Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. We stayed for four days, and the room was cleaned only once, even though it clearly says “daily cleaning.” The hygiene was almost nonexistent — the bedsheets and pillows were dirty, and the bathroom drains were clogged and didn’t drain properly. We paid an extra 400 NOK for a room with a balcony, but the staff refused to give it to us at first and placed us in a regular room. Only after insisting several times did they finally give us the room we paid for. The staff were not cooperative at all. Everything in the hotel is old and looks nothing like the photos online. Overall, it was a very bad experience, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Generally the hotel was well placed in Berlin with underground nearby and buses local. Breakfast was good, but expensive in comparison to local cafes. The room was comfortable and clean, but in need of an upgrade in decor, eg. the power shower was lovely, but there was no closing door, so potential for flooding. The staff changed often, some were really helpful, others not, so inconsistent. It was too cold to use the outdoor pool, which is very enticeing in the photographs. Overall, we would stay there again, a good experience.
