The only thing lacking was a bar open past 5 that wasn’t inside a restaurant. It would have been nice if the lounge stayed open. Not a big deal of course. Everything else was perfect!!! I could live there. The souvenir shop was the BEST. I wanted everything.

Room is nice and clean. Staff at front desk can speak English. There is few shops and convenience store next to hotel that is awesome for us to grab night food. But we have to pay 1000 yen for parking fee... I thought guest parking is free.

Excellent hotel. Fantastic rooms, top-notch service and two great onsens included. Breakfast is wonderful, full with options. There are 5 restaurants insidd the hotel and and one of the best souvenir stores we have seen in Japan. 10/10

Big onsen hotel with comfortable, spacious rooms and two onsens to choose from. The location is convenient to Takayama train station and the main city sights. We ate one meal in the hotel restaurants, though was much more pricey than local options. Bite you note to make dinner reservations here as well as might be advised to do for restaurants in town if you have particular places you want to try.

お部屋の襖に大きな汚れがありましたので清潔さの点で星をひとつ減らしましたが、畳やテーブルなどは綺麗で清掃も行き届いておりました。幼い子供がいたので食事は朝夜ともにバイキング形式を選びました。想像以上に美味しく種類もあり、大変満足でした。温泉は二箇所とも入りましたが、程よい熱さで気持ちよく過ごすことができました。なによりお土産屋さんの充実さに驚きました。そこら辺のサービスエリアの2,3倍は置いてあります。散策しなくてもホテルでほとんど完結していて、幼児連れで暑い中あまり出歩けないうちの家族には最適でした。素晴らしい宿泊になったと思います。

館内はとてもキレイで居心地良く、部屋は思っていたより広くてこのまま住みたいくらいでした！スタッフの皆様にも優しく対応していただけたので、子連れでも安心して過ごすことができました。ホテル内に大きなお土産屋さんも隣接しており、朝早くから夜遅くまで営業していたので、ゆっくりお買い物ができました。お土産はそこで大体済ませられとても便利でした。エグゼクティブラウンジでのフリードリンクとおつまみも種類が豊富で最高でした！全国に系列作ってほしいくらい。また飛騨高山に行くことがあれば利用したいです。

The old wing is really old. It’s clean, but the furniture is worn down. The room is sound proof from the traffic, but not from the hallway. People leaving early woke us up several times.It says “no smoking” but clearly someone smoked in a room, the smell was intense in the corridor!

We absolutely adore this place. The room we were staying at was new and spacious. Everything is neat and clean. The dinner and breakfast buffet were stunning. There was also a great souvenir shop where you could get most of the things you want. We will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Takayama.

This is a very nice resort hotel. They have quite attentive staff and lots of amenities. The 4 person room was large enough for the three of us to spread out our three very comfy futon beds. Plus there were proper chairs and a small table by the windows. It also had a fridge and water kettle. The hotel has two onsens, one open to the public. The one for hotel guests is in the basement and has items for free whereas the public one on the main floor charges for items like a hairbrushes. There’s a huge souvenir shop and several restaurants. If you go over a holiday book ahead. We were there the night before Culture Day (November 3) and every one was booked up. Fortunately there’s a 7/11 across the street as the local restaurants were closed. The only con was the massage. They are done in the entrance to the public onsen with no separation like a screen or curtains. So it’s quite noisy. The massage itself was just okay. Still nice after a long day of travel, but a soak in the onsen was just as effective.

Room was excellent in size and cleanliness. Staff was also very courteous and helpful most of the time. The dining room staff was outstanding. The one major faux pas was that my misplaced her walking cane somewhere in the hotel during our initial check in. We were staying for four nights but the cane was not found. However, two days later, we received an email indicating they had located the cane. The message did not indicate where the item was located but we were leaving Japan in two days so that notification was of no consequence. I tried to respond to their message but was not able to do so in English, although the message from the hotel was written in both Japanese and English.

We had a Japanese style room, and because there are no beds (they put out futons each night for us to sleep on), it was roomy by Japanese standards. The other good thing was the onsen (public bath), which we used daily. The downside is the location, in a newer area about a 20 minute walk from most of the sights and restaurants.

Beautiful hotel, not really close to the main activities, but it was about a 15-20 minute walk (doable for some). The room was amazing, we stayed at the Japanese traditional room with an outside bath and it didn’t disappoint. Also the buffet breakfast was really good. I’m very critical of buffet food and I was very pleasantly surprised with this one.

朝食はビュッフェを期待していたが、チェックインの時に和定食になったと言われた。ビュッフェに替える様に頼んだが、出来ないと一蹴された。結局、翌朝和食レストランに行ったが、ガラガラ。従業員に聴くと、別のレストランで提供されるビュッフェはインバウンドゲストに割り当てられ、席が取れないのではないかとのこと。高い朝食料金を支払っているのに全く選択できないというのは不満が残った。和定食の内容も魅力がなかった。

We stayed in a double room for 3 days during our visit to Takayama. The stay was extremely comfortable as the room was spacious and clean. Staff was helpful and friendly and we felt very welcome. It is a 10 mins walk to the nearby conveniece shop and McDonalds. It is a 15 mins walk to the Bus Terminal but there is hotel shuttle to take you if your legs are tired. I will definitely stay there again!

A bit far from theaim areas. We traveled with a disabled person and a child which made it less convenient. Still a great hotel for the price

The hotel was very nice and the Onsen was glorious. However, there was no food and the restaurants seemed to close inside of their posted hours. Every time we asked when the restaurants would be open they were actually closed. It was very infuriating when we had a day out and relied on the hotel to provide us a meal as advertised and posted yet nothing was available. We would not recommend this hotel for this reason. It is a terrible experience to go to bed hungry or start your day with no breakfast. NOT good at all!!!

O quarto é enorme, super luxuoso!! Usamos o Onsen e foi uma experiência bem diferente!! O único ponto que achei negativo foi o café da manhã!! Logo na abertura estava super cheio e não gostei da variedade das comidas

房間的被鋪很舒服，由於我是訂咗一泊二食，所以可以品嘗到餐廳為我準備的晚餐，大約有九道菜的多！很用心的擺盤，而且味道十分之好，有齊晒名古屋名物，飛驒牛和蟹，而且兩晚都是不一様，早餐是buffet ，但都是好有水準，整體來說物超所值👍👍

Room was very nice and spacious and feels luxurious and comfortable. Buffets were nice and had a lot of selections. I was not overly impressed with the Hida beef but it is a personal choice thing. Staff is mostly young friendly gracious people. Buffets are a combination of Japanese and western cuisine. Gift shop is very big. Would stay here again
