La Quinta by Wyndham Bozeman

There are many pluses great breakfast and convenient location. They’re not big on keeping up on the maintenance, and the housekeeping and maintenance is hit or miss. However, I’ve stayed at several other hotels in the area and had exactly the same problems without the good breakfast. Business center copier has not worked properly for over a year if that’s important to you in the wrong place.

Close to Yellowstone. The pool was out of commission and I couldn't swim as panned.

Again, when we arrived at this hotel, the pool and hot tub were out of service. It was not noted anywhere on their website or Expedia‘s website and when we pay a full amount for a hotel room, we expect to get all the amenities. Totally disappointed in this trip for those very recent. This is the third time now.

Tv didnt work and they had to fix it, it was VERY hot im the hallways, breakfast area and especially hot in the creepy fitness room in the basement and the pool doesnt have good ventilation. It also seemed like they had permanent residents and/or functioned as an overflow for homeless families. We only stayed one night and we were traveling with a cat, so wr appreciated the pet friendly atmosphere

Unique layout rather than straight corridors. Excellent waffles plus good quality coffee! Friendly desk and kitchen staff. Functional hot jacuzzi and large pool.

The price was reasonable, however the pool was unuseable due to dirt and algae in the pool. The hot tub was green with dirt in it. The kids couldn't swim. The beds had brown stains on the bed liners, but sheets were clean at least. I would not recommend or stay here again.

Pool closed

it would be really nice if Expedia or La Quinta would inform you that the hot tub is out of order BEFORE you book a non-refundable room. After a long day of packing up my late father in laws house all I wanted was to sit in the hot tub but when we got here it was drained of water...but we couldnt choose another hotel because La Quinta doesnt give refunds.

Stayed for 1 week. Was disappointed that the pool and hot tub were under repair. This should have been noted in the listing information as it would definitely impacted my decision to book.

The staff is excellent. Nice pool and hot tub. Quiet.

Disappointed with cleanliness of the room. Bathroom floor hadn't been cleaned for a long time, our feet got dirty walking in there. There were cobwebs behind the door. Toilet flusher was broken. We won't stay there again.

Upon arrival keys did not work. Room was not cleaned properly The last persons food was left. No lotion or shower gels in the bottles. Hair left tin the bathroom

Property is surrounded by construction and is very noisy. Rooms smell like smoke and are not clean. Bed frames have stains, dirt in corners, etc. Rooms need an update. Lobby area was nice.

Our room’s bathroom section smelled like urine. Wa terrible! The door to room (room 206) was so un-aligned with the frame of the building you could see the hallway light and would give you the impression that it was opened. The room door was exact opposite on the hallway to the staircase door, so every time anyone went through that door (to take pets outdoors through the night) the door would slammed so hard it would wake us up in the middle of the night. Worse night I have ever had at ANY La Quinta. The staff was excellent!!, but the room conditions were very poor. The breakfast was mediocre and as prove of the poor hotel conditions-that day they had a leak from the ceiling of the dinning hall. The carpets throughout were dirty and overall in bad shape.

We’re usually big fans of La Quinta and seek them out when we travel, but this location was incredibly disappointing. During our overnight stay, the public restroom near the front desk was never cleaned — the smell was awful and the trash was overflowing with tampon wrappers and other waste. Every trash can we saw, both inside and outside the hotel, was full and clearly hadn’t been emptied in a while. Breakfast was equally frustrating. By 7 :30 AM (breakfast was supposed to be provided until 9), all the eggs were gone, and staff said there wouldn’t be any more. The potatoes were undercooked, and a random container of gravy was just sitting out for biscuits and gravy. A staff member was serving herself, dropped the container of gravy , and then casually put it back on the counter for others to dish from — completely unsanitary. Spilled juice had been tracked through the lobby into the elevator and was left untouched the entire morning. Water was never filled, cereal all over the place, complete chaos in the breakfast area. What made it worse was seeing multiple staff members just sitting around while the hotel was clearly in need of attention. To top it off, when we arrived, our room was unlocked and had used contact lenses still in the sink and no towels. When we first got there they said they would be bringing them to us later on that day, we had to seek them out the next morning. We were really disappointed by the lack of cleanliness, professionalism, and basic hospit

Notable goods - night time counter guy, Max? He was great. Kind, understanding, helpful. Laminated floors, that was a first and awesome one for me, pool and hot tub were clean. Nutella in the kitchen at breakfast. Notable bads- dirty bedsheets on king bed, poop chocolate? Idk. Absolutely no sheets available for pull out mattress, which was also disgusting. Floor was unswept. Whomever does the laundry and cleans room needs to wear a head cap because there is hair on EVERYTHING, sheets, towels, pillows, floor, shower curtain. Kitchen was a mess throughout breakfast service. For $300 for the weekends I definitely expect more. Just because it’s Bozeman shouldn’t mean anything.

They do not clean the rooms very well...same long black hairs everywhere from the day we arrived until we checked out

Dropped an item in the bathroom which rolled under the vanity. Was appalled at how much debris there was in the corners and against the baseboard. Laminate needs to be both vacuumed and mopped, and areas under fixtures and edge of bed/furniture need attention.

Construction. Hard to get to. Don’t corner clean anything. Floor dirty in all corners. Shower curtain yellow at the bottom. Sust on counters in bathroom. Dried oatmeal found on the closet floor. Gross! Could be really nice, but cleaning staff terrible!

Our room was rundown and not clean. This hotel is NOT worth the price they advertise. Secure the contents of your vehicle - lots of homeless walking around and we had to listen to one drugged up guy screaming loudly all night right outside the hotel window. Breakfast was not edible. So many other options in town for the same price point. Do not recommend staying here. In comparison the same hotel in Missoula is fantastic and at the level of this price point.

Room was small

My husband and I just needed a place to stay for 1 night in Bozeman, as we skied a full day in Big Sky and wanted to drive to our next stop in daylight. Upon check-in, the manager at the desk was very nice, and we had reserved a King room - I requested a quiet, warm room. The room was fine, updated nicely and very clean - BUT - this room had a door to connect to another room, and there was a VERY loud family screaming at each other in the room on the other side of the connecting doors. The only thing I did was put a towel along the bottom of the door - they were quiet by about 10:30pm, but it was really annoying. Also - the door to our room seems to been replaced, and it did not line up properly, It locked, but you could see the hallway light between the door and the frame. And like most of these places, the breakfast was meh - mostly carbs and sugars, they did have plain oatmeal packets and some sort of yogurt (with sugar) - There are so many other places to stay in this area - the price was very reasonable, but I would not stay here again.

Easy check in. Convenient to hwy 90. Our room was quiet.

Free breakfast was surprisingly solid and only a 15 minute drive to the airport, my only gripe is that there is only basic cable on the TV, no streaming.

Cheap hotel for a reason. Hard wood floors (so very, VERY loud), very thin walls. Our door was offset and you could see the hallway through the crack. Hallway looked like a chip bag exploded. Good for adults with ear plugs that don’t like to sleep.

This had to be the smallest room I’ve stayed in. The distance between the bed and refrigerator was about 18inches. Very tight.

Very nice, newer hotel. My corner room was very comfortable and quiet. WiFi service was spotty and the breakfast pretty basic.

The room we had was really small. Breakfast is marginal.

The place is okay, the only thing I would complain about is the mini fridge was making noise and we were not able to sleep.

Room looks newer and wider. Place is very convenient for dinning. Breakfast quality is good. One issue was there is railway nearby and there sounds some horn noise in the night... Another issue was shampoo was empty in the bathroom...

They owe me a refund for 25.00 for early check in, nikki? Tried to do the sunday i left but their system kept messing up. She wrote an email to her manager to resolve the issue and i havent heard back from them at all. I call back today and the person working says it was refunded on the 15th which isnt possible because nikki couldnt do it. So she told me that it was up to my bank. The associate today wasn't helpful & she could barely find my reservation. And the manager didn't even bother yo email me or contact me to resolve this issue. I let the room issue go but this is horrible customer service.

Had to get our own towels, no replacement of soap, etc.. Room not cleaned for 4 days even though staff notified. TV initially did not work. Refrigerator froze our drinks. Room door handle would not open door until the 4th or 5 th time.No towels or cleaning spray or wipes in exercise area.STUCK IN ELEVATOR FOR ONE HOUR!

Staff was friendly and rooms clean, however we couldn’t check in until 8pm our first night. Room wasn’t ready because under staffed.

I had one little hiccup with check-in for our accessible room. The property apparently only has one accessible room and we booked it. Arriving at 7:30 pm, our room had not been cleaned and ready for us. I spoke with the front desk clerk and asked why, knowing we were coming, the room had not been cleaned earlier in the day. She told me they were shorthanded. My thoughts on this matter were that managers ought to prioritize an accessible room to be cleaned earlier as we needed that specific room, not a substitute room. We waited about 40 minutes after a long day driving and wanted to let management know that situation had occured. The desk clerk gave us a discount on the room, however, and that was a nice thing to do.

Unfortunately a bad check in. There was no staff for at least an hour and the police were called. When calling La Quinta did offer to book somewhere else but for more money and no refund for our already booked stay.

The staff needs retrained. It started with check in. They gave us someone else’s room key. Walked right into someone’s room while they were sitting right there. The next morning the breakfast bar was a disgusting mess. The person that seemed to be in charge didn’t seem to care. They were out of plates and when I informed him, he said he was on it. He refilled the forks… so I used a bowl. Food was everywhere and instead of filling things up and cleaning he decided to take a phone call and go sit on the curb for a cigarette break. This was consistent for the entire stay aside from one day where someone else was running breakfast. On top of all of that, the cleaning service doesn’t acknowledge the do not disturb sign. We had it posted the entire time and yet they would still come into our room. But the strange thing is they would only do a couple things. They would take out one of the trashes and not the other. Or they took the extra sheets we had taken off the bed but not the towels. One day, they took the bar soap we had been using and that was all they seemed to do. Overall, I would never stay here again and wouldn’t recommend it solely based off of the staff.

The staff were so friendly. We stayed two nights and interacted with the front desk staff a few times, to check in and out, to request help printing something, and to get extra blankets and they were so great. One staff member was new and still training and he was fantastic. The manager training him was incredibly sweet and was so kind to him and to us.

Piss poor service got a call at 10:30 at night to come to front desk and prove this was my room. Told manager he could come to my room and I had to show him my on line booking because he had no record of it and did not even know I had been checked into room. Wow Stupidity just doesn’t cover it. Piss poor nights sleep because staff can’t do there Job.

The property was clean and the pool was warm. When we arrived around 3pm there was noboday at the front desk, only a sign that said they were helping with breakfast and to call a number. I called twice with no answer. About 10 minutes later the front desk gal came down the hall. There was no urgency to help me, I waited another few minutes while she checked in her list.

We arrived after a long day on the road to find out that they had given our room to someone else and all they had lest was a single King room. We had 4 people. The “best” the manager could do was cancel the room for a refund and send us out at 10pm to find another room somewhere. Front desk person was fantastic, however manager had no customer service skills.

Great location for the traveler as it is located along I90. Also 7th street goes to the University and to the downtown. Expected to be noisy due to the interstate however it was very quiet.

La Quinta is our hotel of choice but this one was not as good as others we have stayed at. No places to eat within walking distance.

Nice. Quiet and close to the airport

Great location nearby from the Bozeman airport. All facilities were great, had hot water for the shower and beds were comfortable to sleep. The included breakfast was a sweet deal and had great options from pancakes, eggs to cereal, it definitely helped us fuel ourselves before leaving the next day. Definitely recommend!

The hotel is convenient to essentially everything in Bozeman and the interstate. The rooms are clean and spacious.

The hotel rooms are good - large and bright, and it has a great pool - very warm and well maintained. Check-in, though very quick and much easier than usual, has very unfriendly staff. Staff at breakfast, though hard working, are too few and food is not replenished quickly enough. Housekeeping is ok. The area where the hotel is located isn’t great. There are many homeless wandering about. There are other options such as Sprinhill Suites and Holiday Inn Express that were in better areas. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, but suggest you pay a little bit more and choose another hotel. It was very cheap and good value.

It was close to a shelter.

Nice town. Easy to get too off of 90.

Convenient to Bozeman down town

Probably one of the worst breakfasts I had at a hotel in a long time. The eggs were probably the best thing, the sausage was cold, and the waffle batter was way too runny! Beds were comfortable tho.

We had a nice check in, a nice room, very quiet, very clean. We were not happy with the breakfast: the toaster was broken (one side of it), no plain cream cheese, the dispenser for the Maple Syrup for the waffels was not working, the butter was hard as a rock,nobody cleaned the tables after use. Nobody seemed to be responsible for the breakfast area. If it was the guy working at the check-in (he was wearing a hoodie, sorry, not professional for such a nice hotel!), he was watching the entire time videos on his cellphone. Might be okay for some hotels, but it shouldn't be for this!

Clean and comfortable. The breakfast was bad. No utensils. No hot water. Many items empty. Staff sitting nearby but couldn’t get off their phones to refill.

This was our first experience with LaQuinta as we are BW fans. However I would say your property is excellent and equal or better than BW. The price in Bozeman was less than the BW. We checked in later after Yellowstone visit and got a suite rather than a KING room. Two TVs with a couch and chairs. Lots of elbow room. Clean and new with a great breakfast. We will be back. This was a very nice 1-night stay following our flight to Bozeman. Clean, quiet, good-sized room with comfortable beds. Good hot breakfast with a variety of foods. Would stay here again.

It was just fine- no cold cold water or orange juice for breakfast

The room was nice. The first day of breakfast was good. The 5 days after for breakfast was horrible. It was mostly cold or for the main part they didn’t have Anything in stock to eat. Most of the hot trays were empty. Give or take if they had coffee. The orange juice ran out on 2nd day and was never filled rest of week.

Breakfast staff was lazy. Breakfast was out of hot food with still an hour left. I saw staff member in the galley on phone instead of refilling. All coffee cups and juice glasses were out. Worst experience I have ever had at a hotel.
