Residence Hotel Takayama Station

Family Mart just across the street. Washing machine in the room. Convenient location next to the train station and a short walk to the sights in town. I also liked the free ticket for visiting the sister hotel's baths.

高山の駅前で便利です。徒歩圏内にたくさんの飲食店があります。駐車場は1泊800円でリーズナブル。部屋は住居を改築したもので広さは十分。乾燥機付きの自動洗濯機や調理器具もあります。唯一にして最大の弱点はエレベーターです。1つしか無く、しかも驚くほど狭い！\u30004階以下の部屋か、必ず乗れる最上階がおすすめです。 "It is conveniently located in front of Takayama Station. There are many restaurants within walking distance. Parking is reasonably priced at 800 yen per night. The rooms are converted from residential units, so they are spacious enough. There is also a washing machine with a dryer and cooking utensils. The only and biggest downside is the elevator. There\'s only one, and it\'s incredibly small! I recommend staying on the 4th floor or below, or the top floor, where you\'re guaranteed a ride."

The staff could speak conversational English and provided us with information of the attractions and eating places. The hotel is just next to the train station and short wakiing distance to the historical streets and morning market. The hotel also offered complimentary mini bar such as soft drinks and local wines. If there is an onsite onsen, it will be perfect. The partner'sonsen serviceus a distbce away and we couldn't park there.

All good except the lift to small and only one.lift for the customer.

A local residence style unit, large room w pantry for light cooking and in-room free laundry machine; 3-min walk from Takayama station. Great value. The only small elevator is one downside if you hv big luggages to move.

Great stay at the hotel. Good location. For my gym peeps: hotels.com states there is an on site fitness center and there is NOT. The fitness center is an over 15 minute walk away and not associated with the hotel. It is small. At least has dumbbells but bare minimum weight equipment. You also need to bring a second pair of shoes to wear in the gym.

Stayed here on a family holiday in a large room with 3 beds. Great location (right next to the station with multiple restaurants and shops nearby) and good value. Very helpful staff. Clean rooms with amenities available as required. Only downside is that the hotel parking is very limited. However, there is a large car park on the other side of the station with plenty of space and it’s only a 5 min walk away. Would be happy to recommend to others.

Pros: The location is good! Cons: It was very dirty - the washroom in the lobby, hallways, room - almost like it's never cleaned. Staff does not communicate well in English, but try to be helpful and polite. There is only one elevator, which is always busy, which we didn't mind as lived on floor 3, but we had to use the stairs - and that's what shocked me - the rails by the stair are useless, confusing and dangerous - there is no railings, glass or anything that would prevent a child from falling between the 2-3 railings that are there (imagine for the whole set of 10 stairs there is only 3-4 tiny poles and NOTHING in between them). My very tall 6 year old could easily walk under those and fall down. It was very cheap, but I would not come back.

Room could have been cleaner. Not bad, just not great. Good location to the train station and all the sights.

A real home from home. Spacious, spotless, comfortable, every amenity provided. Excellent location right next to the bus and train station. Our favourite accommodation in Japan so far. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We chose this hotel because it is an apart-hotel and we wanted the in-room washer and dryer. This was incredibly convenient to have for the halfway point in our trip! I was worried about noise but there is NO issue here. The rooms have MULTIPLE windows blocking any noise from the trains. The beds are decent and the layout is good. We loved the location, Takayama is soo walkable! My only negative would be it wasn't as clean as most hotels in Japan and the staff were not friendly. This was odd compared to every other place we stayed. I requested an extra pillow from two different people and neither could fulfill that request. One took 10 minutes to find a pillow and when I asked about a pillow case they just shook their head. I had to politely decline since that is not sanitary. I was surprised the twin beds only came with one pillow and the front desk was unaware of how to procure more pillows. I would still recommend this hotel for affordability, location and accessibility for washing clothes!

Very good experience, nice comfortable beds, very spacious room with kitchen and laundry machine. It was definitely very convenient to have washing/drying machine in the bedroom, laundry detergent was provided, awesome! Over all very good, place is not fancy but it has everything you need. It was clean but cleaning needs improvement in some areas, specially shower door.

フロントのスタッフの対応はとてもよかった 部屋の清掃が行き届いてなく、入ったらフローリングには前泊者の食べ残しなのか、カップラーメンのエビらしきものが落ちていた また、浴室の壁には髪の毛が複数本付いていた バスタオルは生臭い異臭して不快でした スタッフ対応が良いだけに残念でした

房間很大，電器都很新，裝潢也很不錯，但木地板有點聲音。 地點就在巴士站隔壁，非常方便，是很棒的住宿體驗，如果房間清潔能更上一層就更棒了。

The hotel was located very conveniently within one minute from the Takayama Station, the bus terminal, and a convenience store (just in case). The hotel room was very spacious, very clean and quiet. We liked that the bathroom and the toilet were separate rooms, and the all-in-one washer/dryer in the room. We wanted to stay one more night but unfortunately, they were fully booked.

Convenient location adjacent to train and bus stations made it walkable even with luggage in sweltering heat. Room was incredibly spacious and comfortable for our family of four.

Room we paid for 3 people was hugh. 4 people could stayed - 2 super single beds and 1 queen bed. A well stocked kitchen with plenty of utensils. An induction cooker which we did not use. Fridge stock with some drinks like a can of coke, saki and beer. Part of the package per day. Washing machine with dryer. A big bathroom and a separate toilet. Overall we love this hotel. Biggest we ever experienced for 3 adults.

Location was perfect right next to the train and bus station. The apartment was great, had everything we needed for a few days and we appreciated the free washer with detergent in our room.

Rooms are great for a single or multi-night stay. There's a small kitchen with the essentials for cooking. Convenient location next to the train station, but also has a small parking garage. Rooms are well insulated so train noise is not an issue.

Good: Very spacious room. Bedding is comfy. Nice view from the terrace. Good to have washing machine and dryer in the room. Car park with cover is a plus. The relaxing area in front of the hotel is very nice. I enjoyed sitting there. To improve: I booked a two bedrooms property. There is no socket and cabinet near the bed inside the bedroom with Queen size bed. A bit inconvenient but it is minor. The lift is a bit small and slow. You may need to wait a but during rush hours.

I had a wonderful stay at Residence Hotel Takayama Station. The location is extremely convenient—right next to the JR train station and bus terminal, making it easy to get anywhere. Despite this, the room was very quiet thanks to the double-glazed sliding doors; I couldn’t hear any train or bus noise at all. The hotel is within short walking distance to restaurants, supermarkets, and local attractions. Everything was very clean, and the reception staff were gentle, courteous, and always greeted guests with friendly smiles. The room layout is well designed, with cooking and washing facilities available. I especially appreciated the door separating the kitchen from the bedroom, so there were no lingering cooking smells. The toilet is also in a separate room from the bathroom, which is a big plus. Even though it was very cold outside, the room was warm and cosy. Umbrellas are also provided for rainy days, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, a very comfortable and pleasant stay—I would happily return. punchy,” I can tweak it in seconds 🙂

Spacious apartment complete with washer, dryer, refrigerator, stove and tub centrally located in town for an exceptionally reasonable price. The train station was behind us and the promised soundproofing was great. Some staff were able to speak English and were incredibly kind and helpful. Love the eco cleaning system! We extended our stay two more days to enjoy Takayama. Well worth it!

Had a really hard time figuring out how to control the bright light in the bedroom.

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff was friendly and the room was so spacious compared to our other hotels in Japan. The location was also very convenient being so close to the train/bus station.

The staff was exceptionally helpful and went out of their way to assist us.

1. Staff - Same as anywhere in Japan, staff are very nice and helpful. But what sets this hotel's staff apart from other hotels is that when you ask for directions, they won't just give you a map. They will also check via google map from their own phone and show you the route to your desired destination. 2. Room - Very spacious, clean, neat and tidy. In addition to that, there is free big bottled water every day. The room comes with a big washer/dryer, and even the laundry detergent also comes for free! 3. Shower - Shower area comes with both bath tub and standing area (for people like us who don't want to bathe in the bath tub). The water temperwture also is very stable, unlike other hotels in Japan wherein the water in the shower suddenly becomes hotter/colder even after you fixed the temperature. 4. Trash bins - This hotel has the most trash bins compared to all the hotels we've been to in all our travels. There are 3 bins (segregated waste) in the kitchen, 1 in the bedroom, 1 in the toilet and 1 in the tooth-brushing area, for a total of 6 trash bins! this is very useful as people in Japan need to bring home their own trash. 5. Surroundings - the hotel is just beside the Takayama Nohi Bus terminal and Train Station which makes it very convenient for travellers. it is also near to a number of tourist destinations (morning markets, Old Town, Hida Folk Village, etc) and eateries. We will definitely be staying in this hotel again in our next trip to Takayama.

The reception attitude is not friendly.

Lovely hotel with kitchenette and in-room laundry facilities located close to the train and bus station. The hotel’s location made this a great base for making day-trips to surrounding areas. Walking around Takayama itself was also a breeze. Front desk staff were always super friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, comfortable and tidy. Check-in and check-out process was efficient. Housekeeping options were brilliant – loved the choices that we had as well as the method of communication (attaching one of three magnetised signs to the door). Thank you so much for a very pleasant 6-night stay, Residence Hotel Takayama Station!

受付の方は良い人でした（初日男性、翌日女性）。おかげで安心できました。お部屋もキレイで、駅近くだし、周辺にもコンビニや飲食店など何かしらあるので困ることはなく、観光地にも徒歩圏内。朝7時ごろからチェックアウトの11時近くまで街歩きを満喫出来ました。子供用アメニティもいただけたし、子供もまた行きたいと言っていました！ありがとうございました！

讚: 酒店 位置優越, 就在濃飛巴士的旁邊; 房間寬敞、清潔, 很舒適; 洗衣乾衣機很給力, 喜出望外. 還有, 可以使用另一酒店的大浴場, 雖然要行8 分鐘, 但是也不錯. 彈: 前台服務員大多友善有禮, 只有下午至晚上當值的日藉年青的男服務員不太有禮貌, 希望酒店作出改善.

This was a fantastic place to stay. Super close to JR Takayama Station for super easy access. Great town with a lot you can see and do. 1 minute to bus station to go see Shiragawa-go. Would definitely come back.

就在高山車站及巴士站的旁邊，房間設備非常完整，適合給需要早起、不需要早餐或喜歡自己去超市買東西煮的人。BOSS FOOD MARKET和ASUMO都在路程10分鐘內。二樓房間隔音很好，完全沒聽到別層樓或外面馬路的聲音

Great location - 5 min walking to Train & Bus station, very clean, 2 Twin size beds came with small kitchen area, washer that can dry cloths, large size of water bottle, instant coffee, tea provided every day. Love this hotel. We would come back to stay here again.

We have enjoyed very much our stay. The room is huge. There is a two in one washer and dryer in the room, very convenient. The complimentary drinks in the fridge are refillable every day with beer, coke, green tea, and sake. There is free access to hot spring at another hotel 10 mins walk away.

在JR高山站與濃飛巴士站旁，交通便利。免費洗脫烘衣機、微波爐、IH爐、調味料、餐盤、冰箱（有冷凍庫）可用，生活設備齊全，走路1分鐘有Family Mart ，走路5分鐘有2間超市，因此適合久住的家庭旅遊。離高山市區各景點走路10分鐘可到達。房間寬敞整潔沒問題。

Conveniently located near the bus and train stop. Kitchen is fully functional with salt and pepper, oil and..soy sauce. Great shower.

The rooms of this hotel has a mini kitchen. We brought ourselves some Hida Wagu beef from local supermarket for dinner. It's great. Their washing machine is also very good with detergent provided. It's very helper as we are staying for sking in Takasu.

This was an excellent value for the money location with big rooms, kitchen, bathroom ….. the biggest room so far we have stayed in during our vacation in Japan. I would highly recommend it for the location only a block or two from the train station, close walking distance to restaurants and unique shops. The beds are very comfortable although I don’t care for the pillows so I have been sleeping on the throw pillows. Unfortunately I picked up a nasty virus and have spent the last three days convalescing in the room. So disappointing but at least I’m comfortable.

高山駅からすぐで、散策も楽しめました。 部屋には乾燥機付きの洗濯機がありとても助かりました。 部屋も必要最低限のものは揃っています。 小さいキッキンと、油、塩、コショウ、醤油の調味料、お皿、フライパン、鍋などがあり 簡単な朝食を自分たちで作りました。(食材は購入していきました) 全体的にきれいで過ごしやすかったです。

飛濃巴士站下車轉彎即可抵達 附近也有大型超市 房間很大也很乾淨 房型設計簡約時尚 開放式衣櫥很好掛衣服 下次還想再來住！ 廚房備有油品調味料超級貼心 但想建議廚房用品可以齊全一點 希望有鍋鏟、廚房剪刀、平底鍋要有蓋子較方便烹調 房間還差一張小桌子 才方便放食物用餐

This location exceeded our expectations. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Location next to the train and bus station were ideal for our purposes. Loved having so many shopping and dining options within walking distance. Clean, spacious and well laid out room. Laundry located in the room was especially convenient after long travels. Will book here again when we next return to Takayama. Highly recommended!

This was a great place close to the train and bus depot, an easy 5 minutes walk. The room had two large twin beds and a tv, lots of plugs. A great plus was a one-piece washer/dryer for laundry, no coins required. A nice fridge with a freezer and a cook top and fruying pan and plates. Highly recommend!
