Pool slide hours were not clear before booking and they were doing swim lessons while we were swimming which was odd. The pool is not very big for swim lessons to be happening during hours of operation. Our tv constantly was cutting out and we couldn’t watch anything. The guy at the front desk was not very friendly and not helpful. Overall would not come again. Also on another note. Late night snack of a chocolate bar an a pop at the front desk why is a chocolate bar 4$?!? I will say Tyler at the front desk was very approachable and friendly!

Room was clean and comfortable. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and free parking. Only thing, TV is located 90 degrees from the bed beside a cabinet which obstructs the view. TV Stations available leave a lot to be desired.

This was an unexpected stay. We were on a long drive along the 401 when freezing rain hit. With 2 kids in the car, it wasn't worth pushing on. We pulled off the highway and searched Expedia for familiar hotel brands, settling on this one as best available quality for reasonable price. It turned out to be an excellent choice. We checked in a little early and made a day of it, grabbing a few grocery items for the kids from a nearby No Frills. The girls absolutely loved the pool, which we had to ourselves and the gym was excellent. I was particularly pleased with a surprisingly robust selection of free-weights/dumbbells. We had a lovely time and departed at noon check-out the next day when the weather had cleared and driving was easy. Thank-you.

The heat/air conditioner was noisy and annoying so had to turn it off all night to sleep ! Needs replacement!!! Slide was not able to be used by my three grandsons 6,6 and 9 years old so VERY DISAPPOINTING since we booked a pool with a slide just for t(em to enjoy! Hot tub non operational for over a year - ridiculous!, why have one if it can not be used! Not warm and friendly at all and overpriced“ NOT HAPPY AT ALL !!!!!!!

There were cigarette ashes on the sofa. Sofa itself looks old, carpets looks very old, washroom was not properly clean, water was coming inside the toilet bowl from the moment we went inside the room.

We just stayed overnight and it was generally very good. There was a dirty hand towel smeared with makeup in the bathroom, but otherwise no issues. The area around the hotel has many amenities so is good for overnight stays.

Pros: obviously the waterslide is the big attraction to this place and it was definitely a highlight. Free parking, great location to shops, movies, university, highway, etc. Cons: our room was showing its age and cleanliness was not great. Very poor quality mattress on the pullout couch which was stained and very springy. Friends had the same room next door and reported the same — not a great sleep for the kids. Room was missing bedding, toilet needed repair, some towels ripped, and Cheerios and wrappers underneath the pullout. Overall staff was attentive and it was fine for a night en route home but overall an underwhelming Marriott experience.

The Room furniture was the most uncomfortable I have experienced till now . The mattresses were uncomfortable... no support.... very soft. The one relaxing chair was not at all comfortable... the work chair was equally bad.... I had to go out to Mcdonalds to work on my system... Thanks for the discomfort. Anil Dhawan

So many great things about this hotel. Room with multiple beds large enough for the family. Queen beds are so comfy. Standard pillows that I hate, but are standard. Large washroom with lots of soaps and shampoo. No, one use bottle so everyone can shower.The pool was great! The only thing that made me so angry was the pull out bed. You can feel every bar and spring, this makes for a very cranky child in the morning.

Right from the start, our experience was great ! Everything was as described. The staff were very helpful, polite and professional. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and accommodating and did a great job ! The friendly message and treats from the manager was very much appreciated. It was very close to shopping and literally anything else you would need. It is just a min off the 401 highway. A very short drive (5-10 min) to the heart of downtown Kingston and the waterfront. All in all our experience was stellar and we will definitely stay here again and also at other locations of the Courtyard Marriott. Thanks to all the great staff at the Courtyard Marriott for making our stay amazing !!!

A staff try go into my room in the early morning (around 6 am) since they make a mistake on an incorrect room check out. So creep when I and my kids are waked up by stranger who opened the door and try to going our room!

Hotel has an in house bistro with an over priced breakfast. I’ve stayed at cheaper hotels with better free breakfast. The hot tub was closed for unknown reasons. The pool is much smaller when the water slide is open. The beds although comfortable, were small. The rooms need more child safety features.

The property was great, easy access, lots of parking. There needs to be a better affordable option for food/coffee. Starbucks and the prices at the bistro were way too expensive. I went elsewhere for food etc. When I checked in I was given a room that was already checked into. I'm not sure what happened. The lady at the front desk was very apologetic and gave me a new room right away. Overall my stay was enjoyable and the room was lovely.

This hotel is conveniently located to the 401 with lots of shops and places to eat nearby. Staff is very friendly. Our room was very clean, bed was extremely comfortable and bed and bathroom linens were a very good quality. This hotel has a bistro that has breakfast, dinner and a good selection of drinks at affordable prices.

The hotel is quite fine. We had a little delay getting checked in...but apparently due to unforseen circumstances so not the end of the world. Dissapointed with the breakfast options. $6.50 for a medium coffee. Rather extreme. I would say if going with a family find a hotel that includes breakfast to make your stay more cost effective.

We had an amazing stay — the service, rooms, and amenities were all truly five-star. Everything was clean, elegant, and well cared for. The only downside was the food downstairs, which felt way too overpriced for what you get. Otherwise, a fantastic experience and we’d happily return!

From the second we entered until we left, the staff was polite and helpful. Everything was clean amd very beautifully decorated. The pool, gym and patio were quiet and we enjoyed our time using them. We ate dinner and breakfast at the bistro. The food was 10 out 10! Delicious , fast and fresh. I plan on visiting again and will wil recommended to friends and family.

Staff was great! Not having breakfast included wasn't great, but then the cost of buying it was crazy expensive. $17... $7 for a coffee. Way too much. Smoke detector went off every time we showered. Gym could use a few more small weights. Clean and nice. Good area.

Yes shops were nearby. The only issue was Starbucks for coffee. Muffins were not so good and very expensive. Service was slow however staff were very polite.
