Excellent location. Excellent and very helpful staff. I would have hope that the roof terrace had a bar with happy hour to enjoy the view of the marvelous city. Very good breakfast Parking was a plus.

The palace is incredible and has kept the original ceiling painting and furnishings seem totally authentic. There is endless space to enjoy around the palace. Breakfast was ok our first day but very poor the second. No cheese, no bacon, when we arrived 45 minutes after opening. Ice cold scrambled eggs like they had come out of a fridge. Vi stannade en natt i Matera och valde detta lite finare hotell, dels pga prisvärde (Jag hade en bonusnatt att använda) och dels pga av läget med utsikt och takterrass. Rummen var jättefina och lägen fenomenalt. Lite knepigt att ta sig till och det var trångt med hyrbilen genom porten. Vi fick mycket god service och frukosten i det mäktiga rummet var god. Tyvärr var service och utbud i tak-baren lite begränsat men utsikten runt om över staden och ravinen fenomenal. Ena rummets hade dålig luftkonditionering men personalen försökte rätta till det och bad om ursäkt för problemet.

Very unique to be staying in an ancient cave dwelling. Modern appointments were very comfortable. The space was large and luxurious. I would not recommend getting a room here with a jacuzzi. The water made to room very humid. The tub water was not hot enough to enjoy. The circulation system was noisy and could not be turned off - it was on a timer. The tub and water smelled bad. Instead choose a room without a pool or a jacuzzi tub. Soaker tubs are much nicer.

宮殿だった建物を改装したホテル（他の人も書いているように、朝食会場へ続く回廊はまるで美術館のよう）で、とても快適に滞在できました。今回はジュニアスイートに泊まりましたが、部屋は２人にはもったいないくらい広く、バスタブも付いていました。我々の部屋からはカヴェオーソ地区のサッシがよく見えましたが、ジュニアスイートでもサッシが見えない部屋もあるので、サッシビューの部屋を希望する場合はあらかじめリクエストする必要があります。やや不満だった点は、部屋に湯沸し器がなかったことと、せっかくバスタブが付いているのにお湯が風呂に溜めてつかるのにはギリギリの温度までしか熱くならなかったことです（冬だとお湯につかるにはちょっと厳しい感じです）。

Could not believe the beautiful reception rooms you walk through to get breakfast, as good as visiting a stately home. Our room was wonderful and the staff very helpful. The terrace area was a great place to watch the sunset.

What a fantastic hotel right in the centre of matera. The rooms were wonderful and the staff very helpful. A word to drivers getting tit he hotel can be a little stressful as the roads are very narrow and confusing. The restricted zone signage is the worst but ignore it as the hotel sorts the issue out with local police.

A real palazzo right next to the Duomo & restaurants. Senore Viseconte was present & allowed guests access to his private home & art gallery. Matera is really a special place. Thanks 007!

Her bodde vi virkelig i et Palass, med veldig god beliggenhet, og fantastisk utsikt over denne spesielle gamle byen. På vei til Frokosten som ble servert i palassets matsal passertev vi gjennom flere rom med takmaleruer, vakre møbler og kunst. Frokosten var ypperlig, og ble servert av en veldig hyggelig vert.
