Dried urine was stuck on the toilet seat when I checked in. It’s discussing… cleanness is questionable at the hotel.

The hotel is located right next to a subway station "Hirose-Dori" and a bus stop, and near a train station. It is on a main street and very safe at night. Many restaurants and shops are within a walking distance. The hotel has its own hot spring, but only for males!!! Females can use the one in nearby sister hotels. People at the front and cleaning people were always very friendly and kind. Only one thing was that the mattress was too firm to me, but it might be good for backbone.

The staff are very nice. I left my passport in reception and picked up by the staff. They sealed it with an envelope and return it to me.

I think it's meant more for business travelers but my wife, two teenagers, and myself were perfectly comfortable. They staff spoke limited English but that should be expected when you get further away from Tokyo/Kyoto.
