i like everything! great breakfast and the shuttle was always on time

Purely a gem. I was concerned about staying in a hotel in the Bo Kaap area. Everything was terrific beginning with the staff that couldn’t do enough for us, the room was large and very clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable as well. The area was quite convenient for restaurants and activities. The area was quite safe for Cape Town. Breakfast was yummy. There’s also a shuttle to the V&A waterfront. We will be back soon!

We had a wonderful stay at the Pepper Club Hotel. Regrettably only 1 night and had I known how nice it would have been, would have spent more nights. Copa the in-house restaurant was a great experience for dinner too. Luzuko our waiter was fantastic, plus the food was delicious! The hotel was a nice spa, and the pool area is great and a nice large sauna too!

I really liked the hotel. Central location near Long Street og Bo-Kaap. Very friendly staff. Nice room… Only complaint is the pool. In many pictures you see a hotel pool, you have no access to. It is a private pool for the penthouse suiite. The hotel pool is very basic nd freezing on a much lower level.

I rarely give 5 star ratings but I had nearly two weeks here at the Pepperclub and I'd recommend it to anyone. The staff were very efficient and good at their jobs, tours well priced and the free shuttle to the Waterfront was very useful. Safe environment in the CBD, high quality hotel, great breakfast and welcoming staff.

My favourite hotel in Cape Town by far. The moment you walk in you are greeted by amazing friendly staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The rooms are spacious and spotless, the gym is well equipped with fantastic views of table mountain. Superb choices available at breakfast, friendly reasonably priced bar as well. Highly recommend this hotel

The gym was well equipped with a sauna which caters for both men and women together which a bit awkward

This is the best hotel I've ever stayed in! The staff was amazing to my wife and I! They treated our needs as if it was their needs! I felt like I was at a family member's place! This has to be the best place in Cape Town! It was walkable to the Green Market and they have a shuttle that takes you to and from the VA Waterfront for free! They have a nice gym on the 8th floor, along with a movie theater where you can watch movies! I really didn't want to leave...:-)....If you're blessed to visit Cape Town, this is the hotel for you!

The Pepperclub is a delightful experience with so many extra features like complimentary transfers, in house movie theatre, great al carte menu items over and above the Breakfast buffet which is also included, spa facilities and turndown service. Staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast is great, rooms are comfy and spacious with sleep some more beds, excellent shower, deep soaking tub, light up mirror and vanity that is next level, some limited self catering with microwave and fridge, balcony overlooking city and beyond, smart tv plus usual tv with additional channels, lovely bakery/deli and bar area and good restaurant, pillow menu and excellent location to everything that matters in Cape Town. You can walk to so many places of interest and dining options are endless. Pool unfortunately is freezing cold and hardly gets sun. Overall charming place and highly recommended.

Wir waren für 11 Nächten in diesem Hotel und waren mehr als zufrieden… Das Personal super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Familien-Siute ist geräumig und sehr sauber. Das Frühstück ist sehr , sehr gut und das Service erstklassig. Wir sagen Danke an alle, die stets bemüht sind, die Gäste zu verwöhnen und können Pepperclub Hotel sehr empfehlen.

The day time staff was excellent . The hotel lobby and restaurant itself were clean . There was a roach in the bedroom and the restaurant bathroom .

I had a very bad experience with a staff at the bar who was very rude. The staff at the front desk were very pleasant and very helpful. If not for them I would’ve rated staff and serve as horrible! The rooms are very comfortable and neat. I love the rooms. They are luxurious indeed. I noticed my sheets were not changed in a week! I thought this was really bad!! There’s some construction work going on opposite the hotel and this is beyond their control I guess but it makes the front of the hotel dirty and too noisy.

I had very high expectations but was disappointed. Aircon heater in bedroom not working. Tiny bathroom - extractor fan not working. So the bathroom mirror gets badly misted up. No other mirrors in the room - so challenging / inconvenient. My main complaint - no desk/ chair in the room - even though this was advertised in the booking. Not recommended for business travel. Terrible view from the room. Rooms have very poor noise protection. You can easily hear people talking/ moving in the room next to you. Staff were friendly/ helpful. Room was clean. Nice fridge in the room. It was not great considering it’s advertised as a five star. Don’t think I will return.

Great views of Table Mountain

Expect to hear the music and crowds on long street.

Our first night was not the greatest, we had asked for a quiet room and it wasn't. Not really a family hotel unless you don't mind paying R12000 per night for a suite that's far away from the night clubs and bars that surround the hotel. Once they upgraded us to a suite all was good.

Our time at the pepperclub was fine. It was extremely noisy in the evenings (due to nearby nightlife), which made it difficult to sleep. Our room was also very warm and we were unable to lower the temperature

Amazing service. My new go-to address in Cape Town

As a solo female traveler, my #1 priority is safety. I do my research - I wanted to see a lot of things around Cape Town. This seemed like the perfect spot, even though it is 1 block from Long Street. I liked that they offer a shuttle to V&A - it was great. They also have a shuttle to Camps Bay. The day I wanted to go to Camps Bay, I put a Do Not Disturb sign on the door & left. The shuttle was 20 mins late, so I decided to Uber & take the shuttle back from Camps Bay in the afternoon - I communicated this to the staff very clearly & it was understood that I would be coming back on the afternoon shuttle. The shuttle did not arrive at the pick up spot I was told to go to. After waiting 30 mins in a dark parking garage, I called & the Manager told me the driver didn't see anyone (I was 10 mins early for pickup) - the Manager told me in 3 follow-up calls that they were sending a car (different cars). Nothing ever came. Finally, I went to the curb and paid cash for a ride back to the hotel. Upon entering my room, I could see that someone had been in my room. The Manager said that didn't happen. When I pushed the issue, he showed me a line by line print-out of all the digital logged enters/exits from my room - many of which were from times that I was not even on the property (I showed him my Uber schedules). He had no explanation - he Gaslighted me like I just didn't remember, or as if I didn't know when I was at a restaurant having dinner. NO RESPONSIBILITY OR CONCERN. SO UNSAFE!

Unfortunately, there is MAJOR construction directly across the street that begins at 7am -- even on the weekends. The stay was perfection, except for that dream of finally getting to sleep in :/

Overall nice property and conveniently located!

Centrally located hotel with good amenities, an excellent restaurant, very comfortable. The staff is exceptionally attentive and friendly, provides excellent service and is always available for questions. Nearby attractions can easily be reached, although not on foot since we were advised by staff not to walk except in main tourist areas due to general security concerns. Although it was cold and were a bit limited in our plans we had a great week!

Hotel is good, staff very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast and food options are good. Room is good with views of table mountain. Only downside is the area the hotel is located in, can be a bit sketchy. Also had to move rooms due to the room smelling of tobacco smoke but the staff were very accommodating.

Excellent service beginning to end from all staff. All functions and facilities were brilliant. Excellent food, well stocked bar and amazing room, complete with welcome for us as honeymooners. Will definitely stay again.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property and will definitely be back again. The restaurants on site were amazing and the staff a class above.

Personnel top, hôtel et chambres très propre, et les chambres sont de petits appartements, ce qui est bien lorsque l’on vient pour affaires. Par contre, la salle de sport et le sauna sont vieillissants. Le petit déjeuner est moyen (notamment les œufs et le café).

A quirky hotel close to the bar and restaurant district. I would stay here again! The staff are ultra-friendly and helpful, the hotel has a nice gym and very pleasant coffee shop. If there is slight criticism it is that the hotel bar is lit too brightly, which takes away its potential atmosphere and the dinner cuisine of the restaurant doesn't compete with the quality of local restaurants, but that's not surprising. The rooms are clean and the making up them efficient. Overall a nice experience.
