When we showed up the gentleman at the front was nice, but he wasn't the most welcoming. He would always be standing behind the wall behind the counter and you would always have to ring the bell for service. The first day there I left my do not disturb sign and the next day I took it out and my room was not cleaned. I had new towels but my floors hadn't been cleaned nor the bed made, the pillows were old and lumpy and not the most comfortable. Our mini fridge took forever to get things cold, and the water in the bathroom was ice cold or scolding hot. We had to use the sink in the "main area" that had a hot and cold to get warm water. Our room also smelled terribly and I'm not sure what the smell was but in comparison to other family members rooms there was a distinct smell and it wasn't pleasant. The elevator went out and was out for 2 of the 3 days we were there. While all of these things were annoying and frustrating especially traveling with kids.

We were here all week and enjoyed every minute! The rooms are spacious and clean, breakfast is good and the pool is clean. The lady that ran breakfast all week did an amazing job! All staff was nice and effecient!

Phones didn’t work, elevator not working & had to use stairs. I have RA and it was terrible. Brother has colostomy bag & can’t carry heavy things. We had to make several trips to get things to the room. Shower curtain too short & water everywhere in bathroom. Not good.

We got there as soon as you enter it smells like mold, the elevator wasnt working. They gave us a room on the 2nd floor and it reeked of mold. They gave us a 2nd room, it was dirty. They gave us a 3rd room and it was decent. The pool DOES NOT look like the pictures. You ask for towels and they look at you like its a sin to ask for towels. The breakfast is a sorry set up…hard hash brown and old ketchup packets. Slaming doors and barking dogs in the middle of the night. La quinta has got to do better. We will Not be staying in this property ever again.

The bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean and spacious. We were disappointed that the treadmill was not working. Also the smoke detector in our room was dangling by a cord, not sure if it actually worked. There was also a very noisy dehumidifier in our room- guessing it was to get rid of musty smell. Breakfast was slightly above average as far as budget hotels go.

They charged my credit card the morning before we got there. I was going to use a different card when I got there. That one was just supposed to hold it. I called to ask about it but the desk clerk was difficult to understand and kept talking over me. The room and the pool was very nice. The breakfast was excellent.

Roach hotel. Bring bug spray for the giant roaches that will be in the room. Blood on the doors in the bathroom, eyelashes on the floor from last persons stay... please stay at the holiday inn thats located in the same parking lot.

Staff was not friendly at all, room was dirty, it seems all they did was fix the bed and put towels out. The restroom had hair everywhere even in the toilet and tub!! Our room key didn’t let us back into our room and we had to go to the front desk and no explanation or apology was given. This was such an inconvenience. The breakfast was horrible, everything was microwaved and the apply juice and orange juice were empty. No one was around to even talk to. Horrible experience, will not be returning.

Nick, the front desk, were attentive and went out of his way to ensure that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. Nick was the BEST front desk person I have had the pleasure of meeting!! Quality of service, cleanliness and amenities were EXCELLENCE!! The room were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets! The bathroom were spacious as well and great brand name "Dove" soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner!! I enjoyed it so much!! This hotel very CLEANLINESS AND 100% SATISFIED! I would book it AGAIN when I'm in town again!

Do not stay here- go to the Holiday In Express next door. Our trip started with trying to check in at 8pm & there being a sign on the front desk saying they would be back later. We waited 20 minutes, called and got someone but had to wait longer until they were back. We booked a suite so my baby could sleep in the living room portion. The air conditioner didn’t work in the bedroom, there was no soap/shampoo, etc in any of the dispensers & overall it was just dirty- stains on the couch, unknown substances on the floor on the bedroom carpet. Walls have had adjustments like the curtains being taken down and not repainted so there are outlines of all the old rods, etc. We asked for our air conditioning to get fixed & the guy just stared at me & finally told me the air was new. I asked him to still please fix it bc it wasn’t working, neither was the ceiling fan. When we returned, he said the AC was fixed but turns out it must be an electrical issue bc it went out again moments after we returned to our room. We left a night early & just ate the cost to move to another hotel. Save yourself the energy & just stay elsewhere.

This property was way more than what I expected. Our room was upgraded to a deluxe king suite, 1 bedroom. Upon opening the door, I was amaze at the a size of this room. It could actually be an apartment based on the size of it. We throughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly. The property was well kept. If I should have to travel back to this area, I will definitely be selecting this property again.

The overall stay was very good. The buffet breakfast had more flavor in the offerings of hot food than most. It was good! The phone in the room did not work. No dial tone at all. The duvet on one of the beds was soooo lumpy. If you held it up to the light you could see where all the fabric was totaly bunched up into big balls. So uncomfortable. The other was perfect. We didn't use the pool as it was thunder, lightning and raining off an on during our stay. The staff were wonderful.

As far as our stay, the hotel was convenient when traveling back and forth between Galveston and Alvin. It was in a safe and quiet area and parking always available. As far as the hotel itself, it took over 10 minutes for someone to notice we were there to check in after ringing the bell multiple times. This happened twice. Need to have someone at the front desk that can speak legibly and answer questions and not have hair down to his shoulders and a ski cap on and look completely unprofessional with several teeth missing. Walking into the hotel, the lobby was bright and clean. The smell of orange scented cleaning solution was strong but not overwhelming. When checking in, the receptionist informed me that I owed a ‘hotel service fee’ that was not included in my online charge. I told him that I would not pay this fee and to cancel my reservation; I would go next door to the Holiday Inn (they share a parking lot) if the hotl was going to charge me this additional ‘hotel service fee’. He changed his mind and decided not to charge me this hotel service fee. When the elevator door open to the room floor, we were greet with dogs barking.

I booked on Orbits and paid but when I arrived gentleman wanted to charge me an addition fee for using Orbitz. Said something about it being an added charge. Ummmmm if there was additional charges then they need to work that out with orbits. It was only about $5 but that adds up in their register and felt very scammish. I asked others if they were charged that and some said yes others said no. Y’all need to get that figured out. If people are booking through orbits there is no need for an additional fee at the front desk.

Nick, the front desk, were attentive and went out of his way to ensure that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. Nick was the BEST front desk person I have had the pleasure of meeting!! Quality of service, cleanliness and amenities were EXCELLENCE!! The room were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets! The bathroom were spacious as well and great brand name "Dove" soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner!! I enjoyed it so much!! This hotel very CLEANLINESS AND 100% SATISFIED! They charged my credit card the morning before we got there. I was going to use a different card when I got there. That one was just supposed to hold it. I called to ask about it but the desk clerk was difficult to understand and kept talking over me. The room and the pool was very nice. The breakfast was excellent.

Upon arrival, the front desk isn't dressed professionally and not very welcoming and were charged a mandatory $8 hotel service fee for each room aside from what we paid with Expedia for the 4 rooms, which conflicts with Expedia policy. Also, the complimentary breakfast availability is terrible. They barely put anything out, not even at 6 am everything was pretty much empty. After sitting and watching other guest they ran into the same experience- dissappointed to say the least. Same experience for both days, it wasn't till I asked the front desk he added some bananas. No yogurt, barely any cereal and the one that was available was stale, waffle mix out, no orginal coffee, oatmel. no fruit, maybe 2 muffins out lol terrible experience! Whoever is running is very cheap! Will never stay here again.

The food was fine at breakfast, however I found a dead roach under a table and moved. No one was manning the breakfast area. The staff were very friendly in general like the housekeeping. The place needs to be renovated, seems like rundown, things breaking. The elevator would shake and make a loud noise when it was in use. They said they put in a trouble ticket but it wasn’t fixed when I was there for a week. The phone in my room didn’t work.

The overall stay was very good. The buffet breakfast had more flavor in the offerings of hot food than most. It was good! The phone in the room did not work. No dial tone at all. The duvet on one of the beds was soooo lumpy. If you held it up to the light you could see where all the fabric was totaly bunched up into big balls. So uncomfortable. The other was perfect. We didn't use the pool as it was thunder, lightning and raining off an on during our stay. The staff were wonderful.
