Jaeger´s Munich (Hotel/Hostel)

The person at the front was very nice and helpful. Overall it was fine. The only part that was a little inconvenient were the lockers for storing the luggage all if them were full and the ones that weren't full had a locket that you can't remove. But other than that it was nice and the lobby is very cozy.

Facilities need a bit on an upgrade in the dorms and no air con. Half the lockers don’t work either. Superb location and great front office staff. Good mix of people too

Great place within minutes from the main station. Almost the perfect spot - the elevator is too slow unfortunately.

We left our luggage in the storage. It said “at own responsibility” (which I assume all places do) but we got a head phones stolen and our bag left open after the theft. Other bags were left open too. No help from reception.

It was pricey for a hostel ($300 per night) for a room for 4, but location was great close to the train station. They have an area for suitcases that you can store for the day but under your own risk. They have a nice bar.

Standard rooms with decent beds. Would have preferred lockers that didn’t require renting a lock but felt safe with the smaller group and a locked suitcase. Great bar with cheap beer and a nice affordable breakfast offering.

Leider gab es auf dem Zimmer keinen Fernseher obwohl es in der Beschreibung stand und auf den Bildern zu sehen war. Es sollte weitergegeben werden und mir ggf ein Rabatt gewährt werden, aber es ist nichts passiert.

Un hostal bastante cómodo y accesible. Bastante más cómodo que muchos hostales en Europa. Cuenta con un bar y área de estar. El WIFI se resetea cada 24 hrs entonces debes entrar de nuevo. Recomiendo llegar con tiempo al check in porque la administración del hostal es bastante lenta e incluso distraída. Yo no necesité toallas ni candados pero te cobraban bastante por prestártelos y el servicio de lavandería no es efectivo porque puedes lavar, pero la secadora no sirve.

Got the job done, great lobby area, football was on, good beer, and very close to REWE grocery store and Hauptbahnhof as well as many other restaurants and shopping centers and also Marienplatz and many other places were close. And also Oktoberfest was very close also

The bedroom was clean. The beds are confortable. The persons were very kind.

It was pretty cheap given the location. Right next to the train station and close to the bus station too. You do have to pay for towels and the bed sheets weren’t very clean, they had some stains. Other than that the location was perfect for our 2 night stay.

Overall our stay was enjoyable and adequate for the weekend. However, one person we stayed with found numerous bug bites across her body the morning after our first night, and her symptoms increased the morning we checked out. There were likely bed bugs present in the room, making our stay less enjoyable.

You get what you pay for. The beds are uncomfortable and the linens didn't seem to be clean, but the people at the front desk are kind and helpful and it's walking distance from Stachus and a lot of other places you should visit while you're in town.

Tok ca 40 min å få sjekket inn. Senga var behagelig nok og rommet generelt rent. Ok for en natt.

Loved the close proximity to metro/train services. Downstairs lobby area was also very social and comfortable to just chill with good quality WiFi. Front desk staff were generally very warm, except the guy checking me in who seemed entirely inefficient and disinterested (he had the flu so may be that). If persons are queued waiting, suggestion could be to multitask if persons need a few mins to fill paperwork. e.g Asking the persons behind to fill theirs paperwork while in line, copying their passport etc. Shower, beds and floors were maintained pristine clean. Beds though were very creaky with no privacy partitions/curtains. Further, there were no usb or power outlets near the beds which should be improved.

Clean and cheap

Somehow there was an issue between hotels.com and the hostel and they got one room of the three we booked. We got rooms nearby and took the one room hoping we could get a refund for the other two rooms. Then we found bedbugs in the room and had to leave. The front desk said they were out of gummybears that they usually hand out so they offered us a crayon. To which we refused! We have still not been issued a refund and out 2500 euro.

Zimmer sauber. Bett sauber. Bad geputzt.

Stayed here with 3 girlfriends for Oktoberfest in a private bunk room. Stay is a 15min walk to Wisen and a 3min walk to Munich’s central train station. 24hr front desk was amazing and you need your key card to access the stairwell to get to the rooms. Area surrounding is safe, assuming you’re following basic city rules. Was a bit noisy on the street and at times surrounding our room, highly recommend earplugs and an eye mask. I would stay here again- but I don’t think a shared hostel room would be a good idea if you want any sleep, especially during Oktoberfest! Also, they charge for towels but return your Euros back once you return the towel!

Zimmer etwas klein, Badezimmer ebenfalls, denke aber zu dem Preis sollten die Erwartungen nicht zu groß sein.

You need change the beds.

Man hat keine Privat Fähre , Für nicht Schnarcher, würde ich es nicht empfehlen in einen 4 Raum Zimmer zu buchen, Es war sehr laut , alle drei haben stark Geschnarcht darunter waren zwei Frauen im Raum. Mann konnte nicht einschlafen. Da es eh nur ein Tages Aufhaltung war , konnte ich es so gerade noch aushalten. Die Betten war aus Metal , Somiet hat man jedes Geräusch gehört wenn man sich dreht im Bett. Personal war sehr freundlich, sonst würde ich es wohl weiter empfehlen da es mitten in der Stadt ist.

The Air conditioner wasn’t working, the internet wasn’t working.

4 bed room is rather cramped full. Very small box and hardly any Place to put ones clothes onto.

Everything went great! My fiancée even forgot her ring after the checkout and we were able to get back in the room to get it back around one and a half hour later.The staff was great!

Rude staff

The bedroom was clean. The beds are confortable. The persons were very kind.

I will never stay at this hostel again. Despite booking through Expedia and already paying, when we arrived, our room had not been reserved. Even after presenting proof of payment, the staff didn’t believe us and treated us as if we were at fault, displaying unprofessional behavior throughout. Eventually, we were given a room, but as a family of five who booked a six-bed room, the hostel sent a Korean man to use the remaining bed without consulting us. This man was as confused as we were, and the hostel's assumption that it was acceptable because we were all Asian. Although the man later found another room, the situation was poorly handled. Additionally, breakfast, which we had booked in advance, was not confirmed, and again, the staff's attitude was dismissive, making us feel like we were at fault. The counter staff, especially a long-haired woman with big glasses, had an unacceptably poor attitude. To make things worse, the hostel carried out a cashier’s closing process around check-in (3 PM) and check-out (10 AM), the busiest times. This caused one of the two service windows to be blocked, leading to long queues, with no apology from the staff. Each inquiry took over 30 minutes due to this inefficiency. Other guests faced similar issues, such as unconfirmed bookings, unpaid fees, etc. In summary, despite its convenient location and affordable price, this hostel is not worth staying. I highly recommend staying at another nearby hotel for a more comfortable experience.

Place was good for a hostel, definetly try and get a single room. Some of the front of house staff were rude and slow but others were good and gave directions to things

Staff was neutral, not unfriendly, but not excited/eager to help. Like I came at 2:56pm, and they said sorry check-in starts at 3pm. Sure no problem I waited a bit in the lobby, sat directly opposite. Up till 3:10pm, waited directly opposite the counter to give a nod to come up. So when one guy walked right up and checked in, decided to reapproach them and they checked me in. They werent impolite or anything, but relative to the warmth and energy of staff at other hotels, it felt less.

Soggiorno piacevole anche se l accoglienza non è stata delle migliori. La ragazza che ci ha fatto il check in era molto seccata e sgarbata , non rispondeva affatto alle nostre domande. Al contrario, il ragazzo che c'era al pomeriggio era molto gentile e disponibile. Comunque lo consiglio ,molto pulito e situato in una posizione strategica per raggiungere il centro.

Near the central station and Oktoberfest area.

Just an average place to stay. I chose it because it was close to the train station but wish I would’ve stayed in another neighborhood as I didn’t do anything that was near the hostel.

Literally right by the main station, so you can get places easily. Wasn't overly loud for being so close to the train station and in a busy area. The facility is nice and clean. Reasonable prices too. Would definitely stay here again!

GREAT location in the heart of Munich, right by the central train station. Easy to get a train, subway or tram to wherever you want to go. My hostel was all young adults who were respectful of personal space and sleeping hours which made for a great stay

The staff at the reception are very nice and friendly. This hostel is not luxurious but in fact very budget friendly and close to the old town. It’s also close to the HBF train station. Highly recommend in Munich.

The property was nice for what you expect from a hostel. It was very convenient to the city center and train station. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Nao indico. Quarto simples mas percebi somente quando fui dormir que parecia que a roupa de cama estava usada, havia cabelos demais, parecendo que nao foi trocada, achei bem nojento. O cafe da manha era as 8h, surreal. Tarde demais!!! Nunca vi isso!!! No maximo as 7h está bom. Eu fui a Munique pra fazer um curso que começava as 8h e como nao sabia do horário, peguei pelo cafe. Nao pude tomar. Porem num dia que teve in grupo grande pra tomar café cedo, eles abriram. Achei absurdo. No mais nao achei nada demais. Na mesma rua ha outros, incluindo um que ja fiquei com Atendimento muito melhor, cafe da manhã maravilhoso e por isso nem recomendo esse.

everything is very clean, straight foward and organized here, true to german spirit. the breakfast definetely worth the extra cost! note that the 8 bed dorms have only 1 bath, so you might need to time your showers very early or just wait for your turn... but i think for this price, this can be totally expected. the location is ubbeatable.

Rooms were basic but clean …breakfast was good…it done well for our few days stay so no complaints

Schnelle Ankunft überall, schön, sauber und ein fantastisches Personell. Ich konnte mich auf Deutsch, Englisch und auch auf Polnisch unterhalten. Leckeres Frühstück und coole Leute, die dort übernachten. Ich dort komme definitiv wieder.

Staff was polite. Great breakfast. They had great lockers for our luggage so we could take a tour of Munich. No towels unless you pay an additional cost. Clean bed linen.
