One of the nicest Super 8s I’ve ever seen. Very clean, modern building with a really nice lobby, including vaulted ceilings with eye catching murals. Lots of convenient businesses located right in the hotel (laundry, restaurant, bar with billiards, and more.) Staff were very friendly and helpful. The area it’s in is a bit more of a truck stop but still has lots of great restaurants in walking distance. This location absolutely sets the bar for what an affordable hotel should be.

Was a super nice place to stay. However hot tub was out of order. Pool has a constant cold breeze blowing on you which made it uncomfortable and freezing. Other then that awesome stay and one of the best breakfasts yet!!

The exercise room is awful, the equipment is falling apart and so old, you can’t even use the Smith machine, it’s actually dangerous, the wire pulleys are so worn out and stick. I had bundled via Expedia with a flight, I didn’t stay my third night, they told me to go via Expedia to get a refund, Expedia said they had to call Super 8, when they did Super 8 denied giving me a refund for my third night, said no to Expedia. I won’t stay here again.

This is a VERY nice hotel. Apparently totally renovated recently. Good quality and very unique design in the entrance with a restaurant and bar and second floor balcony overlooking the foyer. We stayed here for the first time because of budget restraints but we were delighted to discover that this is not a low budget poor quality hotel at all. It is actually much nicer than some of the more expensive hotels we usually stay at in the city. Rooms anre large annd comfortable.And the deck staff go above and beyond to be friendly and accommodating. Thumbs up all around.

I had an excellent experience staying at this hotel. Cleanliness is extremely important to me, and I would give this place a perfect score in that area. The bed was very comfortable, and housekeeping was done daily with great attention to detail and high quality. The breakfast was delicious and complete, and the food items were regularly restocked. The staff were very kind and friendly! The front desk staff were especially thoughtful—they didn’t use slang or complicated expressions, knowing that English is our second language. They spoke clearly and at a pace that ensured we understood each other.

been to a few super 8s lately, this one was not as clean or updated as others.. (broken tiles in the bathroom, fireplace and floor dirty) but, still a better value than other hotels in the area for that price point. so would stay there again regardless.

The room is clean and the staff are all very friendly. However, the double bed is a bit small for two people. I also noticed a $1.36 charge on my card that has not been refunded, which I’m not very happy about.

Bed sheets were blood stained, lipstick and sparkles on the pillow case. May have forgotten to change the sheets? I requested and was given a new set, they didn't fit. The room is not well maintained, missing a handle on the drawers, carpet is badly wrinkled (tripping hazard for my disabled spouse).

Showers don’t drain .. gross ..food left with some kind of slime frozen on the freezer tray of fridge; floors were dirty in room. When I mentioned showers would not drain front desk, ask me do I wanna plunger., coming back to a hotel room to own plumbing job, nothing joyful. Was offered to change your room, but at midnight we just forego the washroom and utilized a pool and facilities the next day elsewhere. Be at the Continental breakfast at 6 AM for anything that you eat by 9 AM will be.., uneventful. The smoke pit is at the front doors of the building and is truly disgusting even for a person who had bern a smoker. Wish I had better things to say truly do. Attendant in the morning, when I paid, the bill looked at me said sorry while folding the bill handed it to me and that’s all you’ll receive other than full price. Go elsewhere.

The room was clean and the staff i spoke to were all friendly. The breakfast had a few things and a few cold things so no matter how much breakfast you like you should be covered. It was a quiet stay and a comfy bed, and the shower actually had water pressure which o fond on a hotel its usually too lkw for my tastes

Second time staying here. Was very pleased again. Sandra at the front desk is excellent...she just has such a lovely manner about her. Warm and professional. The building and rooms are super clean. I love that my single queen room has heaps of space for an armchair and large desk, both of which I use. The breakfast has lots of options: pancakes, toast, muffins, tater tots, sausage, baked beans, omelettes, boiled eggs, yoghurt, 5-6 kinds of cold cereal, oatmeal, juice and probably a few things I'm forgetting. Would be happy to come again for my next stay in Sh Pk.

Very nice, bright lobby. The blackout curtains were great and the room itself was decent. I love the pre-check in online. I just wish I could then get an electronic key so I could skip the desk altogether. My only real complaint seems to be an issue at every hotel. Sound travels so much and the air conditioning is extremely loud.

Great location, easily accessible to commercial and shopping centres. Close to highway so it’s faster to get to and from Edmonton area. Hot breakfast has good selection. Small dining area but there is seating outside of the room. Clean rooms; can hear people in the hallway if there is noise, but most guests were courteous and were not loud for a long period of time. Comfy bed and pillows. The AC/Heat unit was loud though, we were not able to use it and just opened the window for fresh cooler air.

Breakfast included, quiet room. One room was not cleaned, hair in bed, sink and tub. Hotel grocery delivery company was yelled at by front desk, then proceeded to ask my husband to sign for the delivery while he was getting his breakfast. He happily signed for it, and eventually saw a staff member and let them know where there food delivery was. Highlight of the trip, he enjoyed his stay.

Cleaning staff were amazing - super helpful and friendly. Front desk staff were hard to get a hold of for checking in, answering when calling the front desk and following up on requests. Overall good stay since the room was clean and well prepared by cleaning staff.

I booked on Expedia 3 hrs prior to check in and it wasnt in the system. The staff at checkin was rude and would let us checkin with out a valid credit card for a deposit. I offered cash and debit card. My company card was maxed out from previous travel and the payment had not been applied even after 4 days. We had to call a fellow workers mom, woke her up to get her credit card to apply to the deposit. He was also rude her .

The gentleman who checked us in was absolutely amazing!!! He knew we were going to the hockey game. The next day when we were checking out, he said that he was thinking about us when the Oilers came back from a 3-0 deficit and won the game in OT.

Pros:Delicious breakfast and variety of options, staff was very helpful, clean quiet room, bathroom and tub/shower were good, comfortable bed, quick access to highways to get around, only 2 stories high so easy access Cons: a little isolated so you definitely need vehicle access, parking lot is large but often crowded with trucks and trailers Overall: would definitely stay there again

I come into the city often for shopping etc and this is my favorite place to stay. It's close to everything I need, the staff is always nice and it's clean. Also worth noting that I travel alone often and have always felt 100% safe here

Bed was comfortable enough but the sheets were scratchy and smelled fishy. Air conditioning unit was loud. Bring ear plugs. Breakfast area was crowded so we went to Denny’s across the street.

The hotel itself was really good. The restaurant located in the hotel was awful! Subpar food which was cold both times we ate there. Sent it back the second time and it came back with somewhat warm potatoes with the rest of the plated food cold
