but easily accessible to great restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and shops. Also a quick drive down to the beach. A note for WFH employees: The wifi is stable but can be shaky when it rains, and if you're sharing a room it's not the best setup. For us, there wasn't a chair/desk area to do work, so you'd have to do it from bed. You're better off working from a coffee shop imo.

I loved staying in this hotel! As a solo female traveler it was imperative that it was in a safe area, clean, that it was walkable to restaurants, and shopping, and this hotel met all my needs! The staff was very friendly, and they kept an eye out for me, they were on top of anything I needed. Specially grateful for Yasuri, the lady at the front desk who was very kind, allowed me to use the pool after hours, and carried my luggage down from the second floor when their luggage guy was on a lunch break. I look forward to coming back! Highly recommend!

It was so cute. The service was great and the location is a block off the main strip with tons of restaurants, coffee shops, and stores close by. The Wi-Fi is spotty, but that’s the only issue we had.

I booked the King room. The site doesn't mention that it's on the third floor and there are no elevators. I asked to be moved to the first floor which is a cheaper & smaller room because I am handicap and the front desk did just that. When I asked the manager for compensation being that I paid for the deluxe but had to be moved to the basic room. She nastily said its my fault I am handicap and they don't compensate when its the customers fault. Needless to say we cut our stay there early and left. Also the towels, sheets, and bed is very hard and uncomfortable.

I asked to be moved to the first floor which is a cheaper & smaller room because I am handicap and the front desk did just that. When I asked the manager for compensation being that I paid for the deluxe but had to be moved to the basic room. She nastily said its my fault I am handicap and they don't compensate when its the customers fault. Needless to say we cut our stay there early and left. Also the towels, sheets, and bed is very hard and uncomfortable.

Staff is nice but it didn’t make up for the false advertisement that this hotel makes! I tried getting out as soon as I realized the TV never worked, you could not ride to the beach easily as claimed, there was NO sun in the area of the pool which one cannot swim in just wade/walk. They do NOT provide shuttle and I was left stranded at the airport as they never responded to my many requests for a pick up starting a week in advance! The hotel has NO working telephone to even by able to contact them - what if an emergency occurred???? Not even coffee offered! Bugs and lizards in the room - yes it is near a jungle but come on! Very disappointed overall in this hotel!

Muy mala experiencia,la habitacion que ocupamos no funcionaba el dispositivo de tv, el desague de la regadera no funcionaba se bajo a reportar y la de recepcion dijo no podia hacer nada al respecto, las almohadas tenian moho,pedimos hablar con el gerente a lo que nos contestaron que no tenian autorizado tener comunicacion con ellos, por lo que solicitamos el nombre del gerente y nos lo negaron tambien. El segundo dia pedimos rembolso para retirarnos del hotel por lo mencionado en este reporte y nos contestaron que seria a travez de esta plataforma para solucionarlo.(Puedo adjuntar pruebas pero no me da opcion)

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Posada. The staff were very nice and very accommodating. The staff speak good English (if needed), and are always around to help. Our room was cleaned every day, without having to request it. Free drinking water was provided in the common area which is a great amenity. The area is super walkable. It's nice and quiet at night, but easily accessible to great restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and shops. Also a quick drive down to the beach. A note for WFH employees: The wifi is stable but can be shaky when it rains, and if you're sharing a room it's not the best setup. For us, there wasn't a chair/desk area to do work, so you'd have to do it from bed. You're better off working from a coffee shop imo.

This is just the place I needed for a solo getaway to tulum. The staff was so friendly and helpful with anything I needed. The aesthetic of the hotel was my favourite part. The terracotta colours and soft lighting makes it feel really cozy. The pool is so cute and o enjoyed cooling off in it. Lots of shopping and food just one block away. And across the street a really nice cafe that I frequented for breakfast. I was able to rent a bike for 200mxn/day, and I used that as my mode of transportation for most of my trip. Good price and such a fun way to see Tulum. I will definitely be staying here again if I ever come back to Tulum and I really hope I do.

I loved staying in this hotel! As a solo female traveler it was imperative that it was in a safe area, clean, that it was walkable to restaurants, and shopping, and this hotel met all my needs! The staff was very friendly, and they kept an eye out for me, they were on top of anything I needed. Specially grateful for Yasuri, the lady at the front desk who was very kind, allowed me to use the pool after hours, and carried my luggage down from the second floor when their luggage guy was on a lunch break. I look forward to coming back! Highly recommend!

Hotel is very pretty with a little swimming pool in the centre with a massive tree around it. Really liked the setting. We had a ground floor room which was nice with a small patio and the pool right in front of it. Noixe was not an issue, but i do think the hotel was quiet at that time. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was adaquate. I do think it was good value for money. The location was convenient to the main road restaurants and stores. I would say the only con, and its not really a bad thing, the ground floor room had little natural light and the streetfront looks run down.

This was a solid stay. The location was ideal for getting around town and checking out the shops in La Valeta. The lobby was gorgeous and the room was clean. It was a little noisy being so close to the street with car alarms going off, not much the hotel could do about that. The room had most of the basic ammenities (soap, water, lock box, towels, toilet paper) but nothing much more to write home about. The staff were friendly, bed was pretty comfortable, and the air conditioner worked great! Overall, solid overnight stay.

This little hotel right in the middle of everything in town was a perfect home base for our family as we explored the surrounding areas by car and enjoyed town by foot. The pool was too cold to get in, but I’m sure it’s refreshing on a hot day. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Lovely little hotel tucked in a side road. Close to the main restaurant and shopping area. All in walking distance. Beautifully furnished with lovely details. Cost and comfy beds. Helpful staff. The pool is small but enough to cool down or dip your feet in. Our child loved it though. The breakfast is basic. The free continental is two slices of toast with butter and jam. We went to the Taqueria next door for proper breakfast. Showers don’t get very hot and stay rather lukewarm. It takes forever for the water to warm so you end up wasting a lot of water.

The hotel was very cosy. Close to everything , pool was more for sauna not deep or full size. The complimentary breakfast could have been better. Over all good stay.

I’m baffled by the reviews this property has, and maybe we were just unlucky in our room, but we had to leave after one night. Bed was rock hard (coming from avid travellers who’ve never complained even after getting hip bruises from hard beds elsewhere, this is HARD). My partner slept part of the night on the stone sofa. “Blackout curtains” is comical - there was a steady stream of bright light from the pool area all night through sheer black curtains, keeping us up (again, I can sleep anywhere - this was BAD). The first room had a non functional shower. Second shower worked, but neither was a “rainfall shower” as advertised, they looked and felt awful. And certainly no spa on site to speak of despite the mention on the Expedia listing. Safety was my biggest concern: On arrival, we had to sign a waiver to say the hotel wouldn’t be responsible if our belongings were taken from the room, but we were put in a room in the main floor very close to the entry with only a sliding patio door, and the lock barely worked. It took us several minutes to figure out how to get it to lock and it didn’t feel secure. Couple this with the fact that the front desk was often vacant and the hotel was open to the street, we didn’t feel comfortable or safe. I’ll give them the location was good, but false advertising of amenities/comfort and lack of safety really diminish the value and left us feeling lied to and ripped off. I wouldn’t recommend when better is available in Tulum for similar $
